What if Flint's mom is Chester's daughter ? That would explain why Flint is so smart and why Flint resembles both his mom and Chester. Plus , Chester being Flint's grandfather would explain why he is also jealous of him . Not only did his grandson find a way to feed most , if not all the world's population with delicious food , but he also managed to do that in a very short timeframe compared to Chester . Basicaly , Chester is mad that his grandkid made a much better invention than him faster .
This would also explain why Chester daughter was so smart to becuase her father Chester is a genius as well so flint being this smart becuase of that actually makes sense
Wouldn't the ages not quite play out since Chester seems to be a similar age to Fran like I don't think he's more than 15 years older than her rember he looked a lot closer to Frans age when we see him on tv wich is the time where she would be alive maybe if he was as old as he is in the second movie in the flashback I would belive he was her farther. I personally think Fran cheated on Chester with Tim Lockwood. Also personally I think Flint is soo smart because of how his mother encouraged him to work hard and we see that he keeps thinking of different inventions and a lot of then fail more than they succeed he is just very stubborn.
There were a couple scenes where Chester very clearly one-ups and condescends to Flint, which I think is proof that Chester is clearly jealous that Flint was able to do something he couldn't. I mean, instead of just making his own Fldminstr, he resorted to stealing it, as if it was his only option.
I lost him at the Barb being Flint's mother stuff and the coffee making humans want to crossbreed, but the idea of ANY living livestock being what he needs to fuel his food bars makes perfect sense. Everything else was spot-on, even Flint's mom being a business partner. A lot of the background references feel like they're subtly implying this. Maybe not the stuff with Flint's mom, but it's believable enough considering the rest of the proven theorizing.
@officialteamsombie honestly I though fran (flints mum) being barb was personally the most believable because of how she cares for Flint and how humanoid she looks and it had already been astablished that she has a human brain.

Fun fact: in the Hungarian dub, Chester V is called Chester Wayne. And another fact: also in the Hungarian dub barb doesn't call herself an ape.. she (and Chester in the commercial) calls herself an apewoman (it sounds logical in Hungarian) that very much supports this theory and could prove Chesters pure hatred towards flint's mother
Chester V is an EXTREMELY realistic and relatable portrayal of a Narcissist parent aswell. That was a part of why I Loved the second movie. Because I had never seen such a good representation of a Narcissist who the main character GENUINELY loved and was seen as a wonderful person publicly before Completely stabbing Flint in the back and Showing his true colors, or lack there of. Hit very close to home.
You know the evidence must be sound when the thought train runs at full speed from "Why is the mayor so fat after one month?" to "Cloudy is a prequel to Soylent Green" and it all still makes sense.
@@MattStMarie-bm5sq Wild conspiracy theories and gaslighting aren't the same. Gaslighting is Person A telling Person B something that is very contradictory to what Person B believes they know to be true and then Person A proceeds to chip away at Person Bs intelligence and self-esteem until they decide that maybe they were wrong this whole time. There is a sense of power imbalance. A conspiracy theorist believes you to be close in intelligence to themselves only not as informed as they are on this particular issue. They will lay out all the information they have and hope you connect the dots as they have towards the same conclusion. Even if you end up not agreeing with them or their evidence, the journey is usually at least entertaining.
A few small things I thought of 1. Chester very well could have lied around the un sending him And more importantly 2: sardines are apparently very nutrient dense, which would be an important factor in creating a food bar, which seems to be similar to a protein bar or some sort of meal replacement. Chester talks about wanting to change his recipes in the past to taste better (we see flavor crystals being added, and that this is the 8th version) so moving from a bad tasting, healthier sardine based food bar to a chemically better tasting varient I believe that swallow falls is a town owned completely by Chester, similar to fordlandia, as everyone there works in sardines, no other types of business seen. Another piece of evidence towards Chester controlling swallow falls, a reason for flints mom being in swallow falls, they could’ve been the manager of this sardine factory
I live in a rural island, a good part of our economy was the fishery. If you didn't fish you were part of the support of that sector. It's not unsurprising
The theorizer would totally be the one to start wearing tinfoil hats, and at first everyone thinks he’s crazy but like after a week it turns out actually there were in fact space lasers that could mind control you and he was the only one who figured out the truth.
You summed his channel up so well, his theories usually sound odd and unbelievable at first but once you listen to it in full you can really see the analytical genius in it.
I kept thinking that the mayor either drowned after eating his boat or he transformed into a giant monster and once Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 was filmed, he then barged in and started eating the living food and the growing just goes on and on and on. If only they’d decided to do a 3rd cloudy with a chance of meatballs. Maybe that was why (in the plot) they didn’t. Because Mayor Shelbourne came back and literally ate everything.
During the credits of the first film, you can see that he survived and got arrested. I don’t know if this was confirmed by the creators, so make what you will of this.
I don’t know if anyone also thinks this. One thing I always seem to strangely admire about the two CWACOM Movies, is how effectively creepy they make their main villains to be. The Mayor’s final huge change at the end was always enough for me to feel grossed out. I can’t explain how, but it it just becomes so uncanny. Disturbing even. Chester is an even more effective example. The way he moves, the hidden darkness behind the radiant positivity. Both movies have a unique touch to it. That’s all I can say.
Body horror has always freaked me out. Like foreign objects being swallowed or being force fed to where my gut feels like it's stretching and as a kid his characters defeat freaked me out so bad. Like in the end eating his own raft, uncontrollably so because it's insinuating he is gonna eat it until there is no boat and he will be uncontrollably chewing until he drowns
you forgot the steps between straight to the mic and hitting record: repeating the script/outline/whatever multiple times getting more insane because he kept forgetting to actually hit record probably due to either the fever or the actual insanity that this theory isn't 100% bs and there is some plausibility to a lot of it

