I grew up in Montclair California and in the 80s and 90s it was Bullwinkle's every weekend! Disney people talk about the Pirates of the Caribbean ride smell, well the indoor mini golf at Bullwinkle's had a very particular amazing smell.
I actually had one of my early birthday's at one here in Edmonton on Fort Road that was an IGA grocery before and now does business as a NAPA Auto Parts location... I always wondered how large and wide the chain reached... I don't even think it lasted until 1990 here though... Just like Swensen's and Johnny Rocket's we always get the trendiest American chains here but never for long... Chili's and Red Robin both have opened and closed their Alberta franchises except Chili's which keeps locations squirreled behind security at both YYC and YEG airports in Edmonton and Calgary as well as a random one at a hotel in Banff...

Bullwinkles in Montclair just opened back up again!! its slightly different but still cool!
