Hi man! You asked about that huge walking creature thingy on stage? That was Eddie (the Mummy), the Iron Maiden mascot who appears on all their record sleeves - each time in a new design - and also remains a consistent part of their liveshow. If you've ever seen an Iron Maiden t-shirt, you have seen some incarnation of Eddie! Along with Motörhead's Snaggletooth, Eddie is the most iconic, famous and recognizable of its kind in heavy metal history.
That was my 2 show of Maiden in chile, 30.000 people. The next year they play again in chile in front of 66.000 people stil the biggest audience in the world, to maiden, for a sigle band, not a festival
Amazing how Brad all of a sudden liked heavy music (he used to hate it) after he realized how popular it is and how many likes and subscribes he would get and that it would add to his income. I still do not think he actually likes it though.
Bruce just can not do the early Paul songs enough justice! Deep down Bruce is still jealous of Paul & never puts enough in. Figure he would try more at least. Idk?
They have played that song I believe on every live show, or pretty much every one. Over 2000 times.
Nice moves Brad. Great reaction 🤘
One of the few pre Bruce songs that they still proudly play. Great choice! Its a shame that the Rock and Roll HOF have snubbed them for over 20 years
@@helltownsfinest8753 spoken like a true bummer
@@christophersavill4785 I see what you did there 😉
bruce also flew the plane. when not singing was a passenger jet pilot until forced to retire at 65
I was 12 when I saw the Powerslave tour for my first concert and about crapped my pants when the 40 mummy Eddie popped out from behind Nicko!
Mascot Eddie
X questo pezzo ci vuole Paul D'Anno ciaoo dall'Italia 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Also Rock In Rio 2001 was an awesome concert.. Check out any song from that one. "Sign of the Cross" for example.
the clansman

I liked Paul. Killers was my first Maiden album. But no...
Better song with Clive burr on drums.... there, I fixed it for you
@mikemclaughlin3306 better with both in my opinion
Up The Irons 🤘
Alexander The Great, it’s a ride
This is my favorite version. Bruce in his prime. Scream for me Long Beach!!