@@dumbloafofbread No, not really. MatPat has a more surface level crazy that is more goofy and we can all relate with at times, The Theorizer seems to have a deeper crazy that isn't just a running gag and has been festering for longer, combined with doing way more objectively crazy theories for years. Matpat has alien dogs, The Theorizer has an entire series on how powerful and evil Mort (from the Madagascar movies and King Julian Netflix series) is, along with a series analyzing the characters from SpongeBob and theorizing Patrick Star is an evil mastermind. Again, no. MatPat and The Theorizer are on different levels of crazy.
Chester wanted to play God, he wanted complete dominion on what he thought was rightfully his, the sacred double helix. But he was also obsessed with the human mind, this is why he transferred Fran's brain into Barb and why he crossbreeds primates, for breeding ingenuity. And this explains why the monkey thought translator works on Tim. Chester knew that crossbreeding lead to increased ingenuity and wanted a protégé from Fran's brilliance due to her unified field theory and Tim's crossbred primate brain. Flint was the key for Chester's success of God domination. But ultimately Chester grew Envious and Wrathful of Flint's genius due to his narcissism and wanted to destroy him mentally and physically. Colombia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation wrote a hell of a Villain.
I like how everyone made fun of flint for his inventions being wacky and having weird side effects, but his inventions being wacky and having weird side effects (the food coming alive) is what killed the main villian in the end.

If Chesters plans truly was to numb the minds of others for more control and to sell food bars, then he would of won having a machine that easily produces food and numbs their minds from it being mutated... So that cheeseburger eating him literaly saved the entire world. 😭

@TheTheorizer no. The others just seemed a little more far-fetched, in my opinion. The DreamWorks conspiracy with talking animals and Mort was pretty good though.
Maybe that's why the machine was mean to flint in the first movie but nice to him in the second, Chester had some control over the machine, maybe that's also how it knew to give itself protection with living food and peanut butter even though no one's ever been up there, chester maybe was going to destroy the town with the giant food and take the machine for himself afterwards, but didn't know flint was going to go up there and blow it up, making him loose control and needing to take the machine manually.
Him having control also explains the weird ways the food was falling, like with the fortune cookie and the cherry causing the wall to break, ain't no way the food machine knew the exact weight to destroy that wall to finish with a cherry, that definitely sounds like Chester was trolling. 😂
Yeah true, it could also explain how the food animals in the second movie were able to specifically see chesters mearch, the food machine was like nah, that man caused me too much problems, if you see anyone with this mearch it's on site.

Quick note to support the cross breeding idea, in the spin off show their is this creature called lobster clause which is pretty much swallow falls version of Santa but is a humanoid lobster creature who gets eaten every Christmas, (Note, this is going of memory from over a year ago but still might be something to look into)
Why not use clones idea? Works perfectly for me to explain how spin-offs are canon and why they were kinda instinctively engineer things. It's generations of clones with written brain. SW is control group.
This is actually insane, you see in a previous theory you claim that Doris and Petunia have human brains inside them, fast forward today and we see you have found another instance of an animated movie with a character housing a Human brain from a missing mother figure.

