Whew.. This was a monstrous effort I would GREATLY Appreciate a LIKE and a COMMENT as it really helps out - thanks in advance Have you tried building on just a single tile, and if so - how did it turn out? Q&A including links to MODS and much more in the description down below! And extra content and often early-access to new videos on my Patreon: www.patreon.com/infrastructurist Hope you all have a great Weekend! Much love, Infra
It turned out great. As a smoll tropical island dweller (1.19 km island, in Maldives) I enjoy these kinds of builds. Not so sure about usage of Coconut Trees near concrete though, I haven't seen them used as such in real life yet but in my home it fills the ground underneath with it's roots. It is so strong, during the last tsunami it was the only ones left standing in the sea shore. Would enjoy another episode of this with the detailing and final touch. Also, would definitely play on this map, if you upload it to workshop as a map. The beaches look awesome. Good Luck!
You’re one of the best CS builders of all time and I enjoy watching your videos so so much. This video must’ve taken a lot of time and effort to create and it shows. You’ve created yet another masterpiece!!!
part 2 with more detailing would be great! Maybe you could try creating a small golf course area as well since rich ppl love golf and it fits the Florida vibe you're going for
i put about 1200 hours into c:s because i watched giant project videos that were very beautiful and i felt inspired to build a city just like them. i must say my cities never even touched builds like akruas's aurelia. i was very discouraged and often deleted all of my new cities within half an hour of creating them. however, after watching this video, i logged onto steam, downloaded probably a thousand assets from the workshop, launched c:s and finally created something i was proud of. thank you for making this video :D you're very talented
I would enjoy watching you add a harbour for private yachts, cruise ships, and pleasure boats. This island reminds me of Bermuda or Bahamas, and those places are teeming with boats. Maybe a small airport, if it’ll fit.
This is the first video I've seen by you, and I gotta say, I'm impressed. I like your world-building, how you follow reality and give extra space and vehicles to buildings that don't actually need it, but it makes the city even more beautiful.
1-tile cities is definitely my favorites. They feel so alive, like if you truly care about every single cim living here. I wish to see some built in mountain theme, like on top of snowy cliff, or in dry canyon.
WOW! Blown away by the attention to detail and the flow of how this video went! I really enjoyed watching how buildings and structures were set up, reminded me of quite a few places I saw while traveling down the coast towards Miami, FL a few months back!
That was a very nice little (although it isn't really small with this amount of details ;) ) project! My favourite part of the video were the transittion scenes at 1:21:35 . I just love high society single family homes neighborhoods :D Thank you for this nice video and the effort you put into this!!!! And to your question, i would not mind to see another episode on this island, but only if you want to and have fun with it :-)
This was genuinely so enjoyable. My first video of yours and I'm hooked. If you can, for sure do a second episode of this. The algorithm likes. I'd like to see more public infrastructure and maybe more historical snippets in the city. More trams! Love the vid
This is truly amazing! You have a remarkable talent, my friend. Watching this is incredibly satisfying and inspiring. It's a true testament to your creativity and artistic abilities.
I absolutely loved everything about this video. The gameplay is really fun and the way you explain mods you are using and how you tell the story of this city with the building choices you made. Also the editing is really good, the music you used really fits in with the vibe. I'm thrilled to check your other videos. And in regards to a continuation of this, you should do it. ❤
I watched the whole video, it was so nice and satisfying. Mid-way through I decided to take a nap and actually dreamt that I was a student in your city, lol!
That's was awesome! It's nice for the eyes (except for the general shot at the end because of the fps, lol), thanks for the video It's a pity that you didn't walk around the city by sim..
You might as well have done it how you wanted it, and stopped pretending to be using the actual in game budget. I don't care that you cheat, just don't try to make it seam lie you aren't. You're great at designing cities that is why I watch you.
Obligatory comment to boost engagement! Seriously, though. This was an incredible build! I can't believe I watched the whole thing through -- amazing job!
Believe it or not, thats actually correct size coronation for that fire truck. Its calles an Isuzu Elf, one of the smallest fire engines in Japan, used primarily in smaller mountain side villages.
You asked where this island might be located and just this morning I was reading the news about Atlantis popping up in the Mediteranian Sea, due to lower sealevels; now it is supposedly so hot the sea is evaporating 😂 although it is clearly connected to the Atlantic ocean. So it's probably a hoax, but a funny one and it was the first thing that came to mind. I have been watching some of your videos since WhatDarrenPlays has mentioned you in his latest stream of his CS playthrough on TH-cam. We (chat) made a suggestion that, according to himself, surpassed his knowledge of how the game works and made you an example of someone who does. He wasn't wrong! And because I love challenges this has been my favourite video so far. Yes, ofcourse I subscribed.
I've spent many years watching cities and skylines content and have somehow completely missed your stuff. But now that I've watched a couple of videos I really genuinely think you may be one of, if not the, best CS content creators. I love the super detailed and creative approach you take, and I've never seen anyone do that layering technique which I think is genius. Massive fan now!
Okay, This BUT lots of islands. Each focused on different aspects like an island for fishing, one for industry, one for financial downtown, etc. just 1 square size. Each built to sustain the other. No outside connections
Toggle the fourth button on the bottom line of you road selector. like elevation or ground or bridge, the one on the same line as anarchy it will remove those trees from your road segments as you build. hope this helps
Sim city 3000 had a building editor where you could create any city building with props and apply to your city. This game really needed something like this.
I’m not sure if there’d be underground parking on most isles especially with shallow water right next to downtown. That and the lack of above ground parking and alley access ways between all the density makes for improvement next time 👍
I don't know maybe the cozy hotel to that mountain really need more details and it's lacking harbors like the other comments mentioned anyway really need part 2 of this, the city is really looking majestic gives me a tropico 6 vibe, el presidente? 😁😁😁😁
this is my first time seeing one of your videos and im not gonna lie the panel at the bottom of the screen taking up half of it during the speedbuild sections is pretty annoying lmao, I can't imagine playing for hours with half the screen unclickable when building!
Hahahaha, it's funny you mention that - I have just recently adjusted the panel settings so that it's a little wider, and less "tall", so I think you and I think a like! 😂
Whew.. This was a monstrous effort I would GREATLY Appreciate a LIKE and a COMMENT as it really helps out - thanks in advance

