    I"m a Seahawks fan, and I have to admit, I loved watching Elway play... I watched him live one time at the Kingdome back in the early 90's, and he threw that ball like a baseball, low and where it was hard to intercept... Truly one of the greats... His style was just fun to watch ... Yeah he caused me some pain, but I respect the guy ...

    My dear friends in Denver were on the phone w/me & when John won we were jumping, screaming, & so happy! He was surrounded by so many special players too. I could watch the videos every day. No matter what anybody says, John Elway was a leader of our beloved Broncos & he was surrounded by many great players & coaches too. He made Broncos' football breath taking & exciting & very nerve wracking too!! I love him & always will. GO BRONCOS!!!

    You watch these 'old' games and I could count multiple late hit penalties as they would be called today, helmet to helmet, spearing, etc. It is a totally different game today.

    Tim Tebow was the Epitome of Elway...Tebow was Drafted by Broncos while Elway was President...& Tim had a Tremendous-Win over the Steelers in the Playoffs...Next-Year Tim Tebow was TRADED-Away & Never-Got the Glory He-Seemed Destined-For~~~

    I grew up an Oilers fan. I was not celebrating the Moon TD pass with a minute and change left in the 1992 game. Too much time for Elway. I dreaded that scenario as much as being at the dentist office.

    the 80's was the best decade for the NFL, followed very closely by the 70's and 90's. AND, this cat, Elway made it so. Just my opinion.
    P.S. I'm a Giants fan, so no bias towards/for Elway, Denver.

      jmaal2345 70's were great w/ about 4-5 great teams...steelers, raiders, dolphins, cowboys and vikes.

      Well he did have a HOF tight end and a great QB always need a great guy to throw it to (Like Montana with Rice, or Brady with Gronk)

      Yes seeing the Mile High Magic was 1million times more exciting & nerve wracking than any other NFL games!! I truly believe there was magic @ Mile High too!! Thx for this video!! I could watch these all day every day!!! And Mr. Bowlen was such a nice, caring owner too. I loved the relationship b/him & John. Loved the Super Bowl win when John held up that trophy & said 'This one's for Pat!!!" & then Mr. Bowlen saying the same to John!

    THE best announcer of them all : Bob Martin ! ----------------------WolfSky9

    • @bishlap
      @bishlap 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bob was great, indeed, BUT, The greatest of them all was Ray Scott of the GB Packers... even here in NYC we'd listen to Ray do the CBS game of the week...only pimple on Ray's career was joining The Vikes after GB let him go. Loved Bob Martin, but #1 is Ray Eugene Scott.

    Elway is a BEASY!!!!!

  • @ss_whole
    @ss_whole 10 ปีที่แล้ว

    Why is it that when Elway ventures out of the pocket, he's a great scrambler, but when Tebow does it, he's judged as not being an NFL caliber quarterback?

    • @paddyjoedoonin
      @paddyjoedoonin 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because Elway can actually do other things as a quarterback.

    • @MichaelSoldwisch
      @MichaelSoldwisch 10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Elway could throw the ball three times before Tebow could finish winding up and Elway would throw twice as far and more accurately. Tebow sucks because he's lukewarm as a QB. He probably would have been better if he trained as a Tight End. He doesn't have the arm.

      Super Kyle is this even a question? Smh SERIOUSLY

    • @Wolfsky9
      @Wolfsky9 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Super Kyle Sir, to you & " Lennysunday" : surely, you can't be serious!! The difference between # 7 & Tebow --& I liked Tebow--was that in addition to being able to run, #7 had that monster arm, & he was made to be a QB. In college, so was Tebow. But all you have to do is recall how NE defensed him AFTER The Steelers game. They did that because Tebow could NOT pass. Period. Look at the KC game. 4 completions ??? all game??? Enough said. +neurotransmitter cause tebow was better and would have won sb quicker

    • @Lennysunday
      @Lennysunday 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +neurotransmitter what the fuck are you talking about ... name one lefty in the nfl??? they dont want his type in the nfl thats why he isnt in the league ... he holds playoff passing records 31.6 per pass ... elway could not do that .. look at that shit offense they put tebow in .. wtf was that shit .. fuck the nfl

    • @Lennysunday
      @Lennysunday 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +neurotransmitter he isnt playing . lol practice squad?? and did you see those play calls ... they acted like he was a special needs qb

    • @Lennysunday
      @Lennysunday 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +neurotransmitter he would have been greater if he got the chance ... but he didnt .. he would have won a sb in his second starting year.. elway was scared un his first 3 super bowls

    • @Lennysunday
      @Lennysunday 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +neurotransmitter he only started equivalent to one season? and made it to the divisional round...elway onky got a ring with terrell davis..and denver cheated the salary cap they were loaded

      Kansas City "Couldn't hold a lead over Elway if our lives depended on it" Chiefs. Also Montana, Brady, etc. cheated plenty more times and in more serious ways than Elway did.