Also, rat birds. How are they alive? That comically small sardine in the giant fish bowl in the first movie seems to be sentient when it shouts for joy at perspective freedom, only to be snatched midair by a rat bird. You get more and more unhinged as these videos get released it is both simultaniously terrifying and entertaining oh also concerning I love and fear every second
I have a theory, I believe that Wonka is the same creature as marry poppins and IT. Wonka, in the new movie, he is shown prioritizing other people’s emotions, but only when he gains the opportunity to make them grow closer to him. He is shown to be wired on others whenever he causes on other person extreme emotions. If you look at the previous movies he chooses children as the people he interacts with. Why children, because they are the most influential and emotional people you could interact with. He is shown putting each child in an environment in which they are the most emotional. The overweight German boy caused him to create a world in which they could indulge in gluttony as much as possible. Which would cause an extreme reaction, emotions. He refused to intervene throughout the movie because the children’s emotions would keep developing and growing the longer he lets them indulge or react. Also he only acknowledged the children when it gave him the chance to bring out emotions from the children. In the second Charlie and the chocolate factory movie Wonka is shown being dispatched from reality. Almost if Earth meant nothing to him, this would further highlight his strange obsession with children. In the first Charlie and the chocolate factory movie he targets children’s imagination trying to bring out their emotions. There is always more, but I don’t have time to explain more.
The creature I am relating them all to is a type of alien that feeds off of human emotions and thoughts. Mary Poppins has shown to have “other worldly powers” and would only interact with humanity when she has the opportunity to receive energy from humans. She appeals to children, and their imagination. In fact she states that she only wishes to make people happy. She purposely targets people (mainly children) who are the most apt to follow and explore their imagination and emotions. Although my memory is a little fuzzy on her actions, if you look throughout her movies and book it suggests heavily that she is always trying to attain happiness (with a strong passion).
So you're telling me that Chester V wants to turn humanity into controllable and mindless furries, but also use them as livestock for foodbars? This truly is the Soylent Green prequel!!!!!

