@martin galli you need the Relic Hilt of Hofud equipped and press L1 + circle to activate it brother.
I wasnt playing much but was stuck on Gna for days, would get her down to 1 health bar but then lose. This build completely wrecked her it's like a cheat code. Out of so many build videos out there, yours was simply the best & most well explained! Cheers man, you have my sub, thank you! 🥂

Cause its in normal level. On gmgow mode or on no mercy you have to make another realm shift attack to reduce gna's life about 80% and even then you need to make some normal hits to kill her.

@panagiwthsserafeim5141 it is not intended to help players playing on GMGOW difficulty. I play on that difficulty myself and I find it way more fun to do other things on that difficulty, such as killing Gna or the Berseker King using just my shield for example. But when my aim is to help people looking for a viable build to help improve their results, it is best to use Give Me Balance difficulty brother

@paul7268 but on the sixth try that is quite good. The build itself takes a few practice rounds anyway to get the flowing of damage to become easier to output. But I believe you did very well! Thank you for letting me know how it worked for you brother!

Man you made short work of the enemies in the trials, the Berserker and Valkyrie Queen. When I grow up I want to be like you. Haven't faced the Queen as yet but the the trials I did was tough, and that Berserker in Midgard made mince meat of me so much I had to give up and still have to go back for him some time later.

+ 20% damage on combo finishers sounds good, but when I think about how actual combat plays out, I just don’t know if I can even get to a finisher often enough before dodging or parrying for that to even be a big advantage.
Thank you for taking the time to watch and to comment. Because of how the game works, a finished is any "last combo hit". So, during Realm Shift, if you take notice, I'm using the R1+R1+R1+R2 combo. Than last R2 will do 20% more damage. Now, its not a lot but its not the main reason why I'm using Vidar's set. The main reason is the massive increase to Strength you get from that set. It's the number one set for strength stat.

About the sonic attunement accessory: the first and second level add sonic damage, the last upgrade adds sigil damage. Weirdly, the description only describes the bonus for the last upgrade. You need to go to the dwarves to see the bonuses for previous levels.
It is an error in the writing of it as far as I am aware. It still works with the Sonic arrows but for some reason they wrote Sigil when reaching the last upgrade. Weird, right? But as long as it does the right ability, I'm less concerned with the writing. I just got caught off guard when recording the video as I wasn't aware of the error at the time. 😅
@@cadimagamingplace I don't think it's an error. With the third upgrade it adds both sigil and sonic damage. But the fact that the description does not include the first and second bonuses is strange.

Struggled with the king and queen before this build after this build took me 5 try’s for the king just to get used to the build and the queen took me 2 try’s thx finaly platinum

Just wondering about this build, since you’re using wrath on your rage and elemental is based on runic, have you considered using boon of wrath instead of runic gem on the enchantments? Also, switching to poison runic on Freya instead of bifrost ?

First, let me thank you for your trully kind words and for taking the time to watch the video and for leaving your thoughts here. Your support is very much appreciated brother.
As for your suggestions, I did consider using the boon of wrath, but to be honest I use the rage as a last resort only, as in to prevent the bosses from hitting me, especially after missing a parry and getting myself exposed, or something like that. Also, I do occasionally use the wrath to close the gap when the boss decided to travel too far away from me, again, leaving me exposed to a possible ranged attack that is hard to dodge. So, I avoid using the rage as much as I can, therefore having an enchantment slot focused only on rage, would mean I had to commit to it. I also understand that, I could easily just use it to get the buff just before activating the realm shift and the permafrost for even more damage, but I decided not to exploit that and go for a "clean kill", if you get my meaning. As for the poison, I did experiment using it and it did help getting the damage output even higher, but again, I chose not to exploit that too much as I wanted this build to also be viable to multiple enemies and by having the poison thing, I would be waiting a long time with the cooldown. I hope this helps understand my reasons, but keep in mind I completely understand and agree that your suggestions make a lot of sense brother
@@cadimagamingplace makes perfect sense man! So far my only option to beat gna and the king was dragon armour plus berserker waist and braces. Using the realm on the king and the swords on gna as relic. Nifelheim and vanaheim set, bifrost storm and poison from Freya. It’s a pretty balanced build with above 500 str and 400 def. But I’m still working on using the berserker chest cause the damage you take from one hit with soulless warrior has been destroying me every time.

