Coco is like a Mary Sue straight out of some TWEWY fan fiction; or better yet, a TWEWY fan fiction writer reimagining Shibuya and the original characters as how she preferred them to be, and then inserting herself as a super powerful OC to team up with Neku and Beat. It’s such a strange story.

He gets killed to serve as Joshua's proxy (basically his puppet), suffers three weeks in a game where his life is at stake, and then finally, he finds out that the guy he thought was a friend (Joshua) is the one that betrayed him and killed him, but despite that, he couldn't go through with shooting Joshua, and finally comes back to life... ONLY TO GET DRAGGED BACK INTO THE GAME?!
And Sho comes back and is going to be his partner this time. Like, what is going on? Neku has gone through way too much shit.

Yeah pretty much we can tell what happen Neku dies will be IN another reapers game with SHO MINAMOTO As his partner COCO just put him in another situation that girl known as Hype-Chan will have a role in the Sequel
I really hope there's a sequel. One of my favorite games ever left on ANOTHER ~10 year sequel hook is a horrible fate to suffer.

Who was that girl and why did her eyes change colors?
Shinjuku got erased. Josh says he no longer needs Neku because he won his proxy game with Kitaniji, but surely there's a reason the ending of the first game brought Neku back to life, not sure because of his "change of heart".
Why was Shinjuku erased? Why does Coco need to kill Neku for another game? Why did Neku disappear after being shot in Udagawa? Who is the girl? Why does Coco need the game to continue? Are the angels coming?
What the hell is going on?
I need answers, but knowing Nomura and Square, they'll just hype us up with an announcement of an announcement of a release date of an announcement.
Coco killed neku, for an unknown motive and brings back sho so that neku will have a strong partner to beat the reapers game, which will probably decide the fate of shibuya again, this time with angels wanting to destroy shibuya, like how they destroy shinjuku. They might have destroyed shinjuku because of similar reasons Joshua stated for wanting destroy shibuya.
I don't mind. I am actually looking forward to it.

Recent events in KH3 revealed that Sora just got Luke-Skywalkered into the TWEWY-verse, so now I have even Less of a goddamned clue about what the fuck is rolling in Nomura's head right now. So now here is where we stand: Homicidal Waifu Girls, Noise appearing in the Realground, Fake versions of Hanekoma and Joshua, the Possibility of Minamimoto returning, AGAIN, the ever mysterious Hype-Chan who somehow managed to escape Shinjuku going FUBAR, and now they want to toss the main protagonist of Kingdom Hearts into the mix. And Riku won't be involved, because he got sucked into a slightly more energetic and somehow BETTER version of FFXV, which got an in-game advertisement in KH3.
Fuck it, I am done.

The only new info we have on her is that she is the only survivor of shinjuku being erased, and is the one sending neku the visions.
@Gameboy224 I doubt they are gauging reception for this game since Square knows it has a somewhat sizable fanbase. I think its them figuring out how well TWEWY does on the Switch. Like game mechanics wise. TWEWY isn't like KH where you can just slap it on any new system or handheld and have its mechanics stay the same. The way TWEWY plays is a lot different and I'm fine with them using sequel bait in order to figure that out.

@@samugames0 There is a character called Zero from the Megaman franchise more specificlly from the Megaman X series. Throughout the games he would keep dying and coming back just like Neku.(Died/Sacraficed himself in X1, came back for X2-X5 until he died/sacraficed himself again to come back in X6 to X8). Then there is the Zero/ Megaman Zero series which is a continuation of the X series where in Z4 the last game, he final dies peacefully fulfilling his role. I would go more into detail since I'm Megaman fan and TWEWY fan myself so I understood the joke but that's really it.

I kinda dislike how NEO feels, narratively, like a 3rd game because of all this. So much of the downtime between Final Remix and Neo is just not explored at all, and makes setups like Neku & Sho go completely out the window.
I can’t wait to see Neku’s reaction when he realizes Sho is his next partner 😂. That’ll be fun. Poor guy, he can’t catch a break can he lol?

Subarashiki Kono Sekai (It's a Wonderful World) is Tatsuya Kando and Tomohiro Hasegawa's story that they created during the development of Chain of Memories. Nomura helped get the game green-lit and ended up as its creative producer. He has only done the character designs and helped with gameplay. That's it.

So the final boss in the sequel is most likely going to be Joshua right? Or at least one of the main antagonists. The sequel hook seems to be putting him and mr H as enemies, since they don't care properly for humans, and Deku will have to stop him.

Gameplaywise regarding the Switch version:
What I saw from lps is that the pointer controlls arent very good. I much prefer the stylus control on the ds. If they do a sequel they really gotta improve on the controls. Like in tv mode motion controls plus stick and in handheld mode pure touch. I know that might be complicated. But if they do a sequel they should do it right. And no forced sequel story like I fear it will have...

I think.... Neku just lost, so from the looks of it, Neku had actually lost the reaper’s game and what we’ve been seeing (the end of the original game) never happened at all.
But how the rest of the TWEWY kids (and Shibuya itself) would have survived if Neku lost at the Reaper Game at any point of the original game/story? I really don't see how things could have worked out if that were the case.

