    This is an excellent interview.
I am so used to hearing crooked (dishonest) spokespeople, that the honesty and directness of Prof Marandi's answers grabbed my attention.
What particularly impressed me was the foresight and even handedness of the Iranian authorities, what I mran by that is that Iran saw both Palestine and South Africa as issues that had to be addressed. Being a black person I am used hearing that issues affecting black people being sidelined but Iran is different.
The country is blessed to have such sound leadership.

The problem is the Sunni salafi who are trained to hate the Shia. They would have rather accept enemies of Islam than accept the Shia as brothers in Islam and the enemies of Islam have used sectarian hatred to their advantage. There’s sunnis who say that shia Iran is killing Sunni in Syria but it’s a lie because the Syrian rebels are isis and are given weapons and support by Israel and the USA. Netanyahu has openly supported these Syrian rebels who are slaughtering Christian and anyone who does not follow their type of khwarij Islam.

What I also admire about Prof Marandi is his composure and the calm way he expresses himself unlike people like Biden and Netanyahu who are often seen to be shouting and barking at their audiences. The Professor reminds me a lot of Vladimir Putin who has this same calm disposition and demeanor. Another leader who has these same characteristics is Xi Jinping. The western leaders could learn a lot from these gentlemen by observing how they conduct themselves with dignity and aplomb.

People act differently when they're not stunting for votes or "donations", but this isn't a marker of a better human being. Putin is trash, and would be worse still if not hampered by the goodwill built by his stated enemy, Soviet communism ("Bolshevism", he says, pandering to the Nazis).
Honestly, how tf are you so fooled by the civility shtick? You know judges do this too when they shaft people, right???

An excellent breakdown by the eloquent and honourable Dr. Mohammad Marandi, as always, Masha'Allah. A very grounded, logical, calculated and strategically considered analysis. No matter what you're views are on Iran and the Iranians, whether you have animosity towards them or love, you have to respect the cool, patient, logical, and calculated way Iranians generally operate; they are master strategists, unlike most of their adversaries who are so emotionally driven, irrational, short-sighted, arrogant, and impulsive.

Happy to be learning more about Iran.
Dr Marandi does an excellent job of sumarising and humanising Iran's current role in the resistance and it's relationship to their historical political stance against colonial occupation and apartheid.
I also appreciated the way Dr Merandi highlights the diversity of political opinions in Iran, something that Western media tries to flatten and paint as uniformly oppositional to Western democratic values (a hypocritical exercise given the short supply of these values in the Western political sphere itself).
