Thank for all your video, I was able to launch a podcast so I can help all my mom friends establish a self care routine so they don’t loose their shit with 11 kids 😂😂😂
Thanks for the tips, having worked in commercial radio and on internet stations I got the chance to see the staggering differences between them. And I would like to add a warning to one more commun mistake that many people make: 1:-Write what you will say. many people believe that professional broadcasters talk spontaneously, with no preparation, no research and no experience, very few do, and that is after many years of experience under their belt, and the syndicated ones have a team of people doing the research and typing it for them, so at least write the subject of your show, the general idea, or the bullet points of it, or be frustrated before the mic, and spend endless hours recording doing it over and over!
OMG Thank you for this. I teach my students how to outline their episodes and write scripts. I have encountered some many people telling me that they don’t want structure. They want more off the cuff, organic content, and I’m like 🤔. Thank you Damian. Can I share your comment on my social media?
Hi. I am enjoying your videos. I am treating them as if I am in school. You have made learning fun. I am excited about launching my podcast and making fewer mistakes because of my preliminary work. Can't wait to share it with you once launched. Thanks again!
Hello! Veronica and Steve. I started my Podcast to share my poetry, singing and stories from my life. And it is going good (according to my expectations). I really liked guidance and keeping them noted in my diary. Thanks! for motivating me during this Lockdown.
The Fire Wolf you’re welcome❤️. We’re holding a free masterclass about how to start a podcast next week. If you’re interested, here’s the link to reserve your seat. www. podcastingsmart.com/register
This was a great video. Really helpful for me. My husband and I started a podcast and almost gave up, but have decided to try again. You have inspired us. And I am trying to learn Spanish so love the spanish at the end :-D keep up the great work
Shina - Preparing The Home awe thank you! ❤️ We’re holding a free masterclass about how to start a podcast next week. Even though you’re already a pro at podcasting, I think you can find it useful. If you’re interested, here’s the link to reserve your seat. www.podcastingsmart.com/register
Thank you for everything. Just loving your contents. I am from Assam, India. Recently I launched my podcast and I know I made some mistakes. I would definitely try to rectify it. Thanks again
Your giggles in between made my day 😂. I honestly struggle if the sound doesn’t work for me or if someone’s voice isn’t soothing. That’s probably because I listen to most podcasts in bed before falling asleep. I just launched my podcast and am really hoping people are not too irritated by my German accent or the occasional slip of tongue. Absolutely love all your content❤️. Thanks a bunch!
Anna Akosua that’s awesome! Congratulations on launching your podcast. I’m glad to know I’m not the only going going to sleep while listening to podcast 😀. Would you mind sharing the link to your show so I can give it a listen?
How do I make sure that my artwork and colors and title all work cohesively? Thank you! I was wondering if I should start the social media pages first. One of my sons is going to do that for me and manage it. I would like more info on exactly how to do that and start up in unison. I’m so lost but I’m going to try to do this right the first time thanks to you Veronica! How do I find out the pricing and info for your school?
Thanks so much for this invaluable tips. What's your advice or best practice if someone is starting a podcast for an already existing and somewhat well-known platform? Leverage only on the reach and followers they already have or create separate social media accounts?
I am getting ready to launch my own podcast. But I dont want to limit myself to one specific topic! I want to talk about my culture, about current things affecting the community, and other things. Any advise for poeple that don't want to limit themselves to a specific thing? How to title or do the trailer
Choosing the language: should I start my podcast in my mother tongue or better English =? maybe both but in different hosting platform? what you think?
sara salmaso you can either pick your favorite or choose both. Here is an example of a podcast that does three languages, same episodes, three separate podcast. ochentastudio.com/mija-podcast
I hope this information is helpful for everybody. At the beginning of our journey we made so many of rookie mistakes. Podskis, let us help you not to these mistakes.
The point of getting people to join a social media page for a podcast that doesn't yet exist for the goal of having all those people to launch it to is quite confusing. Like....HOW? Why would anyone want to join a social page for something that isn't even in existence yet? Things that make me go, "hmmmm?" Other than that big fat annoying mystery, I do like the rest of this video.
You can share social media post about your content and start engaging with your ideal audience on social media. I know it seems weird, but it works. Once again, I don't want you to get discourage. You don't need to have it all figured out you can learn as you go.
The more I research starting a podcast, the more annoyed, overwhelmed and defeated I feel. I haven't even started yet, but I'm at a point in the research where I'm feeling like this just is not for me. Nice concept though. But.... bla. Seems next to impossible on so many levels. Maybe I'll just build a youtube channel. Seems easier. IDK.
I get it. We'r releasing a video tomorrow showing you the step by step of launching a podcast. I know how frustrating it can be not to find all of the info in one place. But don't let this discourage you. One step at a time. We're here if you have questions.
The most annoying thing about podcasters is making us listen to a long-winded introduction, stating the obvious -that's the podcaster loving the sound of their own voice. Like this one went on for over two minutes before getting to the content.. why I'm not going to watch the rest of the video get to it!
oh, latin ladies mmmmm....oh, sorry my mind went off the rails a bit. Okay, I can't think of anything she said. My main goal is just to get people to laugh at my random stupid point's of view on random topics that pop in my mind.
You should be creating a podcast for yourself. If you are creating it for anyone else, including your audience, it will be sterile and fake. That is a huge mistake.

Veronica, you are SOOOO beautiful!!! This information is so incredibly helpful. I only wish I had it sooner!!!
Thanks, as usual, for tuning in and spreading the love!!!
For me its important
Resourceful content. But it took you 2 minutes to start. That's 1/6th of the total video! WOW!

Only hispanic speakers got the lentejas joke lol
Dorian Aldava finally somebody got my lentejas joke 😂😂
Silly but very funny, also, very valuable content, I’ll stick around to learn more 😉
@Pod Sound School 🤣🤣🤣 that was great!

First mistake. Having an ugly gf
Sorry 😞. I’m sure your girlfriend has other redeeming qualities.
