Your talk of the sub-bass roll off and relating it to a speaker in a sealed enclosure took me back to high school. 😁 Had 2 friends with awesome Car Audio systems who personified the "Sealed vs Ported" Subwoofer box discussion. Great Video!
@@TheAudioNomad-bj4ipback then I preferred the friend with the ported box. But he actually took the time to sound-deaden and crossover all his speakers and he also had a time delay for the speakers in the back seat. So it was the better sounding system. However, my current home theater subwoofer is sealed and it’s been working great so far! I would probably say that it depends on your application, but I think I still generally prefer Ported boxes. 😊
