  • In an earlier video, I discussed replacing my Logitech rudder pedals with Thrustmaster Pendular Rudder (TPR). TPR is great, but it needs adjustment. When I posted about it on Facebook, a lot of folks recommended the damper mod. I bought the damper mod made by Cubesim (based in China). Someone is reselling this product on Amazon as Palumma. In this video, I show the installation of the damper mod and how smoothly the TPR rudder behaves with the mod. Way smoother, and very easy to adjust the resistance.

Excellent video that clearly explains the proper installation of this device. I wasn't aware that this mod was even available and after watching the video, I'm tempted to buy one. I love my TPR's and I've had them for at least 5 years. Do you find you can get much more resistance with this device? That is really my biggest gripe on these pedals. The springs are way too light. Thanks for a great video.

Yes! The damper mod takes the TPR to another level. Totally worth the investment, highly recommend it.

looks great, but a 599$ expensive rudder pedal should not need any mods in my opinion.

Totally… I wish the whole thing didn’t cost as much.

Your video "Install Honeycomb under desk mount from FlightSimBuilder" led me to buy them. And now this...I have had my TPR for a long time, DCS and Xplane and now MSFS PC. I almost picked this kit up in Xplane...TPR's are far from perfect and the sloppy centering has always frustrated me. I would love to see you do a follow up on this, Does it any have problems in day to day use, any failures with the printed parts?

Hope you are getting good value out of the videos! The 3D printed parts seemed fine when I installed them. Will definitely do a follow-up video after few months of usage and report any issues I encounter.

@@StudentPilot4Life Sweet on the follow up...And please keep doing these, you are doing things I've not seen any where else...

Thx for this. What material are those 3d printed damper holders that are attached to the pedals? Are those parts durable?

They seem pretty sturdy and durable. I’ll see how they hold up after few months of usage. Not sure what the 3D printing material is… feels like solid plastic.
