I’m really glad I found this video because one of my coworkers asked me if I could do his rear brakes. I had a feeling they weren’t as simple as regular vehicles. That’s a great tip about using a lug nut to hold the rotor in place.
i did my brakes but i did not have the caliper tool. i just used a flat blade screwdriver to push back the piston before i took off the caliper. pry the piston back by putting the screwdriver between the pad and bracket, then pry. it moves back slow but it works
I bought the caliper tool from Autozone even though one reviewer said he broke it on this very vehicle. I’m guessing he didn’t retract the parking brake first because I didn’t have any problems with it.
Really appreciate the time you took to make this video for everyone. Thank you!
Very nice video
I successfully changed my coworker’s rear brake pads earlier today thanks to these videos. I’m really glad I watched them.

These guides do not need to be lubricated. Structurally, they must be dry and clean.
My Pacifica doesn't have the touch screen radio like that but the 4 inch one.. Any tips for the emergency brake?
I had the impression that turning the piston was necessary
The rear brakes on these pacificas are twist style, how you press it in?
I just did my 2017, the rear just pushed in. As I recall, the front need to be screwed in, I did them a couple years ago.
