ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I don’t even know why they bothered releasing the CW Spidey while also releasing that final swing spidey. Which is the best MCU spidey they’ve ever done. The other figures look pretty good for just being reissues but they definitely could’ve fitted another figure other than Spider-Man into this Infinity Saga (sub?) wave

Didn't know that Civil War Spider-Man has shapeshifting powers, because in-package the alternate unmasked head was a reissue of the Homecoming civilian head, but when you went over it, you attributed it the Infinity War unmasked head.
The CW Spidey is the most useless, lazy and inaccurate re-release ever made. Shitty move Hasbro, for me it can stay on the store shelf forever
definitely agreed, Hasbro should've made a completely new sculpt head to toe so not only can we have a more accurate look, but have the articulation we had with the Renew Your Vows spider man figure as the articulation on the infinite saga civil war spider man isn't good anymore for spider man figures.

If you want a cheap but unreal looking MKII Iron Man figure, ZD toys makes the most incredible looking 7 inch figure, absolutely jaw dropping and leaves anything hasbro makes for dead, which kind of sucks because I love my hasbro MK3 and MK7 suits

I just got Bruce and Thor for my birthday and I am really happy with the photo realistic tech that hasbro used to sculpt into their head sculpts love them both

Great review, Shart! For me, I was excited for a Winter Soldier Black Widow since the leaks came out in late 2022! I did end up picking up Black Widow, Thor, War Machine, Stealth Suit Cap and Bruce and I may pick up Mark 2 at some point. I still think Black Widow is my favorite out of all of them and Bruce is right behind her! She’s in my MCU shelf with the Winter Soldier head and looks great. I did end up putting the shorter/wavy hair headsculpt on the age of Ultron body and it looks pretty solid to me! I do hope the next Infinity Saga wave whether if that’s this year or next year will go back to being a mix of new and re-releases like in 2021!
An unmasked Rhodes headsculpt would have made the MKII more desirable, I’d be curious to see who got more screen time wearing this suit. Regardless I hope to see some kind of new war machine soon

I *might* consider getting that Black Widow since I don't really have a BW figure. That Spidey reissue is so lazy, the spider logo on his chest isn't even screen accurate, since it was the one used in the early mock-ups before it was digitally rehauled for the final onscreen version. I'm not a big fan of generic "man in suit" figures, so I'm not very interestes in the Bruce Banner fig.

I dont mind the re-release of the cw spidey only because i havent been able to get one when they had first cane out with both the civil war first release and homecoming
Really wanted that BW for the better head/face but can't get past that inhuman thigh gap. Just ridiculous to release that twice. Mark II Iron Man is good but should have a brighter silver to match the actual movie. Banner is probably the best of the bunch, which figures, since it's the only one I don't care about.
I'm glad I got the Spider-Man figure, as I never got the original Civil War suit. Also got the Widow, along with the Cap from Winter Soldier, which I was excited to get my hands on, and the updated Iron Man Mark 46. I love the original release of the 46 because it's one of my fave armors, but I was never satisfied with the way you can pose it. The new version fixes it and looks great.
Ross will definitely get their hands on this wave of figures for at about $5-$10.
I only went for the Black Widow, that I didn't need, and the Bruce Banner. I am a Sucker for Black Widow! I have so many Black Widows that I have turned 9 into Evil Widows and my DC Earth's have Black Widows! I have a Black Widow, (not Natasha), in my WW2 Invaders!
These are the exact four character I bought from these rereleased figures. They were all pretty great but the black widow was exceptional.

A cobweb is just NOT what Spider-Man deals with, in any way! A cobweb is an old web that's been there long enough to collect dust. The pattern on Spidey's suit is just a standard, straight up web or webbing design, no cobwebs anywhere to be seen!

The only figure that I picked up was the mk. 2 armor as like you, I only have the one from the 2008 line in 6” scale, I have one from 2010s 4” series but definitely needed this one to help round out the first films armors, I might pick up the other iron man and war machine but I already have them both and am more focused on the superior iron man they announced this last week.
Honestly I just want a new mcu hulk like a remade version of the Avengers 2012 hulk

That new re-release MCU Bruce Banner looks hilariously out of proportion. Thick upper body and thinass lower body. Looks like Banner skipped leg day almost to the extreme🤣 If they're going to redo Black Widow's upper body, then they should've redone her lower body as well to make her look more proportionate. Spidey is just lazy reuse and they didn't even bother painting in the web pattern. M2 Ironman looks ok at best. Overall this wave is a pass. Partially pinless joints with outdated sculpts don't mix too well. That's Hasblow for yall... 1 step forward and 3 steps back. The only saving grace are the photo-real faces, but it's not worth coughing up 25 bucks for each fig.
