He's what, 50-something? So he was in his 20s in the mid-late 1980's when Honda was starting to become awesome with the CRX and Civic Si, Prelude 2.0Si and DA Integra. Also, his son owns a tuning shop, so maybe he's into this because of him lol
Dude right! My auto systems tech teacher looks like he is in his mid 50’s and has an impreza wrx and a civic! We were all pleasantly surprised when he told us that he has and loves those cars!
+Doctor Ferdinand Ed was just the nicest guy, but he had no idea who i was really except that his son watched my videos. He was clearly nervous to let someone else drive his car, so I wanted to be very respectful as it was a stunning original car. He also had just gotten out of the hospital only a couple weeks before after open heart surgery, so you don't want to literally give the dude a heart attack. Also, with the grunt of the supercharger you don't need to go that high. It makes plenty of power for the road.
+yomotha ga because v8s are the only things fast in this world lmao you are so ignorant about how engines work, he's not nearly close to pushing that engine to its max potential
Nice car, mine was a 2001 Nighthawk Black Pearl number 703. Pristine condition, sold it with a mere 4,000 miles on the odometer to buy a 2003 S2000. I left mine 100% stock and watched two guys practically have a fist fight over the car in my driveway as the car wound up in a bidding war. I sent both guys packing and neither got the car. Two months later I sold it to a gentleman from Erie PA. He was buying it for his son who of course came with him. He assured me his son would drive it safely. I spent several hours with him showing him on-line videos and newspaper articles about people getting killed behind the wheel because they did not understand the driving dynamics of this particular car and how it acted more like a rear wheel drive car then a front drive one under hard braking. The Type R was designed to do this in order to quickly pivot the rear end increasing speed through the corners. Mr. Taylor was the consummate gentleman and very determined to make the purchase. After hours of suggesting to him that it was not the right car for a kid in his teens he won me over. I told him that I never wanted to hear from him if his son got into a bad accident or worse as I tried everything to talk him out of making the purchase. I took the kid aside and explained to him that he needed to respect both his dad and the car both for different reasons of course. One week later, they showed up and took the car home. The son had a buddy with him who frankly looked like a real trouble maker. I took both of them aside and explained one more time that no car is a toy but that this one especially needed to be respected. I also told the son that as a father myself of four that it would kill his dad if anything ever happened to him behind the wheel. Soon after they left and headed home; his dad in one car and he and his buddy in the ITR. A few hours later I received a text message with a picture of the speedo which I still have. It read 120mph essentially telling me to shove my concerns up my A$$! A few months later I ran the VIN # as I do with all cars from time to time that I have sold to see if the mileage was being kept low to maintain collector car status or if the car was really being driven which of course would kill its value. Unfortunately the report came up as follows: Serious accident / salvage / possible fatality!!!!! I never again did hear from this young man’s father. I can only hope that the possible fatality portion of the report was standard issue but I looked no further. These were great cars but were designed for the track or for people that really know how to drive. Thanks for a fun look back………..
You see guys, not all Honda's are ricers. Ones like these that are done properly are super clean and make decent power. Such a nice car and the owner is sound af!

+Archibald VonFookFace Nah man, all that DIY gutter fence grill, vacuum hose cold air intake, custom exhaust ports, all that stuff adds $$$$$$$$$$$ to my car bro
Agreed 100%. That's precisely why my 98 Integra is and will remain completely stock. It's heartbreaking to see so many Integras, Preludes, CRXs etc retrofitted, bastardized and and almost universally hated because they really are delightful little cars to drive...WITHOUT all the ridiculous aftermarket "upgrades" and other pointless accoutrements.
In Australia I drove a genuine black Type R with 160K for $10000. It was entirely stock. Nothing for under $30K now if it’s mint and original. Seen them as high as $45K. Nice video thanks.
I guess I'm getting older, but these fast, high/fast revving FWD cars tend to attract me more and more... They are easy to drive (just be careful with lift off oversteer) and imply that you can push it most of the time without risking much and they do make great daylies. Simple FWD with an awesome chassis... I'm starting to look for a 1.9L Peugeot 205 GTI which I'll definitly enjoy. I'd keep the unicorn factory turbo SA22C of course, but that would be a nice addition....