Dude, this is absolutely one of the best theories youve ever made. Its still insane to me that you can pull a whole conspiracy from a film that seems very surface level. This is like 10th time you've done that lol
Wow, I REALLY misread the community post you made for when this would be uploaded... But, that's fine! I've been really excited for the conclusion in this video since you first posted about it, and I can't wait to hear what you've found. Update; I've finished the video, and it was incredible, as always. But I'm wondering, did you mean to imply the food has secondary addictive properties aside from being tastier than normal food?
I want to know, why in the second movie, there are mainly fruit and vegetables that are alive. But we also see a giant cheeseburger and giant taco. Maybe, and stay with me here, the mayor mutated into the giant cheeseburger, he literally ate burgers earlier in the movie. And… “the cheeseburger are trying to swim, to attack lady liberty!” Is a quote in the movie. I always thought the mayor drowned, he mutated into a giant cheeseburger and finally ate Chester V. Oh my gosh, I’m mind blown
also, correct me if I'm wrong, there was only ONE cheesespider in the movie (until the ending where there were more being made). However, the only thing that breaks this theory is that the cheesepider was a female, and that the spider wasn't a threat, Live Corp was.
Don’t we see the mayor at the end of both movies though? At the end of the first movie, he ended up returning to his normal size and was arrested by Earl and at the end of the second movie, we see him sell hotdogs on the beach
@@generalcrab0009 That _really_ points to the food being the main reason for his form to swell so considerably. Without the mutant food constantly pumping whatever chemicals it contained into his body, it stopped affecting him and he returned to his normal self.
@@LordCrate-du8zm I never said the food didn’t cause him to swell up. I know it did. I was just saying to the original commenter that it’s impossible for the mayor to have mutated into the giant cheeseburger
i just wanted 2 point out that the fldsmdfr (The Food Machine) appears in the end battle in Into The Spiderverse, which was made by the same people. After seeing that i always theorised that Fisk got his dimensional travel technology, or at least part of it from fellow business mogul from across the country, Chester. Both owning massive technological cooperate conglomerations, it seems likely they would've traded technology or even collaborated with research. If u also take note in the second Cloudy while flint is working 4 Livecore he finally has access 2 labs and other equipment that rapidly increases his scientific development 2 the point where he is churning out 100's of ideas in just a six month span, most of which r successful (though not in his mind, due 2 the lack of acknowledgment from Chester), including prototypes for freeze rays, shrink rays, invisibility devices AND DIMENSIONAL PORTAL travel. Although initially only working with inanimate objects, he later tweaks it 4 sentient food in just a short amount of time, it could be easily assumed that it would only go on from there. The rest of his inventions Chester steals throughout the entire period and distorts them into weapons to sell, such as his Sentinels of Safety, which r riddled with Flint n his friends talents. Even though Flint can b clumsy n chaotic this mostly just goes 2 show how fast Flint can develop n adapt an idea, which could explain why the machine turned into a rocket since we know in a flashback he's been developing Flying Car technology which is near completed at that time since he can throw it together at the end of the film. Although naïve Flint is an incredible engineer, geneticist n programmer, (the AI he creates 4 the machine is obviously insanely advanced) he's 1 of my favourite characters of all time n it's kinda funny 2 think he set in motion everything that happened in the Spiderverse. i lub himb.
I actually have this even more insane theory about the food that develops on the island in the second film, specifically the berry population n it's social evolution, n how Chester's team on the island unknowing created one of their biggest downfalls. The berries n some of the other food r developed 2 the point of language and community interaction is a daily part of their life, so them evolving along side their dominate threat has created a society founded on a 2 sided war. Chester's team initially there 4 recovery with nothing much more than simple metal detectors, The Fldsmdfr immobile yet energised from the pool, with what little remains of it's initial protective troops, (the Flying Pizza, and the mobile Gummy Bears...Chicken...(which already in the first film the AI had evolved so much so that in just 1 month that it had already begun creating basic protective sentient living food)). Both sides with access 2 rapidly evolving technology Chester began retaliating the machines defences (Flint unknowing aiding in the attempted capture n destruction of his creations by inventing 4 Livecore) by sending numerous teams with increasing arms, with the machine drastically altering the environment and the weather (i have theorised that Flint has been working on other weather manipulation projects since accidentally launching the machine a. 2 try n maintain some control over his mistake b. 2 also impress his potential partner who is obsessed with weather. i can't vouch as 2 how successful he is as the evidence in the second film may just b a window mod not an actual weather mod.(although not entirely canon the end credits do show Sam n Flint manipulating weather in a lab which is something the did always talk about doing in film so it could b safe 2 assume that The Fldsmdfr AI would veer down that path quite easily)) while rapidly creating soldiers each generation more advanced than the last. So long and brutal has this war been that here have been dozens of human and food casualties, 24 battalions have been sent and lost n by the time Flint n his team arrive The Berries have evolved 2 the point of conducting out covert operations. Along with The Burger they demonstrate a number of tactical maneuvers and organise a number of highly advances scouting and attack missions. Berrie is a spy, not only that a high ranking 1, he knows 2 target the weaponised BSUSB n gain intel n retreat when he's overpowered, the rest is just in the film. ALSO the tomato is the MOST powerful being in that universe, i can elaborate but not here. it is all insane but it's fun c:
If Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Wall-e weren't from different companies I would say that they are connected. Overpopulation, humans consumed as food, massive people.
I love how with every video of yours I can watch you descend into madness all over again. You my friend are trapped in a never-ending cycle, a cycle which you don't even seem to want to escape from
i chose the right time to open up youtube, huh. ngl, this theory has a lot of flaws (e.g. the power grid would have no logical influence on the FLDSMDFR becoming a rocket; earl probably did actually hate flint, but it was probably a "love-hate for the town goofball" kind of thing; the section on flint's mom is pure speculation and the liv corp logo looks absolutely nothing like the floral pattern on the mother's dress, the fact they're both orange is just a coincidence. actually the whole theory falls apart when you start with flint's mother, which is rare because usually when you cook you end up having high probability of being right but this time it was really erroneous aside from the basic concept.), but i believe the basic concept after seeing the food bar in flint's hands and hearing the quotes by chester v. i wouldn't be surprised if the second film ret-conned a few things to set that plotline up. after watching the video, i give this theory a 5/10. basic concept is probably true and is a really good theory, but it entirely falls apart after you start talking about flint's mom; there is basically no evidence supporting the theory by that point and its roots are all assumptions, anything drawn from those assumptions are purely coincidental. either way, it's nice to watch another theorizer video.
Interesting observation: Chester V's head is shaped like a lightbulb, Flint's mother's motif was flowers. The Live logo is a lightbulb with a flower in the middle (Chester's image was built around her ideas).

