Byakuren is a brawler character. Buddhist styles favor melee attacking and Byakuren is a walking embodiment of that. Her attacks in general pack a hell of a punch and work very well for pinning your opponent down and beating the crap out of them. However at the cost of that her default speed is kinda slow, she has a goofy dash, and her strongest attacks need some setup.

It's stories like these where you remember that any problem in Gensokyo can solved by accusing everyone of being the culprit and beating the crap put of them until it works.
I like how Kokoro calls Byakuren a thief, but then you notice that Byakuren in this lacks her cape from UFO. And the best part?
Miko has one, despite not having a cape back in TD, so the probability of Miko having stolen Byakuren's cape in secret is there, lol.
Also, I cannot be the only one who noticed that Byakuren's... generous bust is bouncing up and down in her idle annimation, now can I?

I could be wrong on this one, but my interpretation of Byakuren's ending, and some other endings, is as follows:
Byakuren's ending has her telling Kokoro that you can control your own emotions from within, but leaves it at that. It's just a lecture, showcasing that it's possible. Kokoro is left to determine the means on her own, creates a makeshift mask, but it doesn't work out well, since she still goes out of control.
Miko's ending then has Miko presenting a newly made Mask of Hope, designed to be the means to reach Byakuren's end. Miko provides the tool, but gives little else, so the mask isn't easily incorporated. It doesn't mesh well with the rest of Kokoro's being, despite filling the same role, because there's no control over the emotion. It's just floating there, so Kokoro's still not in balance.
Mamizou's ending kind of synthesizes the two, in that she insists Kokoro use Miko's mask of hope as a base, and fill it with her own emotions that she's told to learn through observation and imitation of others during combat. Mamizou provides more of the means to achieve what Byakuren was talking about, and gives Kokoro instructions on how to properly incorporate a new mask, rather than throwing a single tool at her and expecting her to figure it out independently. Once it's brought together with clear instructions on what to learn, we get Kokoro's path, which involves her learning all these different expressions and how to recognize her own emotions.
So all the endings, I think, did occur. Byakuren and Miko's just failed because they neglected to teach Kokoro how to actually do anything, and expected a lecture or a single tool to be sufficient in correcting the problem.
Crystal Elemental apparently Kokoro old mask of hope was in Koishi possession. While Byakuren teaching make sense, it’s just she doesn’t know how to achieve it. Miko made the mask, a brand new one, but it was way too effective for that purpose and it makes her almost erased as a Youkai. So Mamizou actually the one who helped Kokoro develop her own emotion there?

Also, there's something you might want to mention in your next video: When a character has a blue shield around them from being stunned, they are vulnerable to Spellcards and Last Words. If they have a red shield, they are completely invincible.
As much as I like Byakuren as a character, that one line gets to me so much.
Pretty Sure Mamizou's forward attack that bonked you so many times is her just raising her leg to wind up, before swinging her bottle downwards. Even if she was using her leg, it would've been an axe kick, not a roundhouse kick.
And I hate to spoil your fun, but "article" can mean "object", "thing" or "unit", as well, or it can refer to a paragraph or clause in a document, like it does in Miko's spell: Discernment "Laser of Seventeen Articles". I'd be impressed if Miko also authored an "Infinite-article constitution" though.

Ah, my main at last! Byakuren is kinda wonky but works really well when you do long strings and combos. She is better in Urban Legend in Limbo, but in HM she can still do very well.

In the marisa match, I see Yuugi. I thought the Oni in former hell couldn't come up...
It's less that they can't come up and more that they don't want to. Oni left the surface world essentially because they were tired to being tricked and killed by humans so they went the the old hell. After that the old hell became a place dedicated to nothing but vengeful spirits and oni who like nothing more that drunken parties and feats of super strength, so after many years of that the surface world would become boring to them
The exception being these fights on the surface. In Marisa's ending she actually comments how it's weird that Yuugi's on the surface both wondering why she's here and wondering why more people aren't worried about her. Yuugi just responds that she likes to watch the fights and pretty much everyone's an equal when you're a spectator, no one would raise an eyebrow to see an oni in the crowd.
All routes are canon. Kokoro's just trying as many solutions as possible.

It's a vajra. It's a sort of Buddhist ritual object that she powers up and tosses as a projectile or as you saw, powers it up to swing like a sword.

I was just confirming that they didn't work. I thought just maybe I could pull it off if I got it before the spell started, I was wrong.
He's got them, so might as well try, right? Also, a few of the last words, like Miko's, Ichirin's, and Nitori's don't depend on hitstun and thus can hit bosses during spellcards.