+ptibab73 haha, marier a une japonaise, j'habite au japon :) (et j'ai pas d'accent sur mon clavier lol) Bagnole difficile a trouver en France sans qu'elle ait 200.000km (a moins de debourser 10000 euros)
I've never driven a Type R, but I can honestly say that the most fun I've ever had in a car was in a late 90s GSR. It was lowered, had a full exhaust, super heavy clutch, and short shifter. Revving the B18 out all the way was so exhilarating!
And all it takes is one 20 year old to rear end you at a red light to murder your build/passion project/rarified gem (who wants into this club w me?)-not to harsh mellows. This dude is awesome too
idk if the owner asked him to take it easy or if Matt was being respectful. But hondas like this have zero issues going to redline, all the time. I had bought a new 2008 civic si and redlined it every single day for 130k miles, never a hiccup and stock clutch when i got rid of it. Hondas must be revved!
"Everywhere I go, I just want to cain it" This is exactly my scenario. I've owned a UK spec Integra Type R DC2 in championship white for 15 months now and I can't express how nice it is to drive on and off track. It's just so hard not to put your foot down and enjoy it. I've had to get back in my 1998 civic EK3 over the winter to restrain myself :(
+Kyle Tatum Just a pity the roads do not allow him to attack as he does in Cali. The quality of the roads sucks and it does not help that he is not familiar with them. It would be so awesome if they could get these cars to California ..or at least a track.
If the supercharger was installed when it was new i could guess that whoever installed it had a displayed number that kit would put down for perspective buyers.
I can't believe the car's supercharged judging from the sound. What a sweet exhaust note. I mean all this as a compliment. Great job on the car, Ed. May it serve you well for many many more miles. Cheers!
Great car but seriously you missed out by not doing at least a 1st and 2nd gear pull to redline. There's a reason the red line is 8500...because that's where all the magic happens.
FWD, similar power, similar weight. Take away the nostalgia and collectability and you're talking about very similar cars. The Fiesta is faster and has better steering though.
+TheSmokingTire I respect your opinion because you have driven both cars. my Opinion is just off of nostalgia and the ideology of the fact that it is one of the best production cars ever built by Honda. I agree to a certain extent but if you handed me both keys and told me to pick one better believe I'm going for the ITR.
+TheSmokingTire It's a similar spirit car but in Europe you would call the Integra a coupe not a hatch and the new fiesta you would probably compare to the JDM only EK9 Civic Type R (1.6 B16B 185bhp) or the UK Civic VTi (3dr 1.6 b16a 165bhp or 5dr 1.8 B18 160bhp). After that the civic is a focus rival due to size increase (the EP3 with K20a and 197BHP looks like your USDM 2002 Si)
+theelman I'm comparing the Fiesta ST to the Integra Type R because they are fast FWD cars that set the benchmark for FWD handling dynamics in their respective time periods. I could give two fucks about the shape of the roofline.
There was a story in a recent car magazine (Motortrend, Car&Driver, Road&Track, or Automobile... I get them all) that featured the Integra Type R. The writer found one in mint condition... for $45,000! These really are unicorns. I wish I could remember which of those magazines had this story. It was a good read.
+shaggyusm26 That's bonkers - they are fairly common here and usually go for well under $10,000, and that is NZ dollars too, so that'd be about $6500 USD.
He didn't buy it, he passed. But, yeah, it was mint condition with very low miles. Here is the story: www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/a26856/acura-integra-type-r-buyers-guide/
The Type-R is one car I wish I didn't pass on. Instead I swapped the B18C5 into a Civic and I also swapped a couple of other B18 and B16's into other civics. They ended up quicker than some Type-R's I raced but they were never the complete package. That Jackson racing super charger is nice but after Oscar sold it off I don't know where you'd get it rebuilt if need be.
+Stig Msr Stiegemeier , they can do much more than a rebuild , port and polish , cleaning , you name it. Not sure on the price of rebuild on this supercharger but you will get every pennies worth guaranteed. I would pay the extra for port and polish to have a much smoother and cooler running supercharger , not to mention added power.
