    Hi Rizillion , I like how you converted that That Epson 1430 to DTF,
    I have a question I own a Epson R2400 and I would like to convert it To DTF,
    The closest person on TH-cam that explains the conversation to Epson has been you,
    I was wondering if the procedure to convert my Epson R2400 will be similar to what you did with Epson 1400,?
    I saw your video today 3/16/24

    Hello i see you say you put the cutting mat in the feeder.Can you show exactly how you put it in there ? When I tried it tried to take the mat. Also my 1400 will not catch the paper its just rolling through .Now last night it caught it Im getting fustrated LBVS

    • @rizillionprints8741
      @rizillionprints8741  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      So you know how there’s little white notches in the feeder…you want to make sure the cutting mat and paper are up against them. You might have to hold the mat in place while it grabs the paper a few times. I ended up gluing mine once I figured out the position, also I cut my mat to 11inches so I can use the margin thingy to fit a3 size paper to keep it from moving to the side

    • @rizillionprints8741
      @rizillionprints8741  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@makeupmotivation5044 That's a valid concern, however, shirts have a minimum turnaround time of 7 days. If you're doing shirts here and there, and kinda crafting instead of building a business, I'd say take that printer back and get you a 6 cart printer, Ill let you decide, but stay away from workforce. thats money in the drain. Theyre decent for sublimation though.
      If you want to build a business, you have to create expectations for your clients, not letting them create your expectations.
      My minimum is 7-10 days. And my minimum tshirt order is 10 shirts. That way its worth my while.

    • @rizillionprints8741
      @rizillionprints8741  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would get brand new ones, 2 sets. The reason I wouldn’t use a ciss system is because the ink is so thick and I wouldn’t want it to clog your tubes

    • @rizillionprints8741
      @rizillionprints8741  ปีที่แล้ว

      no, just buy refillable carts or a ciss. swapping out the carts are good if you don't want the printer to tell you when the ink is getting low. however, you will refill your carts while performing maintenance daily.

      I wouldn't suggest it. I personally think it would be a waste in the long run. Consider what you will be using it for. Are you supplying customers or just doing small projects at home? Consider they need daily maintenance, especially on such a small desktop printer like the one you mentioned. If you're supplying customers with transfers...also may not be a good idea. But if you're looking for something to learn the process on in hopes to upgrade in the next few months. It could be a good idea to start on a desktop printer...this is my opinion based on personal experience. I'm now at a place where I no longer print, I have a really good vendor, that way I can pump out orders faster

      Check facebook marketplace
      You need something with 6 ink channels if you're gonna go desktop. I was using an epson 1430, they're going for about $1000 now. You may luck up and find someone that doesn't know what they have and will probably let it go for $500. I say keep your end goal in mind. That'll help you figure out your budget. The cheaper your startup costs, the more time and money it will take maintaining. Consider that as well.
