I'm so annoyed we don't get Movie licensed games nowadays cause imagine a game based on the John Wick films or Kingsman or Pacific Rim? I can picture a kingdom hearts styled game based on Ready Player One. In terms of superheroes, I'd kill for a Daredevil, Flash, Ant Man or modern Iron Man game.

Hulk Ultimate Destruction was a way better Hulk game than the movie tie in which was horrible, agree though the Captain America game was actually pretty good.
Unlikely they'll ever make a console tie in game again. There's no money in it anymore. People and publishers either want standalone superhero games (like Arkham or Spiderman ps4) or mobile games
The revenge of the sith tie in game was actually really good. It offered a look into order 66 and has the best lightsabre combat in any star wars game.

Never thought Insomniac would ever end up making Marvel games, but I think they've got the right formula for Spiderman. Even though it won't be MCU, I would love to see a full universe of games from them. As long as they're still able to make games they love.

I wish that these types of videos would cover all the weird versions as well there are iPhone versions, DS versions, PSP versions, and Wii versions which are usually quite different. And in some cases like the DS THOR game you bring up actually great games.
Damn, I loved the Iron Man 1 and 08 Hulk game on ps2. I used to have to rent them from Movie Gallery every other week and play both as much as possible before returning them. I did eventually get them a few months later on my 9th or 10th birthday. I want to find and play through them again since my ps2 is still going strong.
I don't get Iron Man 2 (movie) criticism. Sure nothing is perfect and they forced in pre-baked Avengers tie-ins, but as far as I'm concerned, the Iron Football and final battle scene were well worth the price of admission. One of my favorite MCU movies to be honest. And how on earth could we get to Endgame if they hadn't forced pre-baked Avengers tie-ins?
I'd love to see a game like Marvel ultimate alliance but specifically with mcu characters and stories. The scale and depth of MUA was amazing and I feel the MCU is finally getting grand enough to match it

Where did licensed games go, we used to get all sorts of games on all sorts of films releasing side by side for maximum profit. I just loved it tho, some were good some were meh but I wish we could just get it nowadays. I remember the likes of the batman begins game, the tmnt game alongside the movie, there was the die hard trilogy on ps1, the lord of the rings games, I had loads of superhero games, Spider-Man 2000, movie games 1, 2, 3, friend or foe, shattered dimensions, web of shadows, tasm1 and 2, hulk, hulk ultimate destruction, the Incredible Hulk, Iron man 1 and 2 there were just so many. I see many people making this claim but couldn't find a statement from Feige explicitly stating that AoS isn't canon, which would explain why people continue to debate whether it's canon or not. The show has many references about the events of the MCU and directly ties into the MCU on several occasions. Of course there are a few plot points from the MCU that are not mentioned in the show, but they originally did plan for it to be canon. They might just confirm it to be canon now since Daredevil is getting a show again, and initially they were planning to make it a reboot but now it's confirmed to be a continuation of the Netflix series, therefore confirming that the Netflix shows are canon to the MCU too not just the Disney+ originals. In this case they'd most likely keep AoS canon to the MCU as well.
Poor Thor. He has what is considered the worst MCU game (God of Thunder) and the worst MCU movie (Dark World). (Although I liked Dark World and don't consider it the worst).
The Iron Man 2 game competes with Thor: God of Thunder in terms of being the worst. At least the DS version of the Thor game was good. Dark World is definitely not even close to being considered as the worst MCU movie now. Back in Phase 3 itself, we had Antman and the Wasp, and Captain Marvel competing in that regard. As of now, the MCU has released more worse movies and out of them, Antman 3 has taken the worst spot.
I also miss the days when video games where based on movies. Especially superhero movies. And Captain America was definitely a step in the right direction

I remember the likes of the batman begins game, the tmnt game alongside the movie, there was the die hard trilogy on ps1, the lord of the rings games, I had loads of superhero games, Spider-Man 2000, movie games 1, 2, 3, friend or foe, shattered dimensions, web of shadows, tasm1 and 2, hulk, hulk ultimate destruction, the Incredible Hulk, Iron man 1 and 2 there were just so many. I miss the variety we used to get.

@@raidenstark315 what was confirmed? Agents of Shield? While it certainly had AoS tributes and reference, Kevin Feige has said that none of the shows thus far aside from the Disney+ originals are canon. The Darkhold exists in Marvel, not exclusively in Agents of Shield.

@@loserscorner6746 When has Kevin Feige actually said that? I see many people making this claim but couldn't find a statement from Feige explicitly stating that AoS isn't canon, which would explain why people continue to debate whether it's canon or not.
The show has many references about the events of the MCU and directly ties into the MCU on several occasions. Of course there are a few plot points from the MCU that are not mentioned in the show, but they originally did plan for it to be canon.
They might just confirm it to be canon now since Daredevil is getting a show again, and initially they were planning to make it a reboot but now it's confirmed to be a continuation of the Netflix series, therefore confirming that the Netflix shows are canon to the MCU too not just the Disney+ originals. In this case they'd most likely keep AoS canon to the MCU as well.

Poor Thor. He has what is considered the worst MCU game (God of Thunder) and the worst MCU movie (Dark World).
(Although I liked Dark World and don't consider it the worst).

The Iron Man 2 game competes with Thor: God of Thunder in terms of being the worst. At least the DS version of the Thor game was good.
Dark World is definitely not even close to being considered as the worst MCU movie now. Back in Phase 3 itself, we had Antman and the Wasp, and Captain Marvel competing in that regard. As of now, the MCU has released more worse movies and out of them, Antman 3 has taken the worst spot.
Fun fact: the engine used for the Incredible Hulk movie tie in game was modified and turned into the engine now famous for the [PROTOTYPE] duology.