I knew a guy that had a Jackson racing super charger on his GSR back when Oscar ran the company. It was a really fun car. Something went in the supercharger after Oscar sold sold his company and the new Jackson switched to a different style blower. They wouldn't help him so he ended up going turbo. I moved away and never heard the whole story. It's just one of those things that sat in the back of my mind when I'd see a used Honda with a Jackson Racing supercharger. Thanks!
Got me feeling all nostalgic. My Dad bought one of the 2000 models Rs brand new and we autocrossed it growing up. It was stolen from his home when I had moved away for school. Great car, and still miss it.
+Andrew White As silly as it sounds, it is possible to have an idea of what its making based off of similar builds using similar parts. Its done often so relax.
How you thought that it may have had a K20 is beyond me; you being a car guy and as knowledgeable as you are. Because I love your vids and respect you as a person, I'll let it slide brother ;)
I had my UK DC2 ITR for seven years all told, 2000MY in black too! Fantastic drivers cars, I still miss it occasionally. I have an EP3 Civic TypeR these days, its a nice car but doesn't have the same character or driver involvement. Great to see one being kept clean, and a rare US model too! Nice one Ed.
Makes me miss my old 2000 ITR so much. Hopefully I'll someday have the opportunity, again, another one. It's 100%, a car to have in a car collection. Bseries love!
Beautiful car and obviously well taken care of. I love teggy type rs. I don't want to be the internet guy that says this or that is inaccurate but some of the comments made here I can't help it This guy seems nice enough, but appears to be more of a "car history guy" vs an actual "car guy". Meaning he can tell you all the printed and recorded info on the car that he has read and not any real information learned directly from experience. 278 WHP? I really doubt it - first of all he said he's never had it on a dyno and doesn't have any idea the amount of boost the Jackson racing kit makes. Most folks see 240-250ish at best with this kit. That's with all supporting mods and ideal tuning/circumstances.
+522SDHV sorry too many internet abbreviations Even for what this car is - most likely a 200 HP teggy I would have liked to seen Matt actually wind it out once or twice. Engaging VTEC is pretty much the whole point of these cars and shifts it like its an ls1 the whole time :(
4cyl_LOL .... Well, they did it on the first gen MR2 and it seemed to do just fine. There are limits on turbo's as well if that is what you are trying to get at.
***** Meh, that is a lie. There is NO replacement for the engine sound of a V8. But a 4 cylinder can beat a 6 or 8 and an 8 cylinder can beat a 10 or 12.
+zzzhuh Absolutely, a smaller engine can put out a great amount of power but not in stock form. That's what I was referring to. Stock motor vs stock motor. There are some 4 cylinders (and 6 cylinders) out there that work wonders, when you throw forced induction into the equation.
A good friend of mine has her yellow mostly stock with a tanabe exhaust type r teggy since highschool in 2000. It's almost mint with just a little bit of maintenance it would be brand new agian. It's such a great car I remember when I had my 96 Honda prelude VTEC with the h22 motor stock from factory and all I had was some DC sport ceramic headers and a 21/2in tanabe exhaust and they were dead even in a race and we raced alot trust me we would fill up Saturday evening and would be out of gas by 12 after racing around town for a few hrs lol those were the days! I sold my prelude with 388,000 miles and it still started and ran like it was off the showroom floor!
Great video like always, thanks for showing us this car Matt. One thing I want to mention though; I notice when I'm watching your video's that I need to turn down my sub-woofer all the way, and still get my desk resonating from the high bass. It makes watching your video's late at night only possible while wearing headphones... Something I can live with, but still worth mentioning in case other people have the same experience. Besides that, keep up the good work, I truly enjoy watching you video's for the content and for your character!
Seems like all the Honda's and Acura's you drive it's all very good cars. I still don't understand why people hate them. It's truly a experience where you have to experience it yourself to fully understand it. It's a race car where it's comfortable, reliable, and practical all at the same time while being a race car.
Saw an immaculate yellow Type-R in central-ish NJ on my way to work a few months back. On the way home I saw it again... it was rear ended. I shed a tear.
