Mine arrived yesterday! I saw your video and ordered one. I haven't been able to hand-knit for a few years now because of arthritis in my thumb, but I love knitting and have so much yarn... the machine arrived around noon and I had two hats finished by 3 when I had to go pick up my daughter, and got a scarf almost done before bed! Thank you! I didn't know about this machine and it has given me back one of my favorite crafts!
To make it even easier (I have EDS and thumbs that bend backwards and elbows that bend backwards a lot!!) you can get an attachment for an electric screwdriver! Add a bit of gaffa tape to the trigger and just keep an eye on the length and boom! Even quicker and easier!
Wow, I do crochet, but this looks so fun. I just went on website and ordered this same machine. I can’t wait to get it now. I have to finish my current W.I.P.s real quick, so I can play with my new toy when it comes. Thank you for posting, your skirt and sweater came out very cute. I’m going to watch a few more of your videos for now.
My mum bought me one of these for Christmas! I have made about five beanies and a panel! I am ordering myself a heap of yarn today and I am going to make this jumper 🥰
Woah, looks great! A tip I'd like to share with you is to block your panels and sleeves (or steam them) before seaming so they aren't so cinched or create that effect where the fabric "dips" in where you stitched them together. Blocking will help you line the pieces up and keep the stitches even! But even without blocking, it looks great
@@VondaInWonderland blocking is when you wash (or steam) your finished pieces and then lie them out and pin them to the specific measurements you want. I'm not sure about machine knitting, but with hand knitting, you knit a small swatch (4-6" square) and then block it before beginning your project, so that you know how the finished fabric will look and behave. Some yarns will grow a lot after blocking, so it's important to test beforehand.
@@VondaInWonderland oh and you usually hand wash your knits in a sink or tub, but you are able to pop some knit items in the washing machine, depending on the yarn you use (I always hand wash though, I'm too scared to ruin my knits). There are lots of videos on blocking!
I'd love to see a combo sweater using the machine and hand crochet. Maybe embellishments like trim in crochet? Or maybe the body in crochet and sleeves on the machine?
I got mine this week And you videos have really helped I have now done a beanie a scarf and a headband and also fingerless gloves I love it Now I'm going to try a top like this❤
Such a sweet video 💓 I love crochet and also don't really enjoy knitting- I find it much harder. Very tempted to get a machine but don't want to get bored of it quickly and abandon it 🥲
@@cassrwong it really looks it! I was meant to bid on a vintage 80s Tomy knitting machine that came in pretty pinks and reds but I missed it! Might have to grab a sentro instead hehe
@@cassrwong This may be like really sudden, but for a video idea you could create a tank top or lounge pants with the knitting machine. Just a random thought I decided to share with you 😅
I wanted to like this, but couldn't. Really love knitting and crocheting, but haven't done either for a long time, it's nice to see a young girl taking interest and creating her own individual pieces. Keep going.
Thts awsome I hve this same machine and hardly use it I've only made a 2 colour beanie 4 yrs ago 😁 since I been watching your video I'll get into it again thnx for sharing ❤ later on I wud like to get the king Addi machine it's on my wish list 😁
I have one of these machines too. I can’t knit to save myself, and it’s been a revelation! I’m about to knit a patchwork cardigan from thrifted wool. I even found some cashmere. It’s going to be interesting anyway!
Absolutely beautiful!!!!! You’ve inspired my to use my sentro machine for more than just hats!!! Thank you!!!!!🧿🧿🪬🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️🩹💫💫 also, thank you for making this video very easy to follow. Your instructions were super easy and fluid with your work and timing!!! Thank you!!!!! 🎉🎉💨🦾🦾
THE YAWN BOWL IS SO CUTE 😍😍 the knitting machine is literally the coolest thing ever! I feel like at some point you'll need to do a video showing everything you've crocheted!! Have you tried making anything for Miso with the machine? Also congrats on 10k+ subscribers girl - I literally feel like such a proud mum because you deserve this so so much. It makes me so happy to finally see your channel getting the recognition it deserves and bringing your dreams to reality 🥰❤
Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial!! Been looking forward to this ever since you announced it! I would love to see more sentro tutorials, maybe a vest, or leg warmers, or maybe even cute little knit shorts??? Glad to see your channel growing :’)
Wow! I haven’t even watched the video but it already looks like you did an amazing job Cass. My boyfriend ordered me this machine, and hopefully it will arrive in time for Christmas. I am so excited because while I love the way crochet looks, I really suck at doing it haha! Excited for your video 😊❤️
Hoping to get one of these for christmas! Can't wait to try making a top like this. It would be awesome if you could also mentioned how to cast off next time :)
Your sweater looks fantastic! I'm wondering if I will be able to make a larger size sweater instead of the fitted style. I like the looser baggy type of sweaters.

My machine was a dud. Made about 10 hats and the counter stopped working then it locked up completely 😂 I have a replacement coming. Tearing it down is a whole adventure in itself with 4 kids and 3 cats. I may be missing some screws 😬
I just watched a video on the Sentro machine, and your's is not only the problem with parts breaking off...after a few uses the counter stopped working..lol I want to invest in one, but not sure if I should go with the Sentro or Addi?
Do you use any waste yarn to cast off for each panel/tube or do anything to tie off/make a knot before crocheting all the pieces together? I'm worried that if I don't slip st or sc the ends before attaching all the pieces, somehow it'll just unravel.
@@ajia4742 i checked out her last video where she used the moda vera reflections yarn so i believe she used that here as well but i think it’s discontinued :(
