    These might be fun toys but they arent affordable to your average blue collar worker and these definitely wont last 10-20 years like most workers expect a brand new truck to last. Then both interiors are overly reliant on screens and software that's already glitching. Im sure ford and gm cheap interior/electronic parts bin aren't going to last any longer than cheaper models either.

      This is the top of the line Hummer E1 and it’s not targeted at “average blue collar workers”. It’s a supertruck. The Hummer also has physical buttons and isn’t reliant on screens. You old folks just have an issue with screens because you’re too lazy to learn everything associated with them. He literally just said the interior isn’t cheap in the Hummer, and you can see the attention to detail in the interior and quality from the review - so it’s evident you don’t operate based upon any actual facts.

    It seems like one item that is often ignored is the overall width of the Hummer EV (and its Hummer EV SUV sibling). The Hummer EV is 86.7 inches wide without the mirrors, which means it is about as wide as an F-150 Raptor, and about 6" wider than the F-150 Lightning.

      @@somethingtough no, because at least I can afford the old Ferrari currently in my garage.
      These vehicles are being marketed as if the common family of four is going to be making a purchase. The fact is that the production is extremely limited and they are low value. At least with a Ferrari you are getting something likely custom built for you... FWIW, I wouldn't complain about the Ford GT or Z06 Corvette either, because they are marketed as niche flagship vehicles for the respective manufacturer.

      I've seen quite a bit of lightnings lately, it's cheaper than the gas powered version because of the incentives you get when you buy it

    • @mpeugeot
      @mpeugeot 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@CalebTheFew06 what incentives? Federal tax incentives apply only to vehicles with a maximum MSRP of $55,000 for cars and $80,000 for SUVs/trucks/vans. Neither of these meet the cut off. You could configure a Lightning under $80k, but it's still more expensive than many F-150's. The maximum credit/rebate you will likely see is $10k more for the F150 Lightning, which is not $10k less than the gasoline powered F150. An extended range F150 Lightning XLT (the lowest trim non-fleet customers can purchase) with a few basic options (like tow tech and max tow) is over $73k MSRP. Add a few more options and say goodbye to the $7500 tax credit. A similar F150 XLT with a 5.0 v8 tow package etc is $57k MSRP, or $16k less expensive.