I grew up swapping Honda motors in the late 90's and being ecstatic about breaking into the 14's when dragstrips were open. Luckily I've been fortunate enough and got into higher end euro cars, but this would be a good addition to my garage for throw back Thursday's!
gmansplit lmao do you live under a rock bro, honda makes acura i had one of these and they say honda all over the place in small places. sounds like you need to go do some learning about cars.
those cars were absolute legends back in dublin every one wanted them from dc2 type r to dc5's. Japanese engineering at its best, and there is still loads for sale and still commanding the same price they did 8 years ago.
Man its so weird. Hondas and Acuras are pretty much the exact same cars, but The drivers of each are pretty different. No disrespect to the honda crowd but it seems Acura guys set up their cars much nicer and more purposful than the honda crowd. Conspiracy theory! is the Acura crowd just people who have matured from the honda crowd?....probably lol. I know there are some really nice hondas of course and some really trashy Acuras also but im talking about the majority here not the exceptions. Maybe its just where i live. Central FL. Sweet Ride man!
hey does your stock Acura type R have a K20? derp I find it hard to take this guy seriously along with other youtube car "guys" on here.. my car's overheating let me take it through a car wash.. that will cool it down derp
Your judging him because he didn't know the engine in this car? Seriously, he owns many cars and has driven almost everything. He knows cars just didn't know the displacement of a Honda engine. It's no big deal.
+Manuel Hernandez lol yes of course. Do you realize how stupid you look rolling up to ANYWHERE in a Type R and know nothing about it. Supercharging a rare car like that was dumb in the first place but hey it's his money/car.
I know!'n excusing this guy for completely coming unprepared, when you can easily Google search and become an "expert" at Honda engines. He was off by a whole generation lmao. I bet you repeatedly watch tv shows that suck and say it's okay the director did his best lol
Seattle808 off by 2 generations, and i'm no honda fanboy either. I just know my shit about car's and sometimes I have to smh is all.. No harm no foul lol, and I don't watch tv that shit rots yur brain.
When an older person owns a rare car such as this, most tend to never hack it up or highly modify it. I normally see tasteful simple mods. Thanks for not custom modifying the exterior and keeping it pretty original .. Other than the super charger under the hood that is which is totally awesome! 😆
Man you guy's are killing it with these one takes! Short of the shitter mini van, I haven't seen you guy's do a car I haven't been curious about. Keep up the good work!
Matt I wish you could get a chance to drive the mid-engine RWD H22 Prelude-powered Integra sometime. Originally built by Dave Dunn and started back in 2007-8 and finished around 2010 maybe. Tons of custom work and massive attention to detail. He literally made it look 100% factory built. I had the chance to photograph the car in Memphis back when he had just finished it and was driving it across the country. I'm not even sure if he even owns it anymore.
+TheSmokingTire My bad, it was actually started in 2004 (!!) and completed in 2007. Wow I can't believe it's been that long. His build thread on Honda-Tech and Team Integra is something of legend among the Honda community. Annnnnd that's me there on page 233, wow I had no idea my pic was there. haha www.team-integra.net/forum/19-projects-diy-article-talk/66688-94-gsr-mid-engine-rwd-h22a4-conversion.html
I love that an old dude rocks this.
+XLPCX I thought the exact same thing
He's what, 50-something? So he was in his 20s in the mid-late 1980's when Honda was starting to become awesome with the CRX and Civic Si, Prelude 2.0Si and DA Integra. Also, his son owns a tuning shop, so maybe he's into this because of him lol
+GT6SuzukaTimeTrials Ed is in his late 60's.
TheSmokingTire Well tell Ed he's a cool dude that's breaks stereotypes!
hearing what he has in his garage was cool
The fact that a old head is the owner of this is sick lol
It's these guys you need to watch out for. Like that old lady with a C63 AMG video.
you think you're going to get bored with cars and suddenly take up knitting or something?
Audfile He gets to Monday night bingo really quickly.
+J Lopez Old White dudes with GSR's are the dudes you gotta watch out for.
Rathanak why do you have to watch out for them Mr. Rathanaaakkkkkk!!!!?
You don't see a lot of old guys that drive these kinda cars, it's nice to see
***** mid to late 50s I'd say, not exactly young either
The Integra makes everyone feel 19!
