    I’m switching right now cuz of 93 prices. I paid $100 to fill my SQ5 today. Absolutely ridiculous but I’m excited for extra power!

      Update: after driving with it for over a year now, I absolutely love it. I recommend everyone that can switch over to e85, the “good fuel”. It’s so much better and cheaper.
      Only reason I’m here today is to flash back to stock for warranty work. 😭

    Do you need the content analyzer? Can you just wait 10-15 minutes in idle then flash?

    • @034MotorsportUncut

      You do not need one, but it makes this process much less of a guess.

    Ordered everything a few days ago, can't wait to get it in.
    That said, I have a gas station less than a 5 minute drive from my house in a 25mph zone. So if I were to drive my tank empty (93 octane), fill up with E85 and slowly drive it home I assume that will be fine as well. By that time (around 2 miles) my guess is that most of the 93 in the fuel lines should be gone by then.

    • @034MotorsportUncut
      @034MotorsportUncut  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As long as you don’t hit boost, you’ll be fine! We highly recommend installing an ethanol content sensor and gauge to ensure you’re hitting proper ethanol levels

    Is this process similar when switching from ethanol back to 93? Do I switch the octane file immediately or wait for the blend to go down?

    • @034MotorsportUncut
      @034MotorsportUncut  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The process is the same but in reverse. You should wait for the blend to get down to below E60, flash the 93 file, and drive gently until the the remaining blend is to E30 or less.

      It is the inverse of this. Fill tank with 93. Wait for ethanol content to go below the E60 threshold. Flash to 93. Idle/LIGHTLY drive until e content comes down to e10-e30.

    Could you daily a E85 Tune file on a B9 S4? Any cons from running it daily?

    • @034MotorsportUncut
      @034MotorsportUncut  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you could daily drive your B9 S4 on E85.
      We would recommend occasionally running a tank of pump gas, though we have not seen any adverse effects to running full E85 at this time.

    • @034MotorsportUncut
      @034MotorsportUncut  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can absolutely daily on E85 without issue! You may need to fill up more regularly due to the fact that E85 files require 30% more fuel, but that's certainly made up in smiles!

  • @vivanbhathena999
    @vivanbhathena999 ปีที่แล้ว

    stupid question but how bad is the mileage on e70 ...drag strip is about a 100kms away. do i have to carry extra ethanol with me and has anyone done the mix with 93 or are you supposed to do it with 91 only. 93 will have ethanol at e10 so switchover maybe faster? anyone calculated the exact ratio like 25-75 or exact 70-30

    • @034MotorsportUncut
      @034MotorsportUncut  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can expect about a 30% decrease in overall fuel economy when running full E85. Our E85 file is designed for full E85 and we recommend against any mixing with 91 or 93.
      Bringing extra ethanol with you would be ideal!

    • @034MotorsportUncut

      That's not necessary. Simply drive the car around until the range estimator is around 5-10 miles, then do a full tank of gas

    So what’s the ethanol tolerance on your 93 or 91 tune rather than stock?

    • @034MotorsportUncut
      @034MotorsportUncut  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If someone does not have the necessary ethanol content to run our E85 file (E60-E85) then we will recommend them to run our pump gas file instead.
      If someone has access to ethanol, we do not recommend them to blend E85 and pump gas while running the pump gas file.
