Theres nothing much to see as its miles of continuous spruce plantation. Its a mysterious spooky place and thats the attraction for me but its not for everyone.
Then you can compare what you see an what surviorman sees. It's pretty interesting an I 💕 ke what your vidios reveal. Also. I like the one where the hair is close to a humans in surviormans looked like the hair you found. Keep up with he whoops an knocks I enjoy them all.

I've been pondering where Jimmy's camp is and although I know the forest quite well, I haven't got a clue where it is so good luck anyone finding both camps. It would be pot luck to find either.

When the nocks happened, there was movement around Christophers hammock so I reckon he was playing tricks on me. The audio recorder is very sensitive and picks up everything close by. If I was alone and the nocks happened I would have been confident to say it wasn't human. I've heard a lot of strange things in Harwood and because of the remoteness and time of night, means its very unlikely to be other people making noises.

The sounds recorded were in a remote area and well before dawn so unlikely to be other people. Some could be cattle but there aren't any close by I know about.

I think people will start looking for the camp so might take some stuff away. I never leave anything really valuable but still don't want anything taken.

I wont be over to the Lakes much because we sold the caravan near Carlisle but we are looking to get a campervan soon and plan on doing some trips there and I'll be up the fells while the wife and kids sleep in the van. I watched your last video up Sale fell, looked a mint spot with great views. I like those sorts of places where you can get parked easy and not bump into many people. The area around Crummock water, Buttermere and Ennerdale is great for that.

Actually Damian: Long hair does not a hippy make! [trying to sound like Yoda]. Many hippies, have short hair or no hair, I have met! Of course I am growing mine forever, and with my very high "tall forehead", my hair is thin and slow-growing, but every bit of hair is a comfort. This past summer, I actually felt warmth on my upper back getting me too hot!

Deer tend to be on the edge of the forest where there is green vegetation for them to eat. I've never seen one in as deep as my camp where there is no food so I think they are safe.
i was hoping you could help me mate. i really really want to get into wild camping and fishing but everywhere i research i get deterred by the regulations and legalities. Do you seek permission for camping for just wing it and hope you dont get caught? have you ever been caught before? did you posses a fishing permit or eu rod licence in any of your wildcamp or fishing videos? see mate i really like the sport and i like to feel free and it sickens me how weve all got to be punished with stupid laws and regulations for damages our ancestors did. can you give me some tips or advice on how to get started. ive got unreal gear and knowledge its just ive never been able to test myself properly with proper wild camping.... id love to try it out
I never seek permission for wild camping and have only been asked to move on once, at Mitford castle. I guess I was trying my luck by camping in an old castle and was only a matter of time before someone spotted me. I usually camp in more remote locations and never leave any trace so have only been stopped the once in all the years I've been doing this. When fishing, I do have a permit and rod licence. The best advice I can give is always seek permission to camp where possible and arrive late, leave early and leave no trace. Wild camping is tollerated in some areas like Kielder, Lake District, Cheviot hills and other national parks so long as you respect the countryside and don't camp in a farmers back garden. Best gear to use is army surplus, its cheap, reliable and although not the lightest option, a good start non the less until you find what kind of camping you like and upgrade gear when needed.

Being a Spruce plantation, every tree looks similar so the views aren't great. its the mysterious nature and spookiness of the place is what I like.

Harwood forest is only an hour from me, keep meaning to visit, might cycle around there 🙂 looks great
The tracks are fairly flat and cycle friendly. I like the place because you don't see many people and is very peaceful.

Over the years I've heard a lot of unusual sounds, some maybe animals but I never hear anything like it in other places so its a bit of a mystery

Yes I think they could be anywhere and everywhere because I believe they have the ability to cloak.

I find sheep wool on tree branches, too high for the sheep to leave it there. If I find hair I will definitely bag and get it tested.
