    I use the Powertank CO2 system and nothing beats this by a mile. Will never go back to a air compressor..only have one as a back up and have never needed it. I can up air up all 6 tires(I have an Off grid trailer Expedition) and air up each tire in less than 30 seconds from 15psi to 35PSI while my friends take 10-30 minutes with their air compressors.

      Only downside is if you run out and didn't realize it. You have to fill them every so often where as an air compressor is always ready to go.

    6:35 That's a clever setup. Now I'm thinking...

    This video was super helpful! I never know how much to air down. Those valves are pretty cool!

    I use FasterFlate’s system paired with a powertank with zero issues. Definitely one of the fastest ways to air down and up.

    In a downtown environment! Online ordering an air machine just in case I need to air down to get out of it! Wish me FAVOR!

    Great video!! I go to the outer banks in NC....sand. The amount of power it takes to move the vehicle in an un-aired down situation in soft sand vs. an aired down....is huge!!! Another option for the non-pro off-roader is a cordless inflater! Not super quick but will get the job done! Plus you don't spend 4 or 5 bucks airing back up!!

    I just bought a 2HP, 24 litre (6 gallon?) direct drive compressor to mount on my ute. It'll be hooked up to an inverter and will run off the solar/battery setup. Great for tyres, and using it as a blower for cleaning dust out of hard-to-get-at places. Might even be good enough to spray some paint or rust-proofing at a pinch.

    That reminds me, I still need to buy some hose to finish building my own 4 tire inflator/deflator. The hose is the "expensive" part. Since the tires I currently have won't survive being aired down, I have some time.

    I use the J.T. Brooks Tire Deflators Pro. They're screw on deflators with PSI markings on them so you can adjust them on the go easily unlike the style shown in this video. My buddy uses the ARB style that pulls the valve core and we end up airing down in almost exactly the same amount of time. Difference is I get to stand around and relax while he spends the entire time bent over. I like the idea of the Faster Flate style systems for balancing the PSI, but putting those hoses away every time and storing that extra bulk kills it for me.

    Bro I miss the skiboard videos and Sunday Gunday. Do you think you’ll ever be doing any of those again?

    I use Morrflate product so far was good. ARB is nice but little expensive and I don't want to keep ilunder hood as too hot already there ans compressor is getting a very hot under loads plus heat from engine. The bed truck I could not find a spot that easy to access.

    Great vid, Talon! Can Fasterflate do different pressures for your Revel (50 front/70 back)?

    • @TalonSei
      @TalonSei  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes just by hooking up 2 tires at once instead of 4

    What offroad pressure do you typically run on the SatVan?

    • @TalonSei
      @TalonSei  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Typically a little more than mentioned here. 25-20 is a good start but then I typically don't go any lower than 15 with the van because of the extra weight.

      Typically 25-20 but definitely no lower than 15 because of the extra weight.

      @@TalonSei wow. That's low for that heavy van. I was thinking 30 front and 45 back. Normally 46 / 70

    The system you use, what’s the run time? Some of the pumps can only run for a few minutes at a time before burning out or popping fuses
