    Featuring:
    Said Arikat,
    Sam Husseini
    Moderated by:
    Bassam Haddad
The collapse of Israel’s narrative regarding its war/genocide campaign in Gaza has is now a recognized reality. But not so in the U.S. halls of power. In foreign policy briefings at the U.S. State Department we continue to witness obfuscation, duplicity, and at times brazen abrogation of several fundamental values professed by the United States when it come to Israel and Palestine. Our guests include one of the most recurring and critical fixtures of these briefings and a long-time participant and critic. They share their recent experiences and commentary, as well as exchanges which the world watches in now customary disbelief. We will address talk of ceasefire, massacres, and the ICJ decision.
Said Arikat has been the Washington Bureau Chief of the prominent Al Quds Daily Newspaper and an adjunct professor at American University. Currently, his reporting centers around the United States Department of State. He is a frequent guest on Arab Satellite TV as commentator on U.S politics, and its foreign and security policies.
Sam Husseini is an independent journalist and writer who has been piercing through the establishment’s falsifications for 25 years. Starting October 2023, he wrote a series of pieces about the possibility of a country invoking the Genocide Convention against Israel at the International Court of Justice. In the 1990s, he scrutinized the U.S. sanctions policy against Iraq. He similarly exposed false pretexts for bombing of Iraq and Sudan by the Clinton administration. More at husseini.substack.com

Love watching both Said and Sam confound the state department's spokespersons at the daily press briefings.

Thank you Bassam for giving an excellent platform to Said and Sam, the best-informed, best-committed, most articulate challengers to the lies and hypocrisy coming from the mouths of US State Department Spokesmen.

Sam confronts us with the painful facts, and pulls us out of the idealized bubble.

It would have to be a one state solution. Two states won’t work for the Palestinians