I always see old white dudes in either clean ass GSR's integras, type r's or LS's where I live
Dude right! My auto systems tech teacher looks like he is in his mid 50’s and has an impreza wrx and a civic! We were all pleasantly surprised when he told us that he has and loves those cars!
I see one everytime I get in my 94 GSR... lol.
in all your honda videos you shift RIGHT as you're about to get into the power band
Yes he does lol
He doesn't really drive aggressively. He drives respectfully.
+Mr Cars agreed. But to enjoy a type R u need to rev it. Period.
+Doctor Ferdinand Ed was just the nicest guy, but he had no idea who i was really except that his son watched my videos. +TheSmokingTire you understand what it means to let someone drive your car.. what a great man i would have talked with him all day, great video
"There's no LS1 going in this" 👍
So I guess it's going to remain slow
+yomotha ga You're a dumbass.
+yomotha ga because v8s are the only things fast in this world lmao you are so ignorant about how engines work, he's not nearly close to pushing that engine to its max potential
There's not really a risk of an ls1 going in a fwd anyways. It's been done, I'm sure, but it's really uncommon
+Stuntihn MX no but u know wat they say u can polishe a turd bit its still guna be a turd at the wnd of the day lol

Rob M thats so sad...for the car....
Wow...that was an interesting read. Kid didn't deserve that car, was probably a spoiled brat.
If you sell your car to anyone they can do whatever the fuck they want to it if you can't accept that don't sell it
Damn that’s crazy
abcwarrior91 clearly you’ve never sold a car that you loved
You see guys, not all Honda's are ricers. Ones like these that are done properly are super clean and make decent power. Such a nice car and the owner is sound af!
I'd have never expected an old guy to drive a car like this. They're usually into luxury cars and $40,000+ sports cars.
Yup . Saw an old white man driving a stock CRX . It was beautiful

Great car but seriously you missed out by not doing at least a 1st and 2nd gear pull to redline. There's a reason the red line is 8500...because that's where all the magic happens.
Loved my 2000 Phoenix Yellow Type-R #625. One of the most fun cars I've owned. Brings back memories.
hits fresh pavement, punches the gas. love it.
that red Canadian interior though! One of the best FWD hands down!
did Matt just compare a ITR to a Fiesta ST? not comparable IMO.
+Drone Matter You'd make a better investment with the ITR. You'd win a race in the Fiesta ST.
I'm used to seeing super chargers on top of the engine, it's so cool to see one tucked away in the back. Beautiful car!
I love American muscle but fron Honda/Acura this Teg, the S2000, and the NSX are the shit and has my highest respect
this channel just goes the show car enthusiasts come from all platforms and ages
There's one in El Paso, Texas for 10k with 101k miles.
+shaggyusm26 That's bonkers - they are fairly common here and usually go for well under $10,000, and that is NZ dollars too, so that'd be about $6500 USD.
you can buy these by dozen in Australia.
+shaggyusm26 unless that thing had under 100 miles on the odometer, he got ripped off.
He didn't buy it, he passed. But, yeah, it was mint condition with very low miles.
Here is the story:
www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/a26856/acura-integra-type-r-buyers-guide/
Loved that the exterior is all oem. No aftermarket wheels, not SLAMMED and no ridiculously oversized wing
+Stig Msr I'm sure if you were willing to pay a pretty penny, you could take it to Kraftwerks and they'd rebuild it for you. :)
is just a typical eaton blower nothing special.
SportCar Motion has one on their 9th gen Si.
I love poppin VTEC first thing in the morning!
+JKFlorida I love poppin V period, gotta love those grandpa pills!
***** LMAO!
omg those red seats in the front and back are amazing!
How can he say it puts down 278hp to the wheels when he's never had it on a dyno and has no idea how much boost the blower is putting out?
That's what I was thinking kind of funny
its supercharged, its been on a dyno bro.
repti billy did you watch the video, he said it's never been dynoed and doesn't know how much boost it's making
+Andrew White As silly as it sounds, it is possible to have an idea of what its making based off of similar builds using similar parts. Its done often so relax.
