I remember the movie scaring me a lot toward the end. The whole world of randomness they fall into where everyone almost dies because of how unpredictable the world is. What scared me more as a kid was the purple tornado at the end which the sister almost gets sucked into. What kicked it off was when the boy says "everything is disappearing up there!" The whole idea of being sucked up and turned into nothing always scared me as a child.
@John Kirklin Davis yeah, I felt like that would have happened at some point. Not gonna lie, little excited for what he has next. Anyway have a great day and take care dude.
I used to love the movie as a child, but when I watched it I always had this tingly feel telling me that something feels off, or in some scenarios in the movie it made me feel like everybody was going crazy. Maybe I feel weird because it’s the fact that it’s a giant cat that can speak fluent English.
Nah it's not magic. This is actually a memory, a traumatic one. Their abusive father comes back and kidnaps them, their coping mechanism is to look back on it as a big cat and it all being magic. My guess is it's the little girls memory as the irony would be that the serious professional one is so traumatized she has to use magic to cope
That sounds like the Same idea as monsters inc . That sully and Mike are actually kidnappers and boo perceives them as colorful monsters , but it’s actually the patterns on their clothes ha.
The way the town looks and the way the people dress, it reminds me of the town in Edward Scissorhands. Unatural, reminiscent of the 1950s American style, but it feels uncanny like those nuclear test towns. The people's mannerisms in Edward Scissorhands (because I haven't, and continue to refuse to watch The Cat in the Hat) seem off as well. I thought lead poisoning but after this theory, I may have to review that.
This movie gave me a genuine anxiety attack as a child. I can’t even joke about this, the movie legitimately traumatized me and I remember every single detail about it. Now I’ve returned, and I’m seriously regretting my choices. My chest is tightening. I’m currently defying my my fight or flight response. I’m legitimately frightened. Holy shit.
That's funny cause I used to watch this movie alot as a kid until 1 day I had this traumatizing nightmare about it. I still remember the nightmare and ever since then I've never watched this movie again.
I love how the the theorizer is able to talk about anything livht harted and make it sound dark without needing to change the story or add or remove anything and ensted just changes how he describes it. Side note I would want theorizer to make a theory or a video on something Dr Suess but he has to ryme the hole time. Maybe he could do it for a video on the *thicc* plot series were even if the comments dont ryme he needs to make it ryme while he is reading it somehow?
I always had a theory about The Cat. You know-how Christmas has a demon known as Krampus a demon who kidnaps kids to scares them into being nice, not naughty. Well, what if The Cat is like Krampus except he is there to teach kids responsibility and how to have some fun instead of following a set of rules. We already understand why Conrad needed to learn responsibility, that was the main reason why he showed up in the first place, the second reason is because of Sally. Sally wasn't invited to Denise's birthday party and was confused about why she wasn't invited. It is simple why she wasn't invited it's because Sally is a killjoy. The Cat planed the entire invited knowing what was going to happen and how it was going to go down. He was even there to also protect the kids and Joan from Larry Quinn because he knew he was a bad person. Just like how Krampus goes out his way to teach a butch kids a lesson so does The Cat in The Hat. That's just a theory anyway.
Or perhaps her views on their religion? She doesn't seem to have much problem with elephants in general, though it could be said that their religion is The Tiny Speck.
/theorizer succumbs into laughter at around the 10 minute mark/ I think you need to take those something for that iron deficiency you were mentioning earlier, perhaps.
Not much bothers me. I've even taken in the occasional "adult film" in my days. However, the food orgy at the end of Sausage Party disturbed me so much, that I had to turn it off. Something about food having sex made me feel SUPER uncomfortable lol
im starting to feel like this is to test how well the theorizer can make people believe his theories based on the manipulation of words and pace, and the theorizer is slowly descending into madness, probably going to adapt into some sort of lore, maybe intersecting with conniving puffins in some way, have we ever thought about who the theorizer is, not his real true idea, but who is persona is? I think his persona's identity is the way to figure out these ramblings end.
We watched this in kindergarten and I still remember how my teacher paused it multiple times to look at us and make sure we didn’t get any on the jokes that I now understand, this movie terrified me and I can’t believe this was approved lmao
at first when he was saying its a movie while wheezing as if he found the cure to cancer, i was very confused. i thought he had finally gone off his rocker.
Well theorizer is a scp sciencists and movie is probably an alternate universe / a pocket universe projected by a tv or channel (open to anyone). Cat is a reality warper, children are powerfull entities able to govern that universe. All other people, objects are made by the 3. Scp foundation of that universe doesn't exist, can't reach it.
The town could be a dystopian experiment like the town in The Giver, but with different drugs and a slightly altered experiment. Scientists in northern Montana could have built this set to experiment with more frowned upon drugs like LSD or acid, or maybe going as far as DMT, with the cat as a inside agent documenting the kids live reactions and mental capacities to their environment around them collapsing in on itself. The mother and the cat could be the kids real parents put into the simulation to test their abilities under extreme levels of stress. Or it could he another instance of the truman show and this is some sort of live entertainment for the rest of the world and everyone around the kids are actors. Or maybe its just some fever dream-like movie we all for some reason remember
Couldn't be DMT... with that, the people would be dead, not hallucinating on their feet. DMT is something that needs to be microdosed, as even microdoses are potent enough to kill, which is why with DMT you're supposed to do it with another person or in a group, so they can force air into your lungs (It renders the user unconscious and unable to breathe) There would be corpses everywhere lol
To me the creepiest part of the actual cat from the original book is when the fish tells the cat to get out of their house and the cat straight up says nah I don't wanna, I like it here, and like, holy shit, you don't get to just decide that stuff on whim, you know? It's still *their house,* just how much would the cat decide he would get to just *do* because he feels like it? I know to some I might seem to be overreacting but reading the book to my toddler years ago I seriously ended up getting "the rapist who just hasn't decided he feels like raping anyone yet" vibes o.o
I can honestly imagine your creative process here. Just you sitting alone in a dark room, at a desk with notes and a microphone, regularly wiping off your cold sweat. Shuddering as you speak into the microphone. The room is strewn about with annotated photographs and torn notes. A dozen empty medicine bottles piled beneath the desk. The door locked and your family barging against it, trying to get you the help you need.

I constantly wish Theorizer would get his Iron deficiency under control, I'm starting to get worried.

Holy shit.

Yeah.
Yeah.

Everyone's like "he finally snapped!" What did y'all expect he had to analyse this mf movie n make smthn of it
I always had a theory about The Cat.
Makes sense to me.
"it's a movie! It's not real! These kids are paid actors!" Me: yes...

We should have known that all this time The Cat In The Hat was really the kids' father in a cat costume.
im starting to feel like this is to test how well the theorizer can make people believe his theories based on the manipulation of words and pace, and the theorizer is slowly descending into madness, probably going to adapt into some sort of lore, maybe intersecting with conniving puffins in some way, have we ever thought about who the theorizer is, not his real true idea, but who is persona is?
DMT is something that needs to be microdosed, as even microdoses are potent enough to kill, which is why with DMT you're supposed to do it with another person or in a group, so they can force air into your lungs (It renders the user unconscious and unable to breathe)
There would be corpses everywhere lol
Acid and lsd are the same thing and they dont cause hallucinations like that but visual distortions and introspection
