Flowmaster Outlaw by a landslide. Those others sounded nasty and crackly…..the worst sound for a Musclecar.

I will always argue that Roush makes the best catback system...it sounds the best on any Mustang...on my mother's V6 2014, the Roush catback makes it have a better sounds than many of these weird V8 setups
The Flowmaster Outlaw and the Borla switch fire both had an insane sound. Those 5.0’s sound so exotic. Like real life video game cars.

My opinion, worst thing u can do it’s have a mid muffler delete/x pipe and leave stock rear mufflers on.

It's a 5.0 it's impossible to get rid of any raspy sound. These cars are more oriented for a track sound not a muscle sound. But I will say the quad tips sounds better imo after exhaust mods. I'm just waiting for my ford catback and I'll judge in person lol.
Switch fire with factory active mufflers sounds amazing. The non active mufflers are too raspy

It’ll be a bit before people realize that this is not the same motor as the s550, the new ones don’t lose power with H pipe and they sound a lot cleaner
Didn’t it even make more up top with the H-pipe than with an X? I think I saw a video on that and was like “hold-up wait a min, sum ain’t right”
Yes it does make more power on the h and that makes me extremely happy as a s197 owner with that setup

These all sound so tin-canny. I can’t wait until someone goes with a magnaflow straight thru muffler or something. That’s just me though, nice cars regardless.

The 2024 mustangs that come with active Exahust all sound better then these
I think the white one with the Borla X Pipe will sound better when they switch out them mufflers. Just sounds too metallic, like a soda can or something.

When we were doing the pre-production 2024 I noticed that not all the GT's have the quad tips any more. I don't like it.. They're too quiet.

How about a Borla Switchfire into a Flowmaster Outlaw axle-back?
Borla sounded the best. In my opinion. I want to see what it sounds like with the axle back put on as well. The Flowmaster sounded like someone beating a drum inside a cave. And the resonator delete just wasn't loud enough.
The white 5.0 sounds best. Straight X-pipe sounds raspy and lite. Flowmaster sounds like an empty drum.
Borla did the research and it shows.
PS. Hate the digital dash. Looks like something in an electric Hyundai.

So with a non-active car, an axle-back exhaust shouldn't void anything. With an active exhaust-equipped car, you're messing with something tied to the electronics, so it absolutely can void that part of the warranty.
And the resonator can actually affect the tune of the car and can potentially void your entire warranty. Different dealers have different leniencies on this, but you're taking a big chance.
And don't listen to the idiots online who say nothing can void your warranty without proof that the part caused the problem. You're going up against Ford's corporate lawyers, and you were tinkering with something they sold you. You'll lose lol

Yeah it really does .. I'm currently running the steeda h pipe ..just gotta figure out which axle back that will keep the raspy sound to a minimum ..out of these clips I think the outlaw sounds the deepest..and that at saying much

I dont know how they did it but ford managed to make the 5.0 sound even worse. these all sound raspy, its not a quality sound.
