The clarifications from many learned Vedic scholars in the last few days have changed my mind to postpone buying the book until an erratum is released. I always tell younger generation that you are under illusion that your generation is smarter than previous generation. The same applies to me. Our Rishis, ancestors and acharyas are precious.
Happy to note that we don't tolerate misinformation even within ourselves. What you are doing is right Sir. People may come and go but vedas are eternal. Kids who are told stories of Ramayan and Mahabharat will get confused. Lets keep traditions intact for good order sake.

What has not been corroborated by Valmiki, TulsidAs and Kamba RAmAyaNam, ancient palm-leaf manuscripts, and as delineated by Periyavaacchaan PiLLai and other sampradAya vyakhyAnams cannot be accepted blindly as following traditional Indian scholarly research tradition. It is nothing short of a sad spectacle, that swAmin has taken the pains to bring it to public attention and awareness. SwAmin stay blessed as always!🙏

Dr. Jayasree got into an argument with me for questioning her appropriation of Vanaras as "Humans whom hid from Parasurama" apparently. While the Itihaasa Sri Valmiki Ramayanam mentions, their bodies were covered with hair, eyes were yellow or of other color and had appearance of great apes but stood as tall as trees - which is not poetic extrapolation since the Itihaasas are written with astrological references to present the Truth "As it Happened".
Sri Valmiki Ramayanam, Sundara Kandam, Sarga 32, Slokas 1 - 7 consists the description of Bhagwan Sri Anjaneya from the point of view of Devi Sita. One can visit IIT Kanpur Sri Valmiki Ramayanam online to read the mentioned parts. It is clearly given Sri Anjaneya's hair was like a bunch of "Asoka flowers". His hair was "red" in color but his "Vastra" was "White like lightning". He had "Yellow eyes" and "curved face" with "tawny skin colour" - the colour of Indian skin - light brown/tanned. So what does this say ? Does this look like a Human or a mere monkey ? Clearly they were of a different "race" altogether and as mentioned were progeny of Maharishis. So they had superhuman abilities. Vanara had origins from humans but were superhuman.
Hence, Dr. Jayasree totally eclipsing the evidence from the Itihaasas, with her own work based on a "rock edict" from Vijayanagara empire that mentions "descendants of Bali" having run from Parasurama, without even determining if it was the Brhadbanas - whom called themselves descendants of Sri Mahabali or Bali of the Ramayana. ....
This sort of misappropriations these scholars are into.

Sir at the outset I would like to say that I am not a fan of DS or JS. Respecting your yoeman service to the Dharma, i would like to express a few things
1) In Sanatana, timeline is always relative, and whatever research one does, all time based inference is relative. We believe in Pralaya and multiple epochs and universes. Any amount of time based reference is relative
2) Having said that, is time important, yes, but not beyond the messages and inspirations of the Granthas. It is good to say Ramayana is some T (time 1) BC or not Y (time 2) BC. This helps in saying it is so long back before the timeframes of the modern day, so as to not dilute it.
3) But the living entity is the Grantha. Its pointers and the inspiration is far more important than the relative time periods. To spread the word like Ananta Rama Dikshitar or Mukkur Lakshminarasimhacharyar or the contemporary greats is more important than timeline accuracy as its relative in our Dharma. Do we know when was Skanda Purana was written. Its too far off to debate
4) On the other hand we believe timelines refresh and repeat. There is no real meaning in timelines except for operational efficacy and for political correctness
5) Everyone has a space and everyone does what they do. If not for DS, many young generation folks would not have learnt about the Granthas. People have their space, their time and work.
6) Having a debate with them is good than to use strong words like Poli etc etc. What do we get by saying they are Poli?
7) You are doing an amazing job, lets say some say you are just doing time-pass and HR & CE is still not dissolved or many temples are not yet got their due, would it be fair on your YOEMAN service?
8) Lets inspire, debate or agree to disagree... Lets not dumb down someone's work by telling one is Poli...
9) Guhasayaaya Guhyaaya Guhyavidya Swaroopine... Kuharaante Vihaaraya, SriNrusimhaaya Mangalam... Guhyavidya is more important than all this... Thats the seat of Nrusimha... Request is to not dumb down anyone sir. Thanks