@madjawbreaker I focus on No Damage runs on both of them every time. Therefore I try not to worry about the consequences of getting hit at all, as I play not to get hit. That is why I managed to complete the "all bersekers and gna no damage on Give Me God of War difficulty" which I posted on my channel too. I like to make effective builds but also with some level of challenge attached to them, such as try not to use anything that feels exploitation, like the shield attack combo with the Triangle + R2 with the blades, which stun locks them massively. You know?
@@cadimagamingplace I’ve seen those no damage runs💪 also not a fan of that shield strike blades spam, that’s why it takes so long with my build😅
@madjawbreaker I've done the whole shield spam business once, got Gna down in like 40 seconds and thought to myself: "This isn't right". So, never cared to do it again as I don't believe it is intended to be exploited in such ways.
Such an awesome build! Nicely done. For some reason my stats aren’t the same as yours even when I follow the build. Any reason why that might be? Also, it doesn’t seem to melt the health quite as much, it usually just gets the down to half health. Still, this build is so good, keep it up!
Thank you for commenting and watching the video. The stats difference is definitely related to the Yggdrasil dews and the side mission that ends with you getting a boost of 5 points to all stats. That is the only thing that can explain the stats difference if you are using exactly everything like in the video. The damage difference also, can be related to two things: what difficulty are you play?! This is on Give Me Balance. If you are playing on higher difficulties, the damage output is reduced. Another thing that can explain it, as I know this happened to another viewer recently, is forgetting to activate the permafrost by pressing L1 + Triangle just before the Realm Shift.
Last but not least, there is an updated and upgraded version of this build on a more recent build video on the channel: The Destroyer Build 2.0. Make sure to check it out as I do a slow motion full fight guide on both Gna and the Berseker King at the end that might help you set up the win better if you follow my guidance.

Yes the sigil and sonic attachments for Freya are bugged. I saw that and I thought it was just me. Once your upgrade to the 3rd upgrade the name changes to sonic instead of sigil. I don't know it's just a typo and the game still gives to the correct buff.

@@cadimagamingplace so with all my stuff as highest level as I can get it I'm level 7 right now and even level 8 and 9 monsters stand no chance. Was just doing the boss rush muspelheim challenge (no mercy difficulty on this playthrough) and it MELTS EVERYTHING!!!! No need for specific timing with blades Whiplash spam or anything like that (I really don't like the whiplash attack for some reason)
10/10 will always come back to this specific build. Especially for when I do God of War difficulty!

I used the steinbjorn top for armor top and dragon scale gauntlets and waist armor. With the enchantments and hilt...Im pretty much invincible... but dude this was beasty

I have a question how did you activate bifrost while parrying? I saw it in the final seconds of the berserker fight
If you quickly activate the bifrost right before you parry it does a kind of animation cancel that results in what you saw. It is easier to do than what it looks like. Thanks for the positive feedback. Be aware though that this is not an updated build. This was before the release of NG+. For an updated version of it, check my build video "The Destroyer Build 3.0". You might find it more useful at this stage.
Thanks for the build man. However, looks like lit of practice needee to even execute this. Is it better to go offensive or take the defensive build and take time to chip at the king
Thank you brother for taking the time to watch my video and commenting. However, please be aware there is an updated version of this build on my channel: The Destroyer Build 2.0. Might be worth checking out, as it is even better. Either way, go offensive with this build and do practice as much as possible. Once you get familiar with it, all the combos start coming out much better and linking even faster as you get used to it. But the idea is to be 100% on the bosses face without letting them breath.
I am running the same build but with little bit different attachment and yours one is monster though i already defeated them but still took me 3 to 4 try on Berserker King & GNA...

Out of curiosity what difficulty is this. Im on the hardest difficulty and tbh i just used the base starting gear and maxed it out because the stats were crazy good but now in ng+ i wanna try a build and im curious if this is good for the hard difficulties
This video was recorded on Give Me Balance. But you can see me using the upgraded version of this build (The Destroyer Build 2.0, which you can also find on the channel) to defeat Gna and all the Berserkers without getting hit. I'm currently playing NG+ with this guild and I just kill everything in seconds. Now, be mindful that you can get killed with one big hit or two hits at times. So, requires skill to use properly, but is very rewarding. Thanks for checking the video and leaving your question. I appreciate the support
Im going to try this! My strength is 312 and defense is 512. The King keep beating my ass but I always have him down to 1 health bar. This should help

