Touhou 12.3: Hisoutensoku - Sanae (No Commentary)

And now it's time for our third fighting “game”. Though... in all honesty I hesitate to call it a new fighting game cause... well it's not really that “new”. The change from Scarlet Weather Rhapsody to Hisoutensoku didn't do much aside from adding five-ish new characters (I personally count Meiling as new compared to the way she was tacked onto Immaterial and Missing Power) and just making attacks smoother and prettier.
Sanae is fairly average as a fighter but she has some attributes that are completely unique to her character. First off she doesn't fly like anyone else rather she creates a wind storm that moves her around. This both means she can only move in a straight line but the wind can also move around some of her attacks she can set up. Secondly two of her combos involve summoning Suwako or Kanako to the field, while powerful they are the only attacks I've seen with a cool down to them.

I feel like suwako's last spell was a foreshadow to hopeless masquerade onward

I don't think you are very aware of the changes from the Scarlet Weather to hisoutensoku. Visually, the game didnt change much
Then there's the technical stuff
A lot of the characters were buffed or nerfed,
the damage system was changed as well as a few weathers,
the movement and High Jump cancels were made to be smoother and more responsive.
The spells were nerfed too, in additiion to more spells and skills, and systemcards.
Some moves changed differently how some characters are played in SWR to Hisoutensoku.

MissingnoTheGreat fighting hair cut.
Was it long before? Guess it's more aerodynamic. Fighting in long hair is the hair equivalent to fighting in heels.

1:04 Should be "Versus" not "Verses"
2:23 Should be "the" instead of "he"
4:15 Either the B in but should be capitalized or the period should be a comma
18:39 This isn't a typo, but it's more like Blazing Star than Stardust Reverie...
33:58 I think the H in huh should be capitalized
Marisa Kirisame the 2nd Thanks for the fixes. This is saying something that there's still that many screw ups after me and my editor go through it. Though I wanted to mention, to your forth note when I compared it to Stardust Reverie I specifically meant the version she pulls off in the other fighters where she hops on her broom and charges across the screen at you... Which, to be fair is kinda like Blazing Comet as well.

How did I get the sound effects? There should be no way it doesn't have it? Do you have the SFX bar muted by any chance?
i have checked the bars from the option settings ,got BGM at max and SE (SFX) at max, but only the BGM seems to be working
