Hope you see this!! Lion Brand Mandala Yarn in the colorway Centaur That’s the yarn for the scarf you love. I used it for a scarf last fall and recognized it 🥰
This really makes me want to get one to try and use up all my scrap yarn, and unused stash yarn. Very cool way to make beanies I think. Your cat hats are my favorite from this lot, I really want one now lol
As someone that’s been using a knitting machine for a couple of years now, I’m so glad all the TikTok girls are showing me how to make sweaters with my machine. Also, the WORST yarns for the machine are Red Heart Super Saver and Caron One Pound. Lighter worsted yarns do better, like JOANN Big Twist or Lionbrand Skein Tones/Basic anti-pilling, HL I Love This Yarn (except some of the prints). But weight 3 is where these machines really show out 😊
Can I just say....seeing your yarn closet made me feel better about myself...not in 'wow, that's even worse than mine' way but 'oh thank god I'm not the only one doing this' way....thank you for your videos
I also bought this wonderful machine ..She knitted hats and neckerchiefs for five grandchildren on it...The best are the colorful waves, beautiful patterns ..
I rotated the suction cups into the hole on my sentro so they'd fit. Also taping packaging tape onto a flat surface helps tremendously with the suction cups!
5:45 i saw a girl on yt and ticktock say don’t use the panel setting. just use the tube setting but remember to turn the thingy a few pegs past your first and last stitches so you don’t drop them. (and go back and forth ofc)
The yarn you used for your favorite scarf (first one) is... Lion Brands 'Mandala', the color is #214 [Centaur] and it's a light #3. I made a scarf with this color too 😉. I love, love the last scarf, very pretty and long. Everything you made turned out really cute.
Gorgeous creations. I really liked watching the creative process. Alt Knots made a great distressed sweater with a knitting machine and Crafty Caz makes super textured hats and ear warmers.
I finally gave in and got a sentro its coming sunday!! Im so excited. Im a crocheter but I love the look of knit. Its too hard for me to do by hand so I finally decided to get a sentro!
Wow, can’t believe you did all those in such a short time. My favorite was the long brown/tan scarf. You really outdid yourself. Really nice work. Thanks for sharing.
It was so hard to watch you struggle. 😢 I wanted to reach through the screen and show you how to fix all of the problems you had. Once you find the solution to those issues you’ll be shocked how easy it is to crank out amazing stuff. It’s certainly a steep learning curve but there are a ton of tutorials out there. Best of luck!
Interesting concept! Personally, I don't think I would have the patience for something like this, but it was still interesting to see. You did a great job showcasing all of the features, learning curves, quirks, and samples! 😊
Just a few tips I have learned. Those suction cups . I couldn't get them on all the way either. And really don't stick to my surface I'm using. So I put blue tac on the bottom of each and they are fine. Will stick for days at a time. Some brands of yarn do not work well with the machine. I think it is the texture or density. Don't know. Even if they are the same gauge. Best of luck. You will enjoy it. I don't rely on the counter. Mine broke as well. I put sitich markers on every 10th row. Nice when a very creative person... takes something to make some unique things. Well done
Im so glad you made this video bc I have been rly wanting a knitting machine but I was not sure if the sentro was any good! I love the every piece you made so unique and awesome !!
Girl, you have more patience than me. I only have to look at the machine to know I would be yeeting out of the window before I'd even managed to put it together properly. I can't shop at Ikea for this very reason 😆 Btw, great effort on the London/English accent! Very impressive! We'll have you sayin 'boh-ul of wor-uh' before you know it 😜 Sending hugs from a freezing London 🥶 🏴🥰 Natalie x
I saw a tutorial that suggested using a row of contrasting yarn in between the scrap yarn and the project, and that really helped me! It makes pulling out the scrap yarn really easy because you can see the contrast row and pull it out and then the scrap yarn just comes off. Also I used clamps to secure two legs of the machine and that made a HUGE difference with it flying all over the place when you're trying to crank it. The suction cups are such a joke lol
I know I’m like a month late lmaoo BUT All the problems you have with your machine, I had with mine and I know how to fix them!! For the stitch dropping, I use a hook and a darning needle, you can pick the stitches back up and weave them back through really easy! For the suction cups, I got new ones from the dollar tree bc really those ones SUCKED LOL And the machine being hard to turn is literally just bc they don’t oil it well coming out of the factory. Alt knots has an awesome tutorial on how to take apart your machine and fix that, worked SO WELL for mine! Hope these helped!! 💖
I’ve seen a add-on for the knitting machines to be able to use a drill for the crank. Saves the arm a lot of work and it’s so much fast. I’m not sure if they are for all brands or a certain one but I’d be getting one if I ever get knitting machine😂
You need to wet the suction cups so they hold better. That worked for me. You have done amazingly well for a beginner! Beginner to expert in three days! Well done. 🎉
To get your machine to stay in place you can get a square panel of marble from Home Depot, or Lowes. The suction cups will stick to it, and the weight of it will create some stability. Happy kreating
