Hello Dear🤗. I’m an old man so I hope you aren’t offended by my greeting. I just wanted to tell you that I just made your hamburger buns and I am so pleased with them. I used your flour of course, with the only change of adding some ground flax seed in the mix as I didn’t have the psyllium. They came out great. My dear wife of nearly 58 years who is a wonderful baker and who has always made our bread, was skeptical until she ate her burger. She loved it and the silicone baking tray was the perfect size. I sprinkled some “everything bagel” seasoning on top and it was really good. I keep your flour mix made up all the time now. Thank you for your advice. PS: the biscuits are back for breakfast again as well, thanks to you 🥰.

I made this recipe last night. I don't have bun molds but used metal rings I bought for English Muffins yrs. ago. Wish I could post pics! They rose like crazy & were uneven (the part that was above my metal bands(Looked like a glacier! LOL!) Texture was nice. I made a chicken w/barbq sauce, bacon, cheese sandwich for my dinner. It was great! This morning I toasted one & put a fried egg on top!😀😋 Thank you for all your recipes & using the giftings God has given you!💖

Last summer I made these and brought to a cookout for our small group. One of the people in our group has asked me to make them for her and she will pay me! I believe the mold with holes in bottom is for making baguettes. The holes allow the bread to get crisp on the bottom. I do like your idea of the parchment paper to use for hotdog buns.
Made the hamburger buns today. I cut the recipe in half just to try it before committing to the full recipe. I made 3 buns (wasn't sure how full to make the bun wells). The buns increased in size more than I expected during cooking. So, I definitely think the half-recipe would have easily made 4 buns. I waited for them to cool completely on a cooling rack before splitting them. Then I buttered them and grilled them butter side down until they were nicely toasted. (I do this so that the condiments and meat juices don't make the bread soggy). We made cheeseburgers out of them and they were AWESOME!!!!
I wish I would have read your comment before I made these! My molds were deeper, and I tried to only fill half way and still had enough for two muffins. They ended up so high I thought I'd used TBSP for the baking powder...nope! 😅 Looked like a regular bun inside and was tasty!
I made these tonight to go with my hamburger patties. I made 6 round buns with the mixture. I didnt think they would hold their shape well enough without a mould being a batter, but they did! Very happy with the look and texture and taste. Very easy and wonderful recipe thank you Victoria.
Made these tonight after seeing the video because I really wanted a bacon cheeseburger and they did not disappoint. I think they would also be great toasted for a breakfast sandwich. I only made a1/4 of the batch (first because I always do this when trying new recipes because all of us low carbers know just how much money we have wasted on expensive products and second because it's only me) I only had 3 inch mold and I got 3 buns out of that. But they were plenty big enough for a burger. Victoria thank you so much for all of your great recipes. I tried 3 this weekend and plan on trying more. Next is my grandmas pie crust subbing your Perfected Keto flour. Fingers crossed!
When my husband and I were running errands, I would take my hamburger buns with me with a small container of my homemade keto ketchup. The Wendy's lettuce wrapped Jr Bacon Cheeseburger is my favorite on my homemade burger buns. I am a sucker for a VWG based yeast bun for burgers.

I made the hamburger buns yesterday. I did not smooth my tops out, so they look like large biscuits. I ate them today with hamburgers. It tastes similar to a hamburger bun and a biscuit. It did not taste like a regular bread . It did taste like something more and better. I enjoyed it and had two hamburgers today.
I made this in a challah bread mold. It was breadlike in texture but the flavor wasn't sufficient for a simple carrier like butter and salt, or cream cheese (and a bit of EBtB seasoning). It was a bit better for a proper sandwich like PB&J or deli meat. But the best was a grilled cheese in a panini press. I'll make this again and also try one of the yeast recipes. Thanks, Victoia!
With Memorial Day around the corner, I made the bun recipe for our small cookout. I didn’t have a mold so I plopped them on the baking sheet and dipped my fingers in water to mold them into a circle for the hamburger bun and oblong for the hotdog bun, sprinkled all with bagel seasoning. They held their shape and rose beautifully. They look very artisanal. But the best part is the taste! All I can say is “Chef’s Kiss”! Thank you will all sincerity for your amazing flour and an awesome recipe.
Thank you! I made slider buns for dinner. They held together to the last bite (a first on this two year journey!), tasted good, and my glucose level has not gone up at all. I didn't have a mold, baked them in a large muffin tin, and had to cut the middle out to use them 😊 I've never had any keto baked good rise so much! Normal foods twice in one day!!!!! (I used your self rising flour to make scones for breakfast...I'm driving family and friends crazy with pictures of the foods I'm enjoying again!)
Thanks again Victoria! Another recipe we can't live without. We can take these to restaurants (McDonald's, etc) replace bun. Now is this a perfect fix? NO. But it allows us to be just a bit more "normal" (or the way we used to be) wo too much attention. I ❤️ it! I have the smaller version of the hot dog silicone and the larger black mesh mould for hamburger buns. I put parchment paper on a large baking sheet like you do, but place the moulds on the paper and then fill the mould. I can't wait to try your awesome recipe. How do I adapt this wonderful bun recipe (and your other recipes) using your new standard keto flour 2.0? I want to try the new flour recipe, but don’t know how to use it in the your older recipes. @@victoriasketokitchen used 200 grams of the flour and 8 grams of baking powder. Made 12 buns, big enough for me to enjoy taste of “bread”. Maybe next time i have to use 15 grams of baking powder (i have double working powder).
I have the mesh hotdog mold (I also have the mesh hamburger mold) and have never had the dough go through. Your dough looks a little wetter than the one I used, so I think ill use parchment too.

