I saw these guys twice in the same evening once in a small venue (400-500) , at least 2 people left in ambulance. I will remember forever that night, they are so good.
@joveninfernal this was before modern day metalcore existed, a lot of people used the term metalcore to tag bands that had punk and metal influences like D.R.I. and S.O.D. and Cryptic Slaughter and such, crossover kinda led to the creation of metalcore in a way
This and Thrash are the best types of music there is!!!!

ONE OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL BANDS WHEN I WAS A WEE LAD. CROSSOVER STILL RESONATES TO THIS DAY!!!!!!!!
the most overlooked band of all time
I saw DRI with Uncle Slam in 88 or 89 in Denver, and it was almost identical to this show. KICK ASS!
Was heavily into D.R.I. during the 80's as a wee teen. Saw them again years later in 2001 with the Mentors-crazy show
The good ol' days
My favorite band
You're right, they are from Houston. They just ended up relocating to San Fran sometime during the release of Dealing With It.
I was there June 23, 1987
