Yes it's a feature I really miss, especially the different colors for different apps etc. Every time a new phone is released I check to see if they have incorporated it somehow. The edge lighting isn't the same I don't like putting my phone face down.
The cpu update its the most important i dont care for all the comprimizes, they made the right choices to get the price down i like s21 much more than the S20 plus the flat display makes it much better for screen protectors

The 10's don't have optical zoom. Camera is leagues better with the s20 and 21, especially in low light. The lowlight cam on the s20 is crazy good, almost like night vision goggles, but with color.
I went from the s8 plus to the s21 ultra like 2 weeks ago, although that phone was amazing it only took like an hour of using the s21 to realize how outdated the s8 felt

The S21 is better than the S20. The snapdragon 888 boost performance and efficiency of the S21 and the difference is noticeable compared with the S20 series. Samsung removed the things that most people don't care about (except the charger).
Starting with the basic A01 now. Love it. Very Impressed with Samsung upgrades since the S8. Looking foward to a reconditioned Verizon S10 for $200 this Christmas. Then up to an S20 with a 1TB card by 2023.

I'm Still rocking my S7 after 4.5 years. I'm thinking getting a used/refurbished S10 or S20. I want that SD card. I wish they made those new phone the same size as the s&. In fact my favortie phone Size wise was my previous S3. Perfect pocket fit. Phones are getting a bit to tall. with the new no bezel you could fit a nice screen on the size of the S7. Th S10 is the most similar sized phone/more recent. But it is already getting old. I will miss that Notification led and the physicals button that is a fast finger scanner too, oh also the 3.5mm jack, I love my Sennheiser heard bud, I have them for a while now, but they are so good. My main problem with the S7 is my battery buying and now limited camera and my screen has the keyboard and notification bar marked in it by now. Also looking at the Pixels but no sd card for my music SD card. anyway thanks for the physical comparison, we don't see enough of those. The SIze is a important point for me
I think an S10e can suit you pretty well, it the new design, it's almost the same size as the S7, and it has what you want like the headphone jack and SD card

Indeed , S7 has , glass back, micro sd, QHD display and headphone jack. Also in the box a fast USB charger, a standard USB 3.0 cable, a USB-A to MicroUSB adapter, and a pair of headphones , lol. Come on Samsung , the S7 is 5 years older than the s21 and has so much more to offer. Apple gets away with less for more because ios users don't have the choice to get a device from an other manufacturer but Android users they have plenty of choices. This is the reason why my last device is not a Samsung anymore but a Sony , the Xperia 5 mark II.

And the snapdragon 855 to 865 represented a much bigger than usual generational leap in performance (25-40% in benchmarks); it was a much bigger upgrade than the 820 thru the 855, and from the 865 to the 888 were. Not your best review, you're getting sloppy. Re: the s7, the Oreo update killed the snapdragon s7 (4 core SD820), the exynos version aged much better.
Exynos isn’t bad. The exynos 990drama made ppl think it’s a bad chip. But i had s6 / s8+ and now s20 ultra. The only huge difference between exynos and snapdragon is in s20 lineup. Before that the gap was really small and before s10 ppl didn’t even notice or complain

I traded my S10 for the S21 for free. S21 is faster, camera is better, & 120hz. That's why I upgraded.

Not only the back changed, the whole frame changed too and was made with aluminum instead of full plastic
and wireless charging
The s5 to s6 was a complete redesign, it was very similar to the s7 with aluminum face. The s4/s5 were the ugliest phones ever made.

The turnover for the Samsung design is the s6 (glass and metal), but the very start is the galaxy alpha and note 4.
If you’re not buying the s21 ultra stick with what you already have, as the s21 is a downgrade compared to S20.

I don't mind the plastic back, I'm the owner of two s7, and both I've had both phones shatter with the glass back.
