I totally understand the "instagram" van life. I live in less than 100 square feet with a very big dog and it is never EVER clean. Epic! When you yelled What’s Up Weirdos across the lake my eyes welled up with tears , my fist went into the air and I yelled YES!! At the top of my lungs. Scared the crap out of my neighbors dog in the process but …… it brought it all back to me baby! Been there since your beginnings. You are the King of Van Life ! Truth!
I live in a tiny home that is not much bigger than a van. It is really difficult to not be sloppy on the regular when you’re trying to live in such a small space. I think the people whose van looks pristine must not travel or live with any belongings or they are weekend warriors. Especially with a pet. I’m my case 80% of my narrow pathway of space is taken up with food and water dishes, and cat toys 😂
Keep it real, it is what it is. I'm a clean freak and yup I wake up with a dirty coffee cup, dirty clothes on the floor, dirt on the floor from coming in the van the night before, and 2 full pee bottles. Cruzie's grumpy morning look is so cute. Question for you in one day of filming how many times do you stop pull a u-turn or backup to capture something you drove by. Canadian scenery always has a wow factor! We have a lot of beauty here as well but it is so massive there. Absolutely gorgeous. I hope to make it there in my van one day. Happy trails!

This video is bang on Chrome. I don’t live full time in my van, but I do spend months at a time when I am traveling. You are SOOOO right about going to bed and waking up in a messy rig; dishes, clothes, floor not swept, etc…LOL. So many van life videos show these pristine rigs,,,that is #1 clue they are phonies. Like the videos with a beautiful woman claiming to live full time in her van. Hair that looks like she just came from the salon, make-up and a van that not only looks spotless inside, but clearly has no wear and tear at all. I am not as trusting as you Chrome, I think it’s fairly easy to spot a full timer vs someone trying to make money off a niche by faking it.
Chrome, heat the skillet before adding whatever ingredients you are cooking. you know the skillet is ready when a drop of water sizzles an dances. will solve the sticking problem

Lol its hard to have a clean vehicle when you have a dog. My ShihTzu and I are together 24/7 and even though I am a home dweller, when I am in my car he is too. I have the same dust on my dash.
I follow lots of channels. My biggest pet peeve is fake wake up videos. They wake up, set the camera, go back to bed then pretend to wake up. Just grab your camera when you wake up and say "good morning". 🤦♀️
To each their own, but I couldn't enjoy my morning until I at least neatened up my camper van and DEFINITELY cleaned myself up for the day. Only then, could I enjoy the rest of my day. Not shaming you, or anybody else, but that's just how I am. Always enjoy you and Cruise's adventures!

I'm glad you saved your pin for yourself. Too many people post locations which cause great locations to be overrun. I don't fit making eggs, use butter in the pan. The eggs are less likely to stick to the pan.
Maybe, most van dwellers wake up slowly, brew their own coffee ☕️, and relax, drink coffee and soak up the sunrise instead of jumping into the seat and driving off to Horton’s!!!!😮

Funny thing...I just bought the coolest ice cube tray system...sometimes you just want some cold sun tea on a hot day! And I love my outdoor shower set up (it's mounted to my trailer but can move if need be).