I really think it comes down to dedication here, because MatPat has come up with some really great theories over his time on TH-cam but the quality between videos can be massively different because of how often he’s been uploading in recent years. Meanwhile The Theorizer takes his time with each one of videos to make sure the theory is as well fleshed out and believable as possible which is what we’re really all here for
Direct quote from Soylent Green “They're making our food out of people. Next thing they'll be breeding us like cattle for food.” That is definitely the scenario here and super dark for a kids movie 😅
The reveal that the outside world is so incomprehensibly densely populated makes the "normal" setting in the first movie seem more eerie somehow

How does Mary Poppins fit into this though?
I do like this theory so far.

Although naïve Flint is an incredible engineer, geneticist n programmer, (the AI he creates 4 the machine is obviously insanely advanced) he's 1 of my favourite characters of all time n it's kinda funny 2 think he set in motion everything that happened in the Spiderverse. i lub himb.

Holy wall of text, batman!@@bloodmoths3962
If Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Wall-e weren't from different companies I would say that they are connected. Overpopulation, humans consumed as food, massive people.
I love how with every video of yours I can watch you descend into madness all over again.
You my friend are trapped in a never-ending cycle, a cycle which you don't even seem to want to escape from
The entire cloudy with a chance of meatballs world is a massive inside joke that only Flyn isn’t in on.
this video is so serious that it's unserious
Matpat may have left, but at least we still have this crazy dude! (Love you Theorizer /platonic)
Love you theoriser (extremely hot steamy and romantical)
Love you, Theorizer. (/PURELY sexual.)
i chose the right time to open up youtube, huh.
ngl, this theory has a lot of flaws (e.g. the power grid would have no logical influence on the FLDSMDFR becoming a rocket; earl probably did actually hate flint, but it was probably a "love-hate for the town goofball" kind of thing; the section on flint's mom is pure speculation and the liv corp logo looks absolutely nothing like the floral pattern on the mother's dress, the fact they're both orange is just a coincidence. actually the whole theory falls apart when you start with flint's mother, which is rare because usually when you cook you end up having high probability of being right but this time it was really erroneous aside from the basic concept.), but i believe the basic concept after seeing the food bar in flint's hands and hearing the quotes by chester v. i wouldn't be surprised if the second film ret-conned a few things to set that plotline up.
after watching the video, i give this theory a 5/10. basic concept is probably true and is a really good theory, but it entirely falls apart after you start talking about flint's mom; there is basically no evidence supporting the theory by that point and its roots are all assumptions, anything drawn from those assumptions are purely coincidental. either way, it's nice to watch another theorizer video.

I suppose so

The "Evil Spotify" of Film Theory. gotta love it
Interesting observation: Chester V's head is shaped like a lightbulb, Flint's mother's motif was flowers.
The Live logo is a lightbulb with a flower in the middle (Chester's image was built around her ideas).
Maybe it’s too soon but this guy is way better at the Theory thing then MatPat imo
He always has been, even though i do love MatPat too. I want my theories unhinged and insane, yet 100% plausable somehow. Theorizer never disappoints. 🤩
MatPat has become quite an internet meme for his... varying quality in theories. He's very casual about theories so as a result many of them can't hold up to theories from people like this. Or in other words, MatPat's good at entertainment, but few of his theories are actually plausible if one really thinks about it.
I really think it comes down to dedication here, because MatPat has come up with some really great theories over his time on TH-cam but the quality between videos can be massively different because of how often he’s been uploading in recent years. Meanwhile The Theorizer takes his time with each one of videos to make sure the theory is as well fleshed out and believable as possible which is what we’re really all here for
@@Kyrikrliymore specifically matpat is more speculation rather than theorising
When scaled to the Theorizer nobody is an overthinker.
Direct quote from Soylent Green “They're making our food out of people. Next thing they'll be breeding us like cattle for food.” That is definitely the scenario here and super dark for a kids movie 😅
i been watching your videos from the start and i still love how much maddness can still happen in these videos.
