Subbed because your chill vibe and delivery is a refreshing contrast to the "What's up TH-cam, it's your booooooyyyyyyy!" over-the-top TH-cam personalities.
Never saw somebody using it as a Tablet. You seriously made the best Video about the Lenovo Legion like the Endurance of the Controllers or the Warranty.
Yeh i agree with you Harvey, becaus bow days the reviewers and not being honest and are just following the trends to keep up. We need someone thats its as you said "normal person" that we can watch and interact with a not the usually BS that we get from the other youtubers.
Just ran across your channel, looking around after recently getting my Go. There are a lot of "copy and paste" videos, the same stuff, the same stale takes. You, otoh, are fresh, seem knowledgeable and real (sincere) and just have a very appealing persona and production values. The fact that you can speak to Gen Zs and boomers (like me!) alike is a real tribute to your talent and effort. Keep it up. Thanks. Liked and subbed.
Nice video. I had the Z13 and returned it. IMO, the Legion go is the largest size tablet you want in your hand. The z13 is 13 inches and too big for handheld, and requires you to always have it on a table with controller. Honestly, that is really gaming laptop territory. After using the Z13, I wanted a "tablet with controllers connected to the end" which is exactly what the Lenovo go is. Its my favorite new device, but very chonky.
This is the first review I've ever left on a video. I love your energy and vocal cadence. It's so comforting to just listen to your voice. Most reviewers speak using really complicated technical jargon with a very cookie cutter, newscaster voice, where ultimately, their message gets lost in translation for me. I really appreciate your approach and all the effort you put into your videos. Keep up the amazing work! Thank you! I have Cyberpunk on my Xbox, but you convinced me that I need to pick it up on my PC and play it on the Legion Go. Thanks again. :)
Hey thats super kind of you to mention this!!! I'm glad to make it relatable I figured thats what most people want. Super nice comment, jjust made my day 💖
@Cyber Dopamine YES! I totally agree! I also like the chilled mood of your videos! It's such a good contrast to the many ever so fast talking, hasty youtubers out there! 😉👌👍
Holding it vertical got me to sub. Ive had it for a few days and would have never thought to do that. Now that I think about it, I didn't know if did that LOL

Enjoying your videos reviews of the handheld PCs thus far man, keep up the good work, personally what keeps me coming to a channel is if it doesn't offend my traditions/values, but I would say you are doing a good job with this thus far and obviously it's your own channel/your rules. I am really being convinced more and more to get the Legion GO instead of a laptop or XBOX One Series S|X , but I live in South Africa and there is no news of it coming to our country any time soon. I have tried to check online ordering, but Lenovo UK doesn't ship to us and the income tax is ridiculous, almost making an ASUS ROG Ally more feasible since there is stock in our country.
It's great but honestly the Steam Deck software is perfect for a handheld. I just jump in and out painlessly, and I have a laptop for PC stuff. As for performance, my library is old enough and ripe with unplayed old AAA games to last me till the Deckard is out!
I can definitely understand your passion for handhelds. I'm on the same boat, right now I have the Steam Deck and I'm deciding between the Rog Ally or the Legion Go for Gamepass and other stuff. Your review was very helpful, your mention of ergonomics regarding the Legion Go is kinda of pushing me towards the Rog Ally
Great presentation! Love, that you keep it up to the viewer to subscribe. Very smart move ;) For all you legions, I have one question/ issue. I can start and play older GOG games (Elite Force, Armada, AVP, undying) in desktop mode running on a monitor, but the moment I want to play it handheld, no games open up (direct error etc.). The question is, what changes on the hardware that has influence on opening a game? Thank you
I have gone through technology hell and back just to set this thing up. Updating drivers is killing me. I'm experienced in windows, but not in Lenovo, and especially not in AMD. Every time I follow a video step by step, somehow, what works for them - doesn't work for me. Like updating to the knew BIOS for the 6GB UMA buffer. It's incredibly simple, but somehow I get an error message telling me it's already installed. It isn't, as I don't have the 6GB option, but my drunk GO seems to think all is in order. Despite all that, when it is working, it's an amazing device. Can't wait til the issues are ironed out, and HOPEFULLY, things work for me.
First time seeing your channel. I never commeng on TH-cam videos, but damm, you got my attention. No sensationalism, just a normal persons point of view on a cool bit of tech. I've been looking at the Legion Go as a more portable Photoshop machine (currently using a Zenbook Pro Duo 15), and you're thr first ive seen that has commented on the Legions non-gaming windows use-case, so thank you! Keep it up, you'll definitely grow this channel with the honest, more grounded and real-life examples!
Thank you! For photoshop this will do the job dang well. And you get to play whatever games you want as a +. Dang thank you for the last part too. I’ll try to keep it that way
@@CyberDopamine figured when you said about video editing. All the videos I've seen are about it's gaming capabilities (which is understandable!), but your literally the first I've seen mention anything remotely about it essentially being a Windows tablet and got productivity, which is a great angle to cover, so good work. I'll look forward to seeing more of your work in the future, keep it up 😁
I love the legion go, but I am having issues with the performance of it. Deadzones are really bad. Easy to fix though. I just used steam, and handheld companion.
I agree the display 8.8 brings the games to the next level and very immerssive experience. I have been carrying this to work without the joycons and is great... it does what a laptop can do. Overall is a great device. Only thing that is missing is gameplay performance it needs tons of updates to get where the rog ally is. Hopefully soon
You could use a rubber band spread across both of the thumbsticks to keep them awake overnight. That would give you a real-ish case scenario for maximum game time.
Glad you’re back mate!!! Thought you were done with your channel with the steam deck … your videos have helped me before! Don’t stop!! I’m a subscriber!! Anyways I have a Legion go all my steam Library seem to work just fine with some setting, but Sonic frontiers runs horrible but runs great on steam deck. Any advice? Only if your into Sonic lol

Loving your channel man, I'm looking for which handheld I'm going to buy. I'm wondering if the legion go controllers feel flimsy since they are detachable? I was leaning rog ally but the usb4 and track pad moved me.
Thank you!!! There is no flimsiness with the legion go which caught me by surprise. When the controllers are attached, they’re attacked. Pretty wild. I’d assume over time tho it will get more flimsy
@HandheldDopamine I would say the deep and thorough explanation of the Leigon go and the nice calming voice. I could see this becoming the go to channel for handhelds in the future.

It’s worth upgrading. It’s a whole different caliber of gaming. But it also depends on what you play
I play mostly triple A games and multiplayer fps and on the Deck I'm greatly limited to play MP games because of the anti cheat issues.

Yes bro. You can even add an external gpu like a 4080 and get even more horsepower out of it
Thx man. But even without an egpu, I can expect triple AAAs to run decently in desktop mode, right?
Yes absolutely
It boils down to resolution. I have a 2k monitor. But play my games on 1080p and sometimes 900p but with Ai up scaling.
You mean the answer is yes if I am willing to play on 1080p or an upscaled lower res. Right?