Sorry, I don't have the energy to read all the comments so maybe someone already said this : Most of the trouble that you're having are very commun at the beginning! 1/ it shouldn't be hard to crank, if it is, either there is to much tension on the yarn or a stich is stuck somewhere and the "needle" can't go up easily (when you adjust the tension it usually goes away in one or 2 rows... 2/In panel mode, I usually stop the string with my thumb on the machine just before the end of each row, that way the tension is tight (yes this time you need it right) on the last stitch(es) so that it doesn't drop for the next row. I also use a clothespin sometimes on the bordel just to make a little bit of weight to maintain the last stitch in place. (I do the same when I am changing yarn- adding a clothespin on the thread insure that the loop is tight around the needle) 3/I think your machine doesn't stick because your table isn't completely smooth... If you have a frame big enough you can take the glass or Plexi or something like that put a little bit of water on the suction part and then of that piece moves you can clamp it to the table or put some weight on it... It took me a while to figure some of those thing up, and I learn a lot of other little things by watching TH-cam videos, But when you do "master" this machine, it's really amazing, I made 3 giant blanket for my family for Christmas just a few days each and there are so warm (because I assemble tubes together there is 2 layers of yarn), it would have taken me months or years by hand... And you can make so many others cool thing, really fast and really easily! Now I have a good excuse to buy yarn, everytime, I run out of all the stock that I used to have....
Brother just bought one yesterday! (not sure what brand) He’s so excited since he just got into loom knitting and needed something a little more accessible.
I have two addi machines, this lady was very interesting to me of everything she did and modeling it as well, it makes me inspired. More videos please 😊
Oh Lovie ❤ put this suction cups on glass or truly flat surface. And oil that machine ASAP! Thank you for all the videos 😊 I really need others opinions ❤️
omg i have the sentro machine and can't find enough tutorials to make actual clothes on the machine :')) So far I've made around 12 beanies and scarves but can't make a sweater for my life hahah- also for the shakiness of the machine, I find that if you have a carpeted floor you can dig the machine down into it actually helps a lot!! I can't wait to see your tutorials!!
Dollar Tree yarns work like a dream in my Sentro. Some of my finest creations are from DT yarn. You can get the same yarn at Premier Yarns, if you can't find it at your Dollar Tree.
That green yarn was so pretty, and that beige scarf omg. So cute. I really want one sentro machine since last year, the things turned out amazing. Please do more vids of it.
#1 recommendation is to get some strong double sided tape, I use a thick kind that is almost like a puddy. Take off the suction cups and just use the tape. My favorite yarn is Caron simply soft, the machine likes slippery yarns and thinner 4 weight. Great job on your makes ❤️
I just got one of these! I’ve been practicing with beanies for now, since I make them double knit and it’s easy to hide mistakes. But I’ve been hunting around for future project inspo.
I am thinking about getting this machine, because I love skirts and dresses, if you keep doing this, please make tutorials on that stuff because I always love the way you teach us things 🥺🌷 Saludos desde México 🇲🇽
❤🎉 OMG i iust ordered the 22 and 40 machines… i really hope i like it. i cant knit 🧶 but i do crochet 🧶 but i’ve wanted to do knit projects so fingers crossed 🤞🏽.
Use waste yarn when casting on and off. If you drop stitches, it will be in the waste yarn. When you take your work off of the machine, you can slip stitch the ends to finish them and then just pull out the waste yarn, which can be reused.
Hi there .i had so much trouble with it .i did use a drill but that burnt the machine out and i binned it and as a older woman i found it way to much pains in my arm ..may be damp the suction caps with water ..i used a shinny bench for the caps to grasp onto …some people are ok with it but im going great with my crocheting by hand ..happy cranking …
Impressive first days of machine knitting! Ive heard good things about the Sentro, but decided on the Addi machine instead because the Addi has clamps that hold the machine down. Maybe a hardware store might have clamps that would work for the Sentro? TH-cam most likely has vids on mounting the Sentro to a table. Good luck and well done!
Well done for all your makes 😁 I have 2 suggestions for your scarfs, the one with the patches colour dye problem, you could make some crochet flowers or buy some patches, or even embroider something over each mark. Second scarf you love, you could sew up the ends and add pot poms or trim or tassles, just an ides or two 😊 keep practicing, there must be a different way to cast on to stop the ends from curling up, like cuffs 🤞
Happy Sunday Morning! Thank you for sharing your Tutorial on the Knitting Machine. I think you did a Fantastic job on your first experience with it. I'm thinking of purchasing one to make Hats for Donations. I still Love to Hand Knit but it takes much longer to do unless you're using a Bulky Yarns. I really want the Addi Machine but it's so Expensive right now and I need it to be on Sale. 😂 Keep being Creative and Adventurous Sister! ❤️
Some people as is. Others like myself like more conveniences so I've bought a stabilizer that fixes it to a table. Also I bought a drill attachment that allows me to knit faster and not get tired. I got these items from Etsy. Some of the yarns are problematic. Sometimes you can resolve these problems with the right tension, sometimes not.
If you want something over sized make two panels and sew them together to make one side(the back)and then do it again (for the front) the make the sleeves then your done 😊
YESS I was so excited when I saw this video pop up! You are my favorite youtuber for crocheting and knitting and I love your videos! :)) I recently bought the machine and was curious on what to make with it, then a couple days later this video came up! :D I can't wait for the tutorials!!! 💛💛
love this! i’ve been looking longingly at the sentro knitting machine and i think once i make a few regular crochet and knit pieces more i’ll splurge on it. love your videos i get so excited to see a new one has been posted. you deserve allll the subs in the world. keep it up!

