This was actually a drawing I did over a year ago (before I started Patreon) so I haven't got a Patreon tutorial for it, unfortunately!
But I am actually going back through some of my older TH-cam footage to see if I can do a voiceover and make them a real-rime Patreon tutorial as well (there are a few TH-cam tutorials that people have asked about!) so this one is on my list to do in the future 😊

Wow...another masterpiece Kirsty....In addition to what you draw I also love how you record your videos and show your paintings getting completed gradually rather than time lapse or fast edits...and your techniques are very good and easy to understand...though I have a small question...I am also a pastel artist but can we call our pastel works as paintings or rendering/drawing?

Hi Kirsty!
Are there any mediums that can be mixed with pastel? For example I found a set of metallic pastel pencils that I would use for small details but can I use for example metallic aquarelle on top? I found those ones much brighter than the metallic pastel pencils.
For a scale of a fish for example. Would it stay or come off easily?

Honestly, I'm not too sure about adding mediums on top of pastel (you would probably get the best answer if you contact the pastel company directly 😊)
I've had no problems using water based mediums underneath pastel, but I've never tried adding them on top!

It's a bit difficult for me to help with technical issues as Patreon is an external website so I don't have control over that side, unfortunately!
Have you joined/paid but have no access to the tutorials? Or are you having trouble signing up?
There are a few things you could try 😊
If you're having problems logging in (or Patreon is asking you to pay again) ...this may help!
Make sure you are logged into Patreon first www.patreon.com/login
(double-check you are using the right email address - sometimes people have two email addresses and try to log in with their second address!)
Then head over to my Patreon Tutorial library here

Then choose a tutorial you wish to watch, and click the image!
This will take you directly to the tutorial, where you will find the list of supplies, reference photos, and the actual video tutorial itself 😊
