  • How to configure internal networking between VMs using VirtualBox. This will allow your virtual machines to communicate with each other using internal networking static IP addressing.
    In this video, we will go over how to create internal networking between virtual machines using VirtualBox. We will change NAT to Internal and set static IP on the VMs, and test connection between the VMs by using Ping command.

    I've followed this tutorial exactly. I got to the part where you ping the other vm however it failed to ping. :( Any idea as to why?

      You might need to enable "Network Discovery" and the "File and Printer Sharing" on both of the VMs.

    great great great!!! thank you! and one more q: how to connect them to the internet?

      You should be able. On your VM setting go to Network tab, and you can see that you have adapter 1, adapter 2 and more. On Adapter 1 tab, make sure NAT is selected, and on Adapter 2 make sure Internal is selected. Please see this video, it might help: th-cam.com/video/rV2I2RCAH00/w-d-xo.html

      Make sure Network Discover and File/Print sharing are enabled. Also, make sure your IP addressing are correct.

    Sir very helpful
    But can you plz make a video on creating un EC2 virtual machine which can me operated by multiple users simultaneously basically I want to create single machine and install a software on it and that software can be used by multiple users through that single virtual machine through multiple logins
    Is it possible 🙏🙏🙏

      I would say to use Terminal Server. docs.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-server/remote/single-application-sharing-with-terminal-server

    If it doesn't work, try also enable all sharing options including the printer inside the VMs

    What if I can't run both virtual machine all at once? What should I doo??

    • @PeymanTechMedia
      @PeymanTechMedia  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      As you know, Virtual Machines (VMs) are running on your physical PC. Therefore, you must have enough disk space, memory (RAM) and good CPU installed on your physical computer, so your virtual computers could run at the same time. I am assuming that is the case for you. Therefore, I would add more RAM or lower the RAM amount on your VMs. Still depending on the error message you need to troubleshoot to see what is the main cause.

    If I will be creating 3 virtualboxes (1 domain controller, 2 servers) with failover clustering set up, what network adapter and IP addressing setup would be applicable for this setup? Thank you!

    • @PeymanTechMedia
      @PeymanTechMedia  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You could use NAT if VMs are accessing the Internet as well, or you could have internal network with static IP addressing assigned to the VMs. Please keep in mind that all the VMs are still located on one physical PC. Therefore, speaking about failover clustering it would be better to have them on multiple separate physical PCs.

    Why the network icon shows the cable disconnected on the server?

    • @PeymanTechMedia
      @PeymanTechMedia  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do not see any red X on the network icon. I only see that the network adapter does not have the internet connection.

    Can you make a video regarding ip route using 2 VM VirtualBox?
    And can we set static ip using NAT options in the network?

    • @PeymanTechMedia
      @PeymanTechMedia  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      On the VM setting, Network tab, you can enable multiple adapter. Adapter 1 could be NAT, and Adapter 2 tab could be for Internal connection only. Please see this video for more information: It might help: th-cam.com/video/rV2I2RCAH00/w-d-xo.html
