maybe isnt a GREAT POINT, but if you remove the virtuoso mic, the mute is in the same mic, but when you use G pro w/o mic, the button to mute is still in the headphone and you will not need that if you use it with a cast/pod mic

I just switched over to the Logitech G wireless from my Virtuosos. Way more comfortable. Not as loud as the Virtuosos though. Feels a bit cheap compared to Corsair. But at this point I’m taking comfort and clarity over Bulky/Heavy and loud.

Just goes to show that comfort really is down to the individual. Virtuoso is super comfy to me. Pro X was torture to wear. Good to have as many comparisons as possible. Good video!

That's the same reason why I'm here looking for a replacement. I just got the Logitech and honestly don't like them at all. Logitech are to low for my like, too much force on my ears and for the price not having the option of using analog as well is a bummer.

The virtuoso has an omni directional mic. Wouldn't that mean the mic would catch a lot of background noise like keyboards, TVs, etc? More so than the cardioid type?

Hello I have G Pro wired version on discord it has real time voice feedback to hear your self to talk to counter that noise cancellation, is this feature on G Pro Wireless?
I hope it doesn't have it.

I just replaced my logitech g935 headphones with the virtuoso xt. I had high hopes the xt would feel better after long periods of time. The XT's beat the g935's by a big margin, but I had a bit of comfortability issues with the tips of my ears. As for deep base. the g935's just smoke the virtuoso's. But overall sound clarity and range, the XT's win out big time. I had the g935's for two years and it's designed was very dated. The battery life was significantly reduced after that time, too. To replace it would be $40-50.
I bought thicker earcups for the XT and it was icing on the cake, but at and extra $25 ontop of the already big $250(on sale)-275 it might not be for everyone.

      @wouterx333 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

just did the exact same and i completely agree g935 also needed new earcups so the extra for the thicker pads for the virtuoso didnt bother me, amazing headset

This is a question that probably only you can answer, of the Virtuoso, Virtuoso SE and Virtuoso XT, which one sounds better in your opinion, and more importantly, which one has the better microphone? I’ve heard that the non-XT/SE had a better mic than the rest, but apparently that was before a firmware upgrade.

after listening to the sound quality section twice, I still can't tell which you thought had the best sound quality. This is because you mixed and jumbled stating the specs and your subjective experience! I liked your review, have been watching your reviews for a long time, but please keep subjective opinion and marketing specs clearly separate.

Good stuff. It seems like the virtuoso would really knock everything else out of the water if only it were comfortable for the user. I wish it were available in brick-and-mortar shops to try on, but even that wouldn't really simulate the experience of wearing it for several hours at a time.

Fwiw, I know Best Buy had some because I tried them on when I was deciding between these 2 headsets. I went with the GPRO X and I felt that it was more comfortable than the Corsair. However, the mic isn’t the greatest, but tweaking the settings in ghub, it sounds great to me and haven’t had complaints from friends or anyone I play with. I will say it’s still nowhere close to how nice the Virtuoso’s mic sounds out of the box.

I own the Virtuoso SE version. ill say the comfort is bad. it's very sad. because they are amazing in sound quality and style. but after 30 mins I find myself adjusting them to relieve the pressure on my ears. after an hour my ears are sore.
I've since moved back to my older bose qc35's that feel like angels cupping my ears.
I'll also add that im a 220lb 6ft tall guy with a big head and large ears. My son says the Virtuoso's are comfortable... so if your a smaller person. Maybe they will be all around winner for you.

Probably a little late but Best Buy has them on their Corsair displays to try on.
Also I got my GF some 3rd party velour earpads for her Virtuoso SE and she loves them. They're pretty amazing for her, but she only uses Corsair and iCue stuff. On my PC where I use Aura Sync, iCue causes all sorts of weirdness with the headset. The second I close it it works wonderfully.

I own the Logitech G Pro wireless and the Corsair Virtuoso SE (none blue tooth version) I do like them both, but I prefer the Corsair for it's better connectivity over the Logitech, tome the sound is very similar between the two, and the Logitech is slightly more comfortable in longer sessions, the range of both wireless seems to be very similar, build quality and weight on both is very similar, the Logitech has more of a retro look to them, and no.led lights on them.

Its pretty easy to change the battery in corsairs headsets. I mean, the people who built the thing got a battery in there right? My hs70 battery died within a year so i bought a cheap lipo battery from china, removed a few screws and soldered 2 wires. Its been going strong for 3 years. So im guessing Corsair uses truly shitty battery cells.

Also no body mentioned in review how Suround sound works for Corsair XT so when Dolby is not installed you get 8 speakers in Widnows 10-11 and whne Dolby is install you go to 2 Speakers only With Dolby Atmos install ...but its all good its supoed to be this way but no body is telling or no body knows how it work !! So You know a good review is nice and no reviews tell nothing about teh Dolby Atmos and its 1 of teh reason i purchased the Corsair XT also a comparaison between Dolby Atmos and DTS 2 would be nice of course its different Headset but still

After days of searching (watching your vids) and deciding between the Corsair Virtuoso XT, Logitech Wirelss Pro X and Audeze Penrose. I have to say that the Virtuoso XT is a comprimese between the Penrose and Wireless Pro X. The Virutoso has the mic quality from the Logitech and the sound (a portion) from the Audeze. While i still love the sound of the Penrose the mic sucked. What i did find out is that most headsets need EQ settings where the Penrose sounded great without it. I now have the Virtuoso XT and after some tuning it does sound decent and comes a little bit closer to the Penrose or my wired GSP600. In the comfort section the Pro X (and Wireless) owns it, the Penrose and Virtuoso are lacking in that section. Build quality the Pro X and Virtuoso are metal, the Penrose plastic fantastic.
