Glad you liked it and the different viewing angles are welcomed. CoH3 is such a nice game to watch I thought it's nice to break up birds eye view learning with an occasional cinematic perspective :)
@@StephennJF Obviously, a lot of effort went into this video and you have a pleasant voice and relaxed attitude despite your level. Keep up that good work and I will definitely check out your work in the future too!
The veterancy upgrade for WM is Officer Quarters, worth noting that it also hits the sapper which give them better capture rate, Grenadier get their medkits, and it also incidentally hits the HMG as well. It also works on basic BG units like the Airborne Sapper, Coastal, and the Artillery Officer. Stoss is unique in that they are 1 of 2 unit that have armor the other being the Gustatori. 1.25 on the Stoss and 1.5 on the Gustatori, this lets them bounce shot from normal small arms fire similar to tanks 1/5 shot will bounce on Stoss and 1/3 will bounce off Gustatori, except from LMG which does have over 1 in penetration. This lets the LMG paratroopers do a bit more damage to the Stoss but only 2 models have it. The Stoss despite looking fragile has more health then an Infantry section and has the armor, they carry the best LMG and it can be fire on the move, they are like a very elite version of the Tommy section doing more then 2x their damage at all ranges and still do more damage then the section armed with a bren. They do more damage then the LMG paratroopers but trade when adjusted for health. However, they still got one ace up their sleeves if vet 1 and that shock assault, just a big ole' "I win" button. "Cannot fire on the move" really isn't that big of deal for winning engagements because the ideal range for those type of LMG is 35 distance, just find the best cover and have them come to you. However, it does make force it to be a more defensive weapon and makes it a big difficult wipe unit once they retreat. Otherwise, LMG are just often just better bolt actions with two types assault lmg like the BAR or Brenda or the longer range ones like the Bren or M1919A6, the Stoss' MG42 is basically both. Ranger can fire on the move with any weapon as a baseline ability.
wow, that was some video, thanks for the paratroopers BG info. that is great to know. if u can for each BG for Americans it will be wonderful. Thanks !
My fave battlegroup. What you can do in the late game where you are usually just waiting for fuel and have some floating manpower is constantly para drop supply runs. It gives 80 ammunitions for 120 manpower and some healing. Its really strong and one of my favorite combo is the one above and air support center. You will never run out of ammunitions in the late game with this battlegroup.
Great point! I could of used it late game here for sure. I've had a few interesting circumstances where I've used it in the early game and delayed the healing medical tent. It can give the USF a huge early game power spike push with 2 Pathfinder rifle grenades, 1 Para cooked grenade and LMG upgrade.
What unit would you like to see focused on in the next episode? Let me know in the comments to make your vote!
Maybe some Axis unit?
The dingo please!
i would love to see a video about guastatori or the flammenpanzer 3
UK commandos?
Hi could you do a guide on AT gun placing?

Thanks Stephen, great insights!
Really appreactie the tips. I struggle for map control in 1v1 without a LV, causing a lot of fuel problems, and these tips really help
Happy to help! :)

Yeah anticipating the opponents movements with Paratroopers is really important. They are definitely a defensive unit.
Great commentary

Hey space bar lets you pause when in replays , just an FYI
Thank you! I'm slowly getting my head around the replay function hotkeys. It'll make for smoother camera movements in the future! :)
