I've seen several reviews of this model and this video is the only one I've seen that does a good job of capturing the sound.

The original CP Hudson and this model steam locomotive are great. The ESU sound is fantastic and the model is very well presented.

Is the engine-tender coupling safe to try to unplug once they’re connected? I don’t want to risk damaging anything if I have to disconnect them at a later time for storage, selling etc

Yeah, that came apart okay when I put it back in the box. What I was nervous about was pushing it in and making sure the plugs were properly aligned. The engine also feels very fragile so finding a good spot to hold it is also a challenge.
