Not sure what the nameless jersey's about.
i really liked that buck head logo(& purple/green color scheme) they went with in the mid90s. But it was kinda weird having a big buck head taking up the front of the jersey. They dropped that pretty quick.
One of my fav NBA jerseys of all time were the early 90s Bucks unis. i wish i could score a Jack Sikma or Ricky Pierce Bucks replica jersey. i'd sport that on the court frequently.

Teams keep an extra nameless jersey just in case something happens to a player’s regular jersey. They probably forgot his normal jersey.

Big Dog Robinson was the original Carmelo Anthony in terms of size and style of game. When I watch him I feel like I'm watching Melo. Melo had the better career individually in terms of longevity but Robinson was clearly an influence in his game there's no question. Even in the highlight package when he was a in Philly he hit a midrange jumper over Melo lol 🏀 there games style wise were close too identical. Was always a fan of Big Dog!!!!

  • @donwhiteley3293

Robinson played in one of the lowest scoring eras in recent NBA history and still averaged over 20 ppg for his career. That's saying something. His game was very similar to Carmelo Anthony's with mostly the same strengths and weaknesses.

“You should be happy to be in my presence I should charge you a fee, I’m Big Dog, Glen Rob, listen god you a flea” ~ Jay Z Blueprint 2
Glenn Robinson was a bucket getter. Mid range assassin. He could score on all levels.
I almost forgot he got that title with my mob.. the Spurs in 05’
He was almost the last of the Bernard King type small forwards, Carmelo had that type of game, although he was a better shooter overall. The rugged offensive small forwards who could bully in the post, mid range assassin, good range in the 3, sneaky handles, great footwork, and a Dawg mentality. Back when the offensive roles where more defined.

Demar Derozan is known as the King of the Midrange but Glenn Robinson who was almost exact same size as Demar shot 10% more Midrange shots than Demar. Their games are so similar is wild. But I honestly couldn't grasp--- back in the day--- the "greatness" of Glenn Robinson. Yes, I was aware of him during that era. But I just wasn't enthused to watch him or follow his career. I guess it's because his game was simple and quiet, not flashy and loud. But he let his game & his stats speak. I didn't realize how great of an offensive player he was. He was kinda like a smaller version of Tim Duncan in the sense that he would "quietly" score 20, 25, 30 or more on you and you wouldn't even notice it. And I guess that's the legacy he left.

people that didn't watch the NBA don't know..that back then 20 pts per game means where a great scorer, now 20 points today is like 15 pts in the 90's or mid 2000's

Big dog torched the Big 10, and the Big 10 was STACKED during this time. Outside of Chris Jackson (LSU), he was the most incredible scorer I have seen in college basketball. IMO.

Before glen Robinson was Alex English, Bernard king and that guy who was a bad boy piston that got traded to the jazz who was a post monster and mid range assassin one dimensional great scorer. Nowadays it’s derozan, Rudy gay and Carmelo before them.

Good for u! I'm not being a smart as.. I finally quit 4 or 5 years ago because I always knew it was WWE! I follow a little but won't watch.
As a Bucks fan, the series against Iverson was SOOOOO FN SICKENING AND IBVIOUSLY RIGGED!!!!
Part that sucks is that I quit watching games a little b4 Giannis and the Bucks won it all.
As long as one knows it's WWE, then I don't think they are idiots for watching!

@@stormteam3004 Even the series prior against TMac and the Magic was just as poorly reffed but we won so it is slightly overlooked. But then it all started up again the next series with 76rs. I couldn't bring myself to watch anymore after that. Then it was all confirmed to me a few years later when that ref came out with a book blowing the whistle I'm all the rigged games. At that point I knew I'd made the right choice.

2001 and 2002 were rigged as hell. Bucks and Kings got so screwed over. It's sad because if that Bucks team make the finals no way they get torn apart by Karl after the following season. Ownership wouldn't have allowed it. I hate George Karl to the core for running Ray Allen out of town. Dude literally told ownership it's either him or me. So we traded our best player since Sidney Moncrief for 2 months of washed and cooked Gary Payton. Then George Karl left the franchise the following year. Bucks would go 13 years in a row after that without a winning season (except 2010).

7:00 I know that hindsight is 20/20, but remember when Herb Kohl said, "You can have the franchise. I'LL take the $100 million." WOW, in hindsight, Herb Kohl is SO glad Glenn Robinson didn't take him up on that! Of course, who knew how much the values of these NBA franchises would blow up. I think Kohl sold the Bucks for over $200 million, eventually. I was born in Seattle in 1973, a Sonics and Blazers fan. 7:22 Oh, ok, I'm Japanese-American and male. Since the race card was brought up in THIS video, I can bring up MY race and gender, too!

27:25 This is a rarity: A Forgotten Player Profile, who ended a season with "Won NBA Finals" or "Won NBA Championship." Probably because, most key players who win championships, aren't forgotten. Of course, Robinson was a support player by the time he got to San Antonio.
