Rich you really did knock it out of the park with this XS CHOPPER. I used to liike the Marine corps style better but this one has grown on me. This bike is sooooooo COOL.
Im humbled by your craftsmanship bro. Im a pretty creative guy but i keep coming back to this video and each time im inspired to put attention into another part of my build. I hope you don't mind me utilizing some of your designs. And thank you very much for the indepth video
@@164ChopShop awesome! My more recent experience in a machine shop will aid me in getting creative and also saving cost. It will be my first jocky shift and my first hardtail. A 9 inch stretch drop seat kz650. But I could talk about it all day 😂. Thanks again
Man what an insane XS. I feel like a lot of times dropping that seat so low looks a bit disproportionate, but the lines of this bike are fantastic! Top notch build, love the minimalist bars and tucked wiring. Awesome attention to detail!
Hey thanks! my goal was to show that there could be a great lookin drop seat (never saw one either). I love to build and when I retire from my regular job.... I may produce these. Just a thought that ive had for planning for "what the hell im gonna do when i retire" I really appreciate the respect!!! Thank you very much!
I love this bike. It’s my favorite xs build anywhere. I gotta know with the factory rake and forks with a 5 inch stretch how does it handle? I’m guessing pretty good
@@tibopouverel4564 35 degrees and about 13" tall. I could go that much with the bottom degree because of how narrow they are at the bottom compared to a regular bar. Hope that makes sense.
You people like the original military style or the chopper style best? Let me know here.
Chopper style 100%
Yes definitely the chopper style
@@164ChopShop years ago I would have said the military drag bike but these days I lean more towards the chopper.

Where did u get the manifold for the carb?
I built it outta exhaust tubing
Yo would you be willing to make and sell one of those 2 to 1 Intake manifolds?
What size sported the front wheel was off of?
1200 custom 02
what kind of frame is that?
Is a 1980 Yamaha xs650 frame. It’s been modified a little.
Nice job
Thanks!
Hey man, any chance we could chat about that too into an intake?
what would you like to know?