What sword are you having Freya use against Gna? What Runic is Freya using against Gna? Outstanding video btw!
I always use the sword that does frost damage. To be honest, her sword makes little difference. As for the runic attack for Freya, in this video, it didn't make a difference. But if you watch my upgraded versions of this build onnthe channel, you will see I'm using the Poison Runic Attack with Freya to boost the damage output to a whole new level, on top of making small improvements to the build itself to be able to kill Gna and the Zerk King in seconds. Did this exact armour build and I don’t get the same strength stats and I do everything and it doesn’t do nearly that damage maybe they’ve fixed this since last year?
This video was recorded in NG playing on Give Me Balance difficulty. Also, this was recorded before NG+ was released. They have since nerfed some things, such as the ability to stunlock bosses with Runic Attacks, by giving them the Runic Shield ability. Also, keep in mind that Yggdrasil Seeds will ultimately affected the stats as well. Unless you collect every single one of them, there will be a difference. If I am correct, and I think I am, you are able to find these as rewards from the crucible challenges. Even if you repeat them, you get the rewards. I believe some of them do reward dust of Realms.
I am playing on give me story difficulty and it doesn’t work the way it does for you in video.
1. My permafrost meter doesn’t fill up like yours does and thus not enough damage on R1 R1 R1 R2.
2. Even through runic attacks, I can’t do as much damage as in your video.
If yours is in Give me balanced level, shouldn’t it be easier for my permafrost to build up? (i am using L1+triangle for activating permafrost). Please help.
Are you using everything exactly the way I am? Also, remember that if you get hit, the permafrost gauge goes down. So, it is important you avoid getting hit to ensure you get it build up with no interruptions. Also, keep in mind this was recorded on Give Me Balance but before NG+ patch was released. What I would recommend instead, is trying to use my upgraded version of this build. Check it up on my channel "The Destroyer Build 2.0". Its even better than this bro. Using this build helps. Have you managed to defeat the 3 bersekers in one fight? They drop the chest piece you need for this build. Simply because the ranged attacks combine with the explosions from pressing triangle do a tremendous amount of damage and it kind surprised me in a way. My favourite build, out of all my videos, it's probably the Lucky Storm Build. It is so much fun getting endless elemental storms out of parrying. Its extremely funny 😅

Yeah i have noticed that one spear det doesnt do a lot of base damage, but because of one of the skills where multiple spears detonating it does a tonne more. I think blades are my favourite, because of the quick charge triangle r1 and r2. The spear is really nice though because of the r1 hold attacks, and then i always quickly det it after to deal a lot of damage.
@underhandloki2469 another really strong point of the spear is the R2 combos. Not only they dish out a lot of damage but also they get enemies airborne, allowing for some level of safety while attacking. Its good fun and it gives something new to use during this game.
Just in case you didn’t know you can also alter the pride of frost skill by doing R2 R2 R1 R2 instead of R1 R1 R1 R2
the two extra heavies do a bit more damage
I know brother, but when doing so, the attack is slightly slower and you end up missing the last R2 by the end of the realm shift. I tried it many times, but always end up missing that very last hit.

Hi, this build is amazing, but i cant get seal of runic storm, it didnt drop from the dragon in burning skies favor, and i dont have boon of valor because the blatoon didnt appeared, does anybody have the same problem? Any tips? I play in ps4 and already finish the main story

Not sure whats happening at 15.00mins with the axe, is that just holding triangle to charge it up?
No brother. That is the ability "Permafrost" which you activate once the permafrost gauge is full by pressing L1 + triangle. To fill up your permafrost, you must land hits/combos on your enemies without taking damage. Once Permafrost is activated you get a massive increase to Axe damage while the permafrost is active. It lasts for about 8 seconds. I've been trying to do the Berserker King for the past 4 hours with success in beating him.
Followed your build and your moves, but I can't seem to chunk his health bar like in your video.

How is your strength so high? I feel like my gear is the exact same, and my strength is only 502.
Do you have the same exact gear? Same enchantments? Same weapon attachments? Same shield attachments? Is everything fully upgraded to max level? Many things can explain the difference brother. @spontas0053 the Destroyer is a very good single target focused build. So, it is perfect to destroy bosses and fun to use all around. But the elemental damage build is a very fun, very versatile build too, but than it lacks that idea of a "burst damage" moment, that you get from The Destroyer when using the realm shift. My suggestion would be to use The Destroyer though.

I wish i knew how to make builds. Theres just so many stats that it gets overwhelming for me. I just stuck with kratos original armor maxed out and platinumed on normal difficulty. Definitely cant play on give me god of war
It takes patience, time and a lot of experimenting with to actually finely tune any build in any game. But the more you do it, the easier and more natural it becomes.
