    So pretty much what you’re saying to avoid all the issues of re flashing, re fueling, having the car run rough, afraid of going past half throttle etc etc etc.. just get a tune with SRM flex fuel and I don’t have to worry about anything. Gotcha

    Hi Eli, when you are talking MPGs are you using what's displayed on the dash or are you calculating when you refuel?
    I found the MPGs on the dash are very inaccurate. I had it show 19mpg and when I filled up got 14 mpg actual.

    Been watching your channel for the last couple years and playing catch up, but had an S4 MT, traded it in (regrettably), then sold the care I traded it in for because of Covid, test drove an S6 and really liked it, but can't get past not having a MT in my car. I feel its a way of life. I wish Audi dropped an MT in S6 because it would be a no brainer per the stock performance and additional luxury. When I test drove the S6 as driving any other car I am occasionally reminded that as I reach for the mysterious stick that doesn't move or the non-existent clutch on the floor boards that this isn't enough for me. Enjoy your vids, but missing seeing the S4 (I think it was involved in an accident). Anyway, I am seeking financing for another S4 MT I found with 50k miles now that I will be getting back to the office here and there and the drive is longer and requires a more comfortable ride than my 09 R56 that is also on its last leg with blue smoke syndrome. Anyway, keep up the entertaining vids.

    Hey Eli, Hope all's well with you and the fam. I sold my blue SQ5 and picked up a '17 A8L 4.0T so i'm back tracking your vids a bit.
    Just threw a bunch of goodies from SRM on there. DS1, RS7 turbos, inlets, HPFP/lines. My problem is when I fill the tank with corn and floor it (afrer it warms up) I can feel power just clipping.
    SRM sells a kit to make it fully E85 compatible (LPFP, module etc) Just wondering your thoughts on that. I'm hunting for 9"s.
    Thanks for the content, you're a solid TH-camr

    I don't have an S6 but this is still fun to know. In other markets my Saab had a factory Biopower option that consisted of an ECU tune, engine block heater, and a few other tweaks to run ethanol. It's possible for me to do something similar here on the aftermarket quite reliably, so I may do that. Good to know about the various blends though, that's something I'll need to look out for.

      Get DS1 it supports a hardware flex fuel sensor for much more safety and no worry

  • @jimlab
    @jimlab 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I'm curious about the actual % Ethanol level you're running (I see 70% in that table), because I was told the S6 doesn't have enough injector volume to run straight E85 without running lean. I was told with my new DS1 system that I should mix 92 and E85 to come in around E50-E55. Silly Rabbit Motorsports and Quicker Racing Components are both offering a fuel pump upgrade (new low pressure pump in the tank combined with upgraded high pressure pumps up front) and additional injectors to deliver more Ethanol, but I heard that the limit is still around E65-E70. BTW, my new RS7 turbos are performing almost as well on the base 91 octane tune as my stock turbos did with the APR Stage I tune on 100 octane. Time to turn it up with E50-E55, see what it can do, and then find a reputable DS1 tuner to maximize the gains.

Only thing if u get the tune don’t include the ghost cam it damages ur car depending on mileage and history