This is AFTER the ending from the main story, after the 3rd week. That's why Neku thinks it's Eri he sees the first time he meets with "Shiki", and why both he and Beat are surprised to be back in the game

-So Coco made a huge noise that was the whole city and got beat and neku in there again. But how did they get "there" assuming that "there" was the UG? I dont think they both died again. It seems that coco REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted them to complete the mission landing them who knows where.
-I also can't read if the conversation Joshua had with Mr H was before or after he shot Neku. Methinks before, but then again, it seems like Coco heard the conversation and then went to go revive sho or something so maybe it was after. The scene neku got shot again in confused me a bit but I guess Joshua shot coco trying to erase her? And she shot neku to get him back into the game?
-I have no idea who that girl with the bear is. Probably related to coco somehow.
-Mr H really confused me. We were apparently talking to the team one, so why did he not know about Kiryu being called Joshua, etc? Weird.

What I got from the episode:
- This could be more like the Noise world than the actual UG. You know, the "world" you meet on Pork City? So it's more like a pocket dimension, I guess...
- Yes, it's most likely after... mostly becouse if she had revived Sho BEFORE "Coco's Game", she'd probably had used him in there to some extent... Also, are we gonna gloss over the fact that Coco somehow heard that conversation, that probably happened atop Pork City, from somewhere in Shibuya River? This could be a hint of some other powers she has...
- All we know is that she's probably a gifted player, like Neku, but with a different talent. Neku's imagination is so powerful he can use pretty much every single pin, and this girl aparently has the talent to connect with others.
- If what Coco said when she did that 180º after being called out, then it's possible that ND!Hanekoma is ALSO a fake, and the only reason he helped Neku is becouse the real one was using his powers to talk through the fake one to an extent. Basically, ND!Hanekoma didn't know "Joshua", just the memories of "Yoshiya" that Coco gave him, and the info about what's going on is the bit that the real Hanekoma could give him.
- ... are we SURE she didn't revive Sho to be HER partner/right-hand man, though?

And from me... Didn't Solo/Live Remix state that Coco was basically turned into a store clerk becouse she's weak? I mean, it's possible that they forgot/retconned that, but MAYBE... it's true. As in, she didn't create that pocket dimension becouse she's that freakin' strong, but instead, maybe she found out about forbidden arts for noise, and, what she lacks in raw power she compensates in genius, so she could create a sigil (or something similar) to cast that noise? I mean, the only moment we see "dissonant noise" is on Coco's game, so we can assume that SHE created it as well, and since we know of another kind of sigil that can cast taboo noise and even "revive" a soul that was erased... it's a possibility...
What about the door in Dead God's Pad? Can you not go through there or something?

Thanks to the Composer's change of heart (brought on by exposure to his proxy's unbridled Imagination), Shibuya has been restored to its original state. Crisis averted.
Although the rules have undergone some slight revisions in the wake of Shibuya's rebirth, the powers that be deemed no major changes were necessary, saying it's better to keep things easy to understand.
For now, it seems, the Game will remain the same. The Composer will continue to use it as a tool by which he can judge the worth of visitors from the RG.
In other words, everything is back to normal.
...Well, in Shibuya, at least. The Incident outside the city has piqued the Composer's interest-and rightfully so. Neither one of us has ever seen it happen so close to home.

Two boys I know quite well seem to have vanished from the RG a few hours ago.
What's more is that I've detected several spikes in activity over the past few days during regularly scheduled retunings.
While I have yet to find an explanation for the unexpected trouble that has accompanied Noise outbreaks and interplanar travel as of late, I can't help but think it must be connected to those boys' sudden disappearance.
For now, I've decided to investigate a certain Noise that made some major waves when it first appeared. Something about it strikes me as suspicious.
Although I have no evidence definitively tying the emergence of this Noise to the aforementioned incident, my intuition tells me the former was somehow caused by the latter. We'll see what I turn up when I check out the scene.
Speaking of which, it looks like the Composer is making moves of his own. We haven't coordinated our efforts, but I've got a hunch we're headed in the same direction.

It turns out the enormous Noise under that little Reaper's control was actually a pseudo-parallel world artificially constructed by breaking down and forcibly rebinding the Soul from various Noise.
This sort of unusual and unstable dimension is extremely fragile, so we gave up on the idea of down-tuning our vibes to launch an infiltration. Instead, I interfered with the Noise from the outside by using an advanced method of imprinting.
My goal was to save both boys.
Unfortunately, I could only save one.
A pseudo-parallel world like that one is special in that it is heavily dependent upon its creator.
A considerable Imagination is required to create such a world-far greater than that of any run-of-the-mill Reaper. I suspect someone must have given that little girl a hand.
And what about those mysterious visions that invaded Neku's consciousness? What about that abnormal power and whoever created it? What about the Reaper resummoned into the UG via a refinery sigil?
All of these phenomena occurred almost simultaneously with the aforementioned incident in Shinjuku-that is, the Inversion. But is it possible a single event could truly have such widespread repercussions? I'm determined to find out.