As a knitter, crocheter, and machine knitter I love seeing how quickly you evolved and learned in just a few days. Bravo.
Pacôme
I literally just looked this up and now you have a tutorial. It’s like divine timing 😂
Hope you see this!!

it has to be said. YOUR HAIR IS SOOO COOL
I rotated the suction cups into the hole on my sentro so they'd fit. Also taping packaging tape onto a flat surface helps tremendously with the suction cups!
With my sentro, I ended up attaching stick-on velcro squares to the suction cups and my work surface. A couple of bucks and it helped a ton!

Alright, you've convinced me. Now I need one🤣
Woahh! looks so cool!
yay!
I have two addi machines, this lady was very interesting to me of everything she did and modeling it as well, it makes me inspired. More videos please 😊
I've been seeing everyone use this knitting machine as well, Despite all the struggles you went through all the stuff you made is amazing. queen 👑
You can put a damp kitchen towel under the machine,so It doesn't move on the table
I love the scarfs with the different colors☺

With the shirt you can add crochet to the end to enhance the look it look great and do a gatera stitch to the top to bring it in for the perfect look
❤🎉 OMG i iust ordered the 22 and 40 machines… i really hope i like it. i cant knit 🧶 but i do crochet 🧶 but i’ve wanted to do knit projects so fingers crossed 🤞🏽.
I love that knitting machine coz I make stuff easily in just a minute and it’s a user friendly 😍!
Do you have a tutorial for that no face bag that’s hanging behind you? I just started learning crocheting again and I’m so inspired by you!! ❤
I will have one soon :)
YES that no face bag is so cute 🥹

I just bought mine! I'm so freaking happy!!!
You are such and inspiration to me and I love your vids ♥️ I hope you have an amazing rest of the year and keep up the
Good work🎉
Thanks for the share. I'm considering this machine now.
I just saw this machine for first time in a giveaway today.....that is why I clicked on your video first time to your channel...cool vlog. Subbed!

You could try the clear putty used by museums for the underside of the suction cups.
I knit with a flat bed knitting machine as well as crochet. You can make sweater quickly

Omg I was legit thinking I wanna see you use this before I buy and boom this video pops up yay !

I meant some people use the knitting machine as is.
Actually, I recognized the yarn you were using with the scarf, and it's the mandala yarn from lionbrand. I also loved that yarn when I first used it.
The green mix 🔥🔥🤌🏾
literally obsessed w your channel it inspires me so much :))
If you want something over sized make two panels and sew them together to make one side(the back)and then do it again (for the front) the make the sleeves then your done 😊
you make things sooooooo fast it’s insane!
Wahh you're hair looks amazing!! Also you're videos helped me get into crocheting so thank you

the suction cups - you can wet/clean a surface and get a better attachment.
Would love a in depth tutorial on how you do the scrap yarn on the end w the slip stitching!
love this! i’ve been looking longingly at the sentro knitting machine and i think once i make a few regular crochet and knit pieces more i’ll splurge on it. love your videos i get so excited to see a new one has been posted. you deserve allll the subs in the world. keep it up!
ur so iconic i’m inspired by you every day
Oh I am first 😎😎. Ilysm btwww. Luv ur videos. You are my crochet inspiration

Cool you have so many yarnnns😮
PLEASE MAKE A PATCHWORK CARDIGAN ON THE KNTTING MACHINE. I feel like tubes of different colours slip stitched together would look so good & be so fast
I love the second scarf
I got mine for Christmas and I love it sm
Get yourself the attachment for a drill. it will save your arm from cranking the wheel. I've been wanting one of these gems but haven't bit the bullet just yet.
I used mine for 2 years it doesn’t break you have to clean the machine 💕
Don’t get me wrong, you did an awesome job!! The only thing I notice with this machine is how it makes all articles of cloth roll up at the ends. I don’t know anything about it all, but I want to try out. I just crochet
I think if you do crochet, you can end the pieces with a nice crochet style and it will not roll😊😊😊😊
super cool! love ur hair btw
Thanks! Happy New Year!!!!!
happy new year! :)
People whose machines are "broken"-- it's possible it just needs to be deep cleaned. You can take it apart and put it back together using the screwdriver that came with the machine. You can even buy replacement pieces for cheap.
you should put some vegan mayo on that sandwich, i swear it’s delicious. i like the refrigerated follow your heart brand. 10/10 mayo
Omg can you please make a tutorial for the tube top!! I love it 😍😍
You did a excellent job.
Not sure if someone else has commented this but I think the yarn for the scarf you like is Lion Brand Mandala Centaur.
This is so beautiful!!!!
Ur hair looks so cute
❤
thank you
I have a small one of the machine. I love it lol