Yes and no u will need less flour it I haven’t made this with that flour so I don’t know exactly how much. U also will need to add baking powder and I do think the amount needed is listed in the description box

Victoria, I recently saw someone making pasta with egg white powder, it was gelatin with eggwhite,I have been wondering if your flour would work for pasta, have you tried to make pasta at all? That would be a game changer if it did. The recipe was water, gelatin and egg white powder, very liquid pour into a pan like a thin pancake or crepe mix as soon as it was set it was removed then when she had several she rolled them together and sliced into noodles, I have tried making noodles with gelatin in the past but it kinda melts with hot sauce over it. Just putting it out there.

Where are you getting your oat fiber and egg white protein powder now that they are sold out? I'm new to this and I saw your second options buti know you say the oat fiber is not replaceable. Have you tried nunaturals?
I did try Nunaturals and I almost did not start my channel because of how bad it was. Threw it in the trash is has an awful taste and smell. BUT if you like it then that would be up to you. It’s brown so your products will not look like mine. I have 2 other oat fiber options in my description box that I use also
If i use the former all purpose flour for bread to make this bund, which amounts do i have to use? I want to use all former mixtures before making the perfected keto flour🙈

There is a rice I use called miracle rice. I rinse it really well then fry it dry then I add soy sauce and scrambled eggs some seasoning and it’s like hibachi rice u can also add whatever veggies you like. But I use “miracle rise”amzn.to/3DyljSP
Doesn’t need it. So there are yeast raised “take about an hour” then there is fast rise from baking powder. It isn’t that I don’t love yeast breads this is just a quick option for those not wanting to wait for the bread to rise. The best of both world is to add yeast and table sugar to the liquids at 110 for 10 minutes then make as the recipe states. That way u get a yeast taste but the baking powder is actually what rises the dough in the oven

Gram for cup so every 1 cup white flour use 105 grams perfected keto flour

Victoria, I recently saw someone making pasta with egg white powder, it was gelatin with eggwhite,I have been wondering if your flour would work for pasta, have you tried to make pasta at all?
That would be a game changer if it did.
The recipe was water, gelatin and egg white powder, very liquid pour into a pan like a thin pancake or crepe mix as soon as it was set it was removed then when she had several she rolled them together and sliced into noodles, I have tried making noodles with gelatin in the past but it kinda melts with hot sauce over it.

Where are you getting your oat fiber and egg white protein powder now that they are sold out? I'm new to this and I saw your second options buti know you say the oat fiber is not replaceable. Have you tried nunaturals?
I did try Nunaturals and I almost did not start my channel because of how bad it was. Threw it in the trash is has an awful taste and smell. BUT if you like it then that would be up to you. It’s brown so your products will not look like mine. I have 2 other oat fiber options in my description box that I use also

There is a rice I use called miracle rice. I rinse it really well then fry it dry then I add soy sauce and scrambled eggs some seasoning and it’s like hibachi rice u can also add whatever veggies you like. But I use “miracle rise”amzn.to/3DyljSP

Why didn’t you use yeast in these buns
Doesn’t need it. So there are yeast raised “take about an hour” then there is fast rise from baking powder. It isn’t that I don’t love yeast breads this is just a quick option for those not wanting to wait for the bread to rise. The best of both world is to add yeast and table sugar to the liquids at 110 for 10 minutes then make as the recipe states. That way u get a yeast taste but the baking powder is actually what rises the dough in the oven
