I got a Wethepeople Envy about a year and a half ago. Used it in my driveway to learn how to track stand and learn some basic moves for mountain biking. I had a Sears version of a stingray in the 60s as a kid. This new BMX is so much more capable. It weighs 25 lbs. Like you say, all Chromoly. It easy and fun to pull it off the ceiling and just ride for a few minutes around the neighborhood.
I love this! Super interesting for old man like me who got into BMX last year after ~30 years of break (and got his ass smashed while practicing manual few days ago.) Yes, more the better! One day i will build a bike in the spirit of those oldskool bikes, with ape hangers and banana saddle. Ive dreamed about bike like that since i was like 4, but never got one. I would like to make it with a bit bigger wheels tho, perhaps i should make it out of some sort of beach cruiser frame?
Digging that Scrambler! Super clean!
I’m 59 and we all did that to our stingrays. Not the spokes though- next level!

I'm 54. My first bmx bike back in the mid 70s was a Huffy Thunder Road with a banana seat and a #56 number plate. Good times.
I remember those. I recall them having plastic fenders also.
@@ShadLife Yes, it had plastic fenders. I loved that bike.

The fact that grown men are still riding tiny bmx bikes is just weird...
You mean... having fun is a bad thing? 🤔
