- This supercharged integra came by for a little work up and I was in for a treat. This hot rod integra was an absolute joy to drive and listen to. With a smooth power feel and instant torque it just had me smiling from ear to ear.

hey i have a 96 civic ex and just got a b18c1 could i use the the ecu that was in there it was a d16y8 that was in there
Daniel Difresne it will run lean but you can get buy if it’s a vtec ecu. I would look for a chipped p28 or a p72 ecu to get your motor running properly
@@danieldifresne563 nope the 2p2 ecu will be your best bet bud. Best of luck, an follow some Honda forums they can help you out a bit more with any further questions.

I think props goes out to any integra owner that resists doing a JDM front end conversion.
Maybe he was going for the '94-'95 JDM DC look.... Its the same as USDM.
Thats what I always say to people who are like "yo do a 'jdm' conversion" to every DC teg owner.

@@Thechildishmandingo i didn't realize there was a facelift mid generation on USDM DC tegs. It must be a fairly subtle change then.
I like the 4 headlight style the most so it stayed. I don’t like the JDM style front

No white letter DO NOT LOOK GOOD ON mini cars. White letters are for NASCAR type vehicles. Challenger, Camaro, Hellcat, Mustang GT but not a little toy car.

Hey guys, Thanks for the shootout and the kinda words. The LHT Intercooler makes the Supercharger way more reliable and consistent.

LHTPerformance . The guy on BESIM X CARS channel has a supercharged Integra that’s really nice. I was watching his videos and he mentioned he wanted an Intercooler for his. Do a collab with him! Get him an intercooler! Would be a cool video!

Got A automatic 98 Ls integra back in my sophomore year in high school such A nice car so easy to maintain. Always get compliments even tho it’s just my everyday! Have had it going on 7 years now and still running good love tegs so much!
I love watching pfi videos, its cool to see different cars and set ups but I mostly watch them because brent makes you feel like anything is possible! His positive attitude and ambition makes these videos addicting! Keep on keepin on boys!

I'm glad I stuck around for the Boosted Boiz and PFI Speed for the past 4 years. "Kyle drives it." Watching Kyle develop as a driver and as a person, warms my cold heart.
I really like the look of that Integra. I had a 1995 Integra GSR that I put the 2000 front clip on and ended up making it have 718hp in a B18A1. That was my daily driver for over 2 years. Ended up totalling it at the drag strip and put the engine into a CRX and ran 9.5 and a couple of 9.4's. Fun couple of cars and I still wish I had one of them.
What turbo setup we're you running on your B18?
@@joee4894 Been a while since I had the car. What I do remember was it was a Percision turbo. Don't remember the exact size because it was changed a few times.

@@ELIDOTORG I agree, if you built a car putting out 700+hp I'm pretty sure you remember what upgrades you had for the most part especially if it's a precision turbo. Ebay turbo I can understand if you say you don't know the size

I do miss your vlogs on it with the movie blurbs and all and I understand how much time it takes to do those and that it can hamper the actual time spent on the build. Superchargers are legit, I like how the power is always there as compared to turbos yet at varying degrees based on revs.
Allen Anderson depends on the turbo. With today’s technology you have turbo’s like Borgwarner EFR’s in all sizes which has insanely quick transient response and spool really fast, while still having top end power

Roots blowers are my favorite, especially on sport compacts, especially Hondas.

I remember a friend of mine having the Jackson blower on his ITR. Even though it only made 250whp it was so much fun driving.

Good call on checking that screw..something about the harmonics probably but every single rotor screw on every single Honda I own has has come out lol last one did actually come out while I was driving my integra! I have an integra too but it was converted to a dc2 from a dc4 and it has those same wheels, I thought it was my car at first glance, awesome car never the less

Nice to see a Jackson charger on a car boy does it bring back memories for me. If that dude really wants to wake that supercharger up on mine which I had mine on my 93 bubble hatch with a GSR swap but Jackson sells a smaller blower pulley think it might be a .25 can't remember had mine over 10 years ago but also a CRV crank pulley is supposed to up the boost to 10lbs. So if you get that Crv crank pulley with that smaller blower pulley and the boost upgrade kit those Jackson's actually make some Jam. It use to be fun blowing away mustangs, STI's, Evo's and a bunch of other turbo cars people couldn't comprehend that with a Jackson there's no boost lag it's instant boost...im guessing because his setup was only making 4lbs it has to be a type r motor.

One of my friends had a 2000 GSR with a JRSC running 7lbs. Fuckin thing was a highway monster back in 2004. The S/c whine was amazing.

My God the size of that throttle body on Shonuff! What is that like 300mm?! That exhaust outlet is wild too! And that turbo manifold Shaun made is a freaking beautiful! He's a artist! Wish he had nothing else to do and could work full time on it cuz it's almost painful how long it's taking! Hopefully it won't be too long and they'll get to take it down south somewhere this winter.

Had a ‘94 Integra GS-R with Jackson Racing Supercharger (6lb pulley), DC Sports header, ICE Man cold air intake, Tanabe Racing Medallion exhaust, Racing Hart C5 wheels, and Type R style JDM front end conv. w/ electron blue Civic Si paint. I miss it so bad!!!
I only dream of being as fortunate of having as great of a dad as Brent and learning all the skills goofy built is. Much love to everyone at pfi one day maybe I’ll be able to bring you guys a car 🤘🏼

That Integra is nice.
Clean and looks like a lovely daily with a good amount of zip.
But I also enjoyed the bonus content at the end with Shonuff and scoobyfied bug.
Those EJ20 motors drop nicely into a bug and with good internals take lots of boost.
But I believe that one has to build the motor to suit power it's going to be making, carefully.
Hell yeah, the FT600 is an amazing ECU, it's gonna be RAD!

Nice power for that measly 4.5psi of boost. The owner needs to pulley that JRSC up to 10psi or more and make some real power. 10psi and a small shot of nitrous, on e85, will really wake that setup up.

Very good ear sir. It's also pinging in low speed/load. Another issue I have with builders is when they have the money for buy go-pros and tunes but not enough common sense to reinforce the engine mounts and not touch the distributor rotor with greasy hands. Also, who the fuk gets a supercharger and runs 1.5lbs of boost lol

Supercharging are more circuit racing because u have consistent boost, more throttle response, and torque in lowere and mid range. Turbo lag makes car on circuit track a lot more tricky to drive.
@@situbes.972 he didnt say shit about a turbo, he said why is he running such low boost, there's almost no point cause you can make 222 wheel way more easily than supercharging and running stupid low boost
@@gracelynchristopher7858 truth is that the Jackson racing supercharger is big fat garbage. It's great for making a stock motor have over 200 whp, but it can't go much further beyond that. I've seen people claim 300, but I've never seen anyone get there and I'm too lazy to look rn. The simple fact of the mater is the jsrc set up is too small to put up big power figures. If you ever look at turbos and superchargers, they're never rated in PSI. they're rated in HP, because ultimately that's what they'll do. Hook up a 650hp turbo to a d series and that lil guy will try it's hardest to get there, even if that means no boost till 7000rpm. A turbo rated at 300 hp will starve the fuck out of an LS1, on the other hand.
Jsrc set ups are great for hearing a super charger whine, and flattening your power curve, but that's about it.
