Can you please show us how different electrical components likes transistors, capacitors and others work together in a circuit
Thanks Paul...
@@tulanichiyowele6304 We have many videos on this already, please check them out
@@EngineeringMindset I have but I want something were all different types of components work together in one circuit board . For example a high voltage multiplier
OK I see. We have done some in the Time delay relays video. How the components act together
I like that you include even the basics in your videos.
We try to make it a level playing field so no matter the viewers experience they leave knowing more
@@EngineeringMindset My favorite channel!
hello supreme leader
OMG I totally so agree
First step motor diy video guy I've subscribed to!
In the end everything complex is just a connection of multiple simple things understanding the components better makes it self explanatory which makes these videos awesome
One of the clearest and best explanations of anything I've ever seen on youtube.
Let me just say I love your channel, I am a tool guy and love electronics but I'm also a high school dropout (married young), yet I just woke up and had no problem understanding this, very clear and to the point
Great video, superbly explained. Greatly appreciated how you covered the various types of stepper motor designs and their strengths/ use case
I had already learn about stepper motors but with you there is always something new to learn. God's speed ♥️
Beautifully explained, I've always wondered how they work.
as a professional designer of stepper based systems for global slot machine companies, I find your explanation of basic operation well thought out, methodical and covers most of the basics, well done!
at 11:30 when he explain how it move around, what stop the rotor to move backward, how does the magnetic field know to move it in a certain direction? rotor teeth have the same polarisation and the stator have the oposite polarisation wich is why it move i get that much but why in the direction it is going?
@@sebastienparent4606here are two sets of coils in the stator that are controlled independently (each controlled by its own pair of wires, A and B). Each pair can be given a positive or negative voltage. Positive voltage will make the coils in the set have poles facing one way and negative voltage flips them. In the basic wave drive version, only one set of coils is energized at once, so there are 4 possible "states" which I'll call A+, B+, A-, B-.
While in the state A+, the rotor can either rotate clockwise into B+ or counterclockwise into B-. So you can control the direction just by the order that's energized. A+, B+, A-, B- for clockwise and backwards (A+, B- A-, B+) for counter clockwise.
Incredibly well demonstrated and explained.
Was just about to install/work on some of these at work…nice timing.
Was thoroughly impressed with this video. Wish my engineering teachers taught this well.
Brilliant explanation yet again, Paul!
👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
A very simple detailed video! I’ve got everything at once! Thank you!
Thanks!
Thats added a little to my knowledge, and cleared away a little of the mystery.
Clear concise, and to the point.
Couldn't be better.#.
Thanks. Just got my first stepper recently and haven't found this clear of an explanation of how the thing works anywhere.
Awesome explanation! As an electrical engineering student, these videos provide an in depth and intuitive understanding. Thank you!
Thank you for all the hard work and the making of a simple and extremely informative video.
Been watching motor explanations for ages trying to get my head around how it works & this was the first time I think I actually got it enough to make my own from memory. Thanks a lot! 😊
Brilliant explanation! Thank you!
One of the best channel on youtube.
This so well explained and makes so much more sense now how it operates. Good job
Just found this channel. Fantastic description. Nice calm and well detailed explanation.
Thank you for taking the time to teach in this type of way. I learnt alot within just this video.
Will certainly check out further content from you.
Stay safe and keep this coming.
Thanks and welcome
@@EngineeringMindset I was always afraid of stepper motors because they seemed super complex but thanks to your video I have clear concept of how stepper motors work. I mean I wasn't really watching video with focus and STILL I LEARNED A LOT!!! THANKSSS!!!
Well Explained 🙌🏻
Thank you 🙂
Awesome video 😊. Very helpful animation as well as explanation to understand the working principle of Stepper motor.
the best stepper motor explanation to date

Best video about stepper motor I seen.
Tremendous animations, very well crafted for our Understanding. Thanks you!
Been waiting for this!!!! Thx
thank you so much!! learned a lot!
Well explained easy and to the point ❤
That variable reluctance design is interesting. Nice how it doesn't require any permagnets.
Fantastic explanation, thank you guys.
Welcome again in other great video in engineering
Thank you
Great tutorial as always, but one thing i noticed is that at around the 12:30 mark in the video (when describing the Full Step motor) the coils look like they are wound in the wrong direction to be giving the magnetic polarity shown. Great job though and keep them coming.
Im very thankful to your channel sir, easy to understand thats why its nice to share to others 🙏🏻😊 i hope you keep uploading more videos 😁🙏🏻
What an amazing explanation !!!

Haven’t visited your channel in a while but last time I did you only had 100,000+ subs 🤯 so chuffed for you, this channel is excellent 👌🏼
Thank you and welcome back
good video, thanks
It has a very strong magnet, and strong magnetic field. MFM drives and floppy drives can send a radio signal about reading, writing or about the status of the software used.
Great video sir, keep it up
Very informative. So you could use this type of motor to open and close a shutter on a camera?
Great work!!!