+PyroBlonde7777 but to put a HP guess on your license plate is even funnier
How you thought that it may have had a K20 is beyond me; you being a car guy and as knowledgeable as you are. Because I love your vids and respect you as a person, I'll let it slide brother ;)
Hopefully my DC5 hold it's value like these.
it will, dont sell it
EK9GraphicDesign I would be a fool to sell such a fun car
The values on K20 hondas are going up. Especially if they're stock.
+Carlos if it's a type s it should
+Carlos Same here man. I don't think I could ever sell my type-s
I love those seats! Come on honda make cars like this again!
+Christopher Pauley agreed ,he said 278hp at the wheels then he said he hasn't dynoed the car?!.
+Christopher Pauley I've seen Type R's dyno stock around 167 to 175whp its beyond me how you can add 100whp to 1.8l with a JRSC, header, exhaust.
+522SDHV it's got a super charger on it
+Christopher Pauley A abbreviated Jackson Racing supercharger as JRSC.
+522SDHV sorry too many internet abbreviations
Even for what this car is - most likely a 200 HP teggy I would have liked to seen Matt actually wind it out once or twice. Engaging VTEC is pretty much the whole point of these cars and shifts it like its an ls1 the whole time :(
Oh I love this thing, such a nice, CLEAN example of absolutely fantastic car. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride, Matt!
Every 'tuner' or 'ricer' I have talked to always make a big deal out of their turbo's.
Best way to shut them up? Supercharger
Lmao sure especially on a 4cyl, supercharging is the way to go. No limits there right? /sarcasm
4cyl_LOL
.... Well, they did it on the first gen MR2 and it seemed to do just fine. There are limits on turbo's as well if that is what you are trying to get at.
+zzzhuh I love Jdm's (Utterly despise ricers) but as the saying goes there's "no replacement for displacement".
*****
Meh, that is a lie.
There are some 4 cylinders (and 6 cylinders) out there that work wonders, when you throw forced induction into the equation.
my favorite car! Ive owned 3! need another! Ive been waiting for him to review it.
"Is it a 5spd or a 6pd?" "This is a K20 right? "Is it a B18?" damn, smh..
thought the same
+Tommy Gun go back to school
Babu Dboy Oh, I've went alright and I received 2 degrees. You on the other hand need to re-evaluate your life and actually start going to school.
+Tommy Gun i was like really?! but to be fair, k20 swaps is very common nowadays.
+Tommy Gun He said that japonese cars aren't his strong.. At least he's not claiming stuff..
On my way to work (in New Jersey too) I saw and took pictures of a fresh looking, jdm Acura Integra Type - R in white and it looked amazing.
What a cool guy, great car too!
Yes, matt is asking people about there dailys. My dream has come true. Keep it up Matt. Keep asking about the car that people daily its important.
I sold my prelude with 388,000 miles and it still started and ran like it was off the showroom floor!
had the pleasure of meeting ED at honda day amd what a great guy and he is truely am enthusiasts!
Homie needs to give his son some credit, the guy made your exhaust lol
Great video like always, thanks for showing us this car Matt. One thing I want to mention though; I notice when I'm watching your video's that I need to turn down my sub-woofer all the way, and still get my desk resonating from the high bass. It makes watching your video's late at night only possible while wearing headphones... Something I can live with, but still worth mentioning in case other people have the same experience. Besides that, keep up the good work, I truly enjoy watching you video's for the content and for your character!
Talk about ending on a high note. fantastic car
i wish that guy was my grandpa lol he's chill imagine working and talking about cars with your grandpa
How much hp does your car make? 278 to the wheels... 6:20 .. Unfortunately we havent had it on a dyno yet. Eh wtf
DjayJohn I noticed that as well. how do u know 278 without dyno? just spec sheet from Jackson? lol.
He is probably just adding to the stock # he knows the sc at that boost level makes that hp
Seems like all the Honda's and Acura's you drive it's all very good cars. I still don't understand why people hate them. It's truly a experience where you have to experience it yourself to fully understand it. It's a race car where it's comfortable, reliable, and practical all at the same time while being a race car.
See!? Even us old guys love tuner cars!
