1250’s are a good cam, 236/242. Stock throttle body putting in work, I’ve tapped about 30 of them out at 370/380rwhp regardless of head/cam combo, just dyno to dyno difference I guess.
Be a decent combo with a better airflow package.

My Son's VY SS LS1 is 473 rwhp. Drives great but spent a lot to get it to that. Love the LS platform 👍💯 Sorting out any issues with them. 💪🤘🇦🇺

Can you please add manufacturers part numbers on your OSP warehouse website. I looked at some ARP LS head studs but can’t compare without a part number!….. there are many different head stud kits for the LS from ARP.

No you would need ported heads for that Cam for best results as well as an OTR.

The issue you begin to have by going much bigger is bleeding too much dynamic compression due to overlapping valve events. Generally when building a pretty wild combo with a really big cam you combat this with more static compression. With the stock pistons there is only so much compression to work with though, we have found this cam to be a very good balance getting good results with stock compression and still not requiring any fly cutting for pistons to valve clearance.
If this combo had a solid single plane manifold and throttle body setup we would expect to net another 15-20whp, and that is just about the ceiling for a SBE 5.7

Manual.
And I'm looking to do the same sort of set up as this!
With the possibility of a harrop blower down the track.