Really enjoying the longer videos
How is it possible, that you can build a skyscrapper over another building? Is it a bug?
TH-camrs start this trend. This guy takes it to the next level haha. Loved it!
Thanks a lot!

*Would love to see bike paths!*
The island is so small, you could bike everywhere. Especially in this nice weather.

I feel like the island would be somewhere near the Philippines or even the Maldives due to its size and density! 😄
Malé 🌚
@@Yoghurtmale8 tiny thinner roads and more all high density with few trees, yes, it could be a Male'!

Amazing city build. Very entertaining and relaxing to watch.
Anyone else think the blank island with the tropical theme looks like the auto generated islands that you’d get on Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis?
Hahaha - I just watched the first two jurassic parks movies recently, so I can imagine a few Velociraptors lurking in the tall grass!
Great series! Would be cool to see a small carrier airstrip
Thanks a lot - and great suggestion, a tiny airport! ☺
Great Video!
Also thanks for using the correct map of india at 0:20

i feel it would need a shipping port since most of its amenities would come from sea imports, there is no place for farming infrastructure
That temperate climate meme at the beginning hit home with the summer we have in Europe 😂❤

I love how the One Tile City Challenge is basically the "Sim City 2013 experience"
Sim city 3000 had a building editor where you could create any city building with props and apply to your city. This game really needed something like this.
I’m not sure if there’d be underground parking on most isles especially with shallow water right next to downtown. That and the lack of above ground parking and alley access ways between all the density makes for improvement next time 👍

or costa rica

criminals, or just people who parked illegally.

The real crime is building rivers that are completely unrealistic.

This feels almost too realistic lol good job