That all red interior is very rare!!
0:23 "custom exawst" i love jersey accents
Underdose Awesome dude. I thought the exact same thing!
Underdose thank you for making me laugh.
Saw an immaculate yellow Type-R in central-ish NJ on my way to work a few months back. On the way home I saw it again... it was rear ended. I shed a tear.
yo. matt was in NJ? he should of met up with the Haggard Garage crew n drove their cars.
I grew up swapping Honda motors in the late 90's and being ecstatic about breaking into the 14's when dragstrips were open. Luckily I've been fortunate enough and got into higher end euro cars, but this would be a good addition to my garage for throw back Thursday's!
Dc2 type R's are amazing, got a b18c in my old mini :) Theres loads of dc2's in the uk tho
That thing would fly! Good build
Have had my integra RS for 10 years daily driver with 230,000 miles and still drives like a charm
is so sad thay homda lost they're magic in car's.
but they haven't lost the MPG doe xD
This isn't a Honda mate, this is an Acura. Check your facts.
gmansplit lmao do you live under a rock bro, honda makes acura i had one of these and they say honda all over the place in small places. sounds like you need to go do some learning about cars.
both you guys are wrong. this car is a Lamborghini
gmansplit Acura and Honda are the same shit bro.
Hes got canadian type r seats which makes it even more unicornish
Cool car what does he do to prevent it from being stolen?
+Tim Cocksmouth he doesn't leave it parked anywhere, ever.
+CertifiedKilos His son's shop is LOJ Performance in Little Egg Harbor, NJ
+TheSmokingTire That sucks but it's understandable
Yeah let's post in a public forum how this guy protects the most stolen car of all time...
Matt Kopeika lmao!! Only thing missing was the alarm code for the shop lol
those cars were absolute legends back in dublin every one wanted them from dc2 type r to dc5's. Japanese engineering at its best, and there is still loads for sale and still commanding the same price they did 8 years ago.
i wanna see you do a one take on of the haggard garage cars with orion XD
wasn't expecting an old dude when i saw the title, tbh. but thats awesome. integra is one of my need to have cars
a step higher would be the s2k. not the nsx
mmmmm power wise, yes. but the s2k is rear wheel drive and revs higher. I meant the model itself is a step higher.
MrGhost370 sure an ap2. but not an ap1
He was referring to the prestige of the car. Not the power or the rev range.
android 95203 the s2000 is a step but not by much. The itr was no slouch in comparison. Jdm 98 spec itr was a monster for a FF car.
sweet ride! I love the fact the exhaust is subtle with very little drone
I gotta say I'm impressed you recognized that Avanti.
Did the owner say, "I always wanted one as a kid"
find me one
'I always wanted one for years, and I'm not a kid'
me too then i grew up to realize these hondas are not that easy so obtain
good choice of seats, red 01 cdn seats, damn rare
"Is this is a K20?"😂
I went to the Dominican Republic this summer and there is A LOT like A LOT of these around...cars over there are crazy🔥🔥
hey does your stock Acura type R have a K20? derp I find it hard to take this guy seriously along with other youtube car "guys" on here.. my car's overheating let me take it through a car wash.. that will cool it down derp
+The Nonchalant Negotiator you failed to watch the video.
The sound of the downshifting 😍
so how does that have 278 to the wheels again
Jackson Racing Supercharger
but he said he hasn't yet had it on the dyno
Amazing car to end on for NJ. That's one of my absolute favorites. Front wheel drive or not that's one of the best all time cars
Looks kinda weird seeing an older gent driving a car usually for the 20--something enthusiasts.
7:85 "Is it really cool?"
I love that, no matter how eloquent a car journalist is, in the end, the petrol-head comes out.
This guy should stick to driving muscle cars. Put someone who appreciates these type of cars to test them.
Matt, I'm glad you going back to California. better road less traffic.
Wow this is crazy I just clicked on this video and saw you guys driving through my home town. Those roads are so bad now though lol. Great video.
that integra is absolutely beautiful and it sounds amazing
People like hating, but this is an epic little car. Good job Fera, and owner.
Annnnnd that's me there on page 233, wow I had no idea my pic was there. haha
