I've got an a6 and just pressing the traction control button turns it off partially. If you want it fully off press and hold for 3sec and you'll have a message that it's fully off. Worth a try!

Go to the boost screen, try to set launch at like 2500-3000 in your tune if you can and you will see the boost gauge fill. And you will get faster times. I'm stage 2 I get 3.5 average when my launch control doesn't work. I don't have a great TCU tune setup for launch control, it revs freely. But when it engages properly and holds around 2500-3000 I get 3.2 0-60

When I got my B8.5 S4, I brought it home and checked the counter; it had 1 launch on it so I made sure to change that... Oddly, I think I’ve done ~8 launches since but my counter only reads like 4 and I know I’ve always fully engaged launch control so I’m not really sure what happened there.
Hes doing this in comfort mode. Which in my case I ended up doing 0-60 in 4.1 and the 1/4 in 12.1@112. BUUUUT my dynamic mode is ideal. 0-60 in 3.6 and the 1/4 in 11.75@116mph

Idk how you didn’t do launch control the day you got it. I haven’t even put 200 miles on my new engine and floored it multiple times.

I already did the S4, I probably would have ended up in a big turbo S3 after the S4 if it wasn’t for the family stuff though

That’s interesting - maybe yours only counts launches by 0.5’s 😂😂
Which OBD2 do you use?
did you try holding down the esc for 4 sec it should turn it off fully i have an 2015 s3 and found that out
doesn't work for 2016-2018 Audis for whatever reason. My 2016 SQ5 was the same way.
I got 3.86 0-60 and 12.46 1/4 in my 15 A8 4.0t stock
And 3.68 0-60 and 11.59 1/4 APR Stage 1
in S8 sure, but under 4s 0-60 stock with 4.0t A8 is BS... Car has about the same power as S6 but is heavier...Dont lie

If you hold the traction control button it will turn traction Control off completely
It won’t for 16+
When I bought my S4 two years ago, it had 13 launches. When I sold it last month it had 190.
