    You're a great teacher Christian, but you're a bit of a comedian as well, which helps to keep your students "loose and relaxed." I've learned a lot of new techniques in the short time that I've been watching your tutorials on TH-cam, so thank you! ⚡🎹🎹🎹⚡

    Love this style of teaching, playing and creative process in figuring out what is being taught and how to explain it. Can get lost in this kind of knowledge and practice for hours on end. The 80% psychology of playing, incredible insight. Demigod transcendence in the minor from Christian, thank you sir.

    Hello Christian, thanks for the amazing lessons. I have been wondering for a while how to use the pedal in slow blues. It seems that you use it quite a bit in this lesson. It would be great if you could make a video that focuses on pedal use in (slow) blues.

  • @carstencronecaroc27
    @carstencronecaroc27 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    It would be awesome with some sheet music for this lesson.
    Is that possible?
    Also a transcription of what you play right at the start of the video. Thanks.

    Hi, what's your advice on practicing when tired? Is it important to practice in spite of tiredness? How to maintain a high quality of practice while tired?

    • @ChristianFuchsBlues
      @ChristianFuchsBlues  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tiredness is a killer for anything in my experience, depending on it's intensity. I had a lot to do with sleeplessness in my life. The only way is to get to the root of the tiredness and fix it. Bad learning with a weakened system!

    I’m somewhat of a beginner with the blues playing can you be really slow and detailed with the fingering for the runs such as you were with this lesson…really like your lessons and would love to see some actual blues standards to incorporate some songs into the blues format

    • @ChristianFuchsBlues
      @ChristianFuchsBlues  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A good option is the slow down function in TH-cam. It let's you slow down a video down to 25 %.

      I always wonder how people ask for something, they already got it in front of them 🙈

    • @Marlene-ou5ol
      @Marlene-ou5ol 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@eddiebitmail These flashing notes in green appear and disappear so fast, even at low speed it is almost like trying to follow a machine gun. You have seen everything and have seen nothing. Was it a G or a A? You stop, you write down two or three notes (for one hand), start over again... Headache guaranteed. If someone tells me: " You play C and A together, then D and A together while playing A- C- E with the left hand', I will memorize it instantly. But I can not memorize sequences of flashes on the screen. So at the end, you come back to your keyboard and try to play more or less by ear. It sounds bluesy but it is not exactly what was played.

  • @jazzhancock8221
    @jazzhancock8221 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I like the way he plays. However I think that he would be much better if he were to call out his notes when he's trying to teach licks or whatever else.
    Perhaps, you may not be in front of a keyboard at times and you would just like to write down the notes and play them later.. sheet music would be even better.Thus, it's discouraging for some students!

    • @vladojko2
      @vladojko2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do not agree. This style of lessons is really efficient and interesting, it keeps me glued to screen + piano already for months. Sheet music = boring. Improvisation = bread and butter of blues, rock and other popular genres.
