Man Christan, the last part of that lesson, is a Lesson by itself! Like that walking bass.

As always, you save the best for last. The final several minutes with the stride left hand, walking bass, and fat chords in the right hand is wonderful. This is the real s#%t Thank you for sharing. I am an American who grew up on hard rock, and the sounds you explore here are very evocative of the intro to one of my favorite songs..."Locomotive Breath" by Jethro Tull.

Out of Captain Canada's league. Watched it twice anyway just to hear Captain Berlin and laugh at some of his comments. Being a critic I hate almost everything by nature.
Christian is my go to piano teacher. If the mean old lady piano teacher I had when I 9 years old had taught like Christian I wouldn't have taken a 40 year hiatus from the instrument.

    Fantastic!
This formula where you share tips, tricks and anecdotes are the hallmark of your greatest recordings (in my opinion). This pattern is present in both the slow blues series as well as the cocktail jazz series (just to mention a few examples). Keep up the good work! I also like it when you take a few moments of uninterupted playing to give us a sample of how great it can sound when using the techniques you teach. Many thanks!

Great lesson. I am using both your a minor lessons for the song "How Long Has This Been Going On" (Ace). Moving back and forth from am to em and using your tips to replace the guitar solo. It sounds really good, IMHO. I just play the chords of the song (a min 7, e min 7, d min 7, e min 7 for the chorus, then F maj 7 G maj 7 for the chorus. Then back and forth between A and E in the bass hand while using some of your ideas for the solo.

not really anything to do with the (nice) lesson - but been meaning to ask for a while, what digipiano are you using for these vids?
