The latest BIOS update added an auto function. So in theory it should always choose the best option so you can avoid issues like running out of either system memory or video memory. I've chosen that option on mine. And I don't foresee that I'll go back to a fixed amount.
Makes sense I’ve seen some reports of users that have had issues with auto on some games. Unconfirmed but just something to keep in mind. As support for these devices increases I would expect these issues will disappear entirely
Do you feel like you have more game options that work on the legion from steam store then you did on the deck. Seems like there are a lot of games that don’t work on the deck.
100% a lot of steam games will run on the deck but with a lot of changes using proton db. In windows you won’t come across the same challenges but the os is a lot more resource hungry than a Linux distribution. Not found anything I can’t run on the legion go so far as it’s like having a small laptop in some ways
Hey, one other question if you don’t mind hooking this device up to a TV to use it on a bigger screen is it just using a USB-C to HDMI cable and if so, does it charge it while it’s hooked up?
Unfortunately an issue with a lot of the handhelds atm there’s some positive changes happening and the next generation of this will hopefully see a major leap forward

Yep you can use the other free usb c port to charge at the same time
Good review
Cheers pal have a good new year
Thanks for the vid. FYI, you can swap start + select with the L right and L left buttons, since the update before last.
Cheers I did notice that. I don’t tend to use Legion space much as you can probably tell 😁
The console is wonderful, but the battery is worse than an old cell phone.
