It's pretty simple - million dollar man WAS the richest wrestler in kayfabe. All kids believed kayfabe to be true. Done.
Down south, or in Georgia we knew better but that was because our wrestling fans were way too serious back in the 70s and 80s

It's not how much you have made but how much your total assets are worth. I have made a million dollars in my 20 some years of employment but I sure as hell am not worth a million dollars. With that said I do think Brock is probably worth atleast that though cause I imagine he has probably made close to 50 million between WWE, UFC and endorsements and considering he hasn't had any divorces since he made his money and doesn't strike me as somebody that would completely piss it away with terrible investments, gambling, partying etc. there's no reason to think that he wouldn't still have atleast half of that between what he has in his portfolio and the property he owns.
if cena took a higher cut on the merch he sold, he would be much higher on the list

$60 million as the last of the PPV main eventers and all that merch and you're saying he didn't get that much of a cut? Jeeeezuuuus. All those t shirts that cost maybe a dollar to make and selling for $20+. If he was getting half the net that's millions he lost out on if he was getting a lower percentage. Just at the arena say they sold 500 Cena shirts every Raw and Smackdown that alone is a million in sales over a year $20 x 2shows x 52weeks
@@BortBortson between 09-13 which was when cena was at his most hated (he was getting 50/50 crowd reactions) , despite half the crowd hating his guts, i’d say they sold at least 5,000 shirts every raw or ppv (beside big 4). looking at mitb 2011 crowd i’d guess 30% were wearing cena merch at least. if cena took just 10% of earnings from that, he’d surpass the rock

Cena has made more than 60 million in his career more than likely. His networth also includes his car collection. I don't know how much it is right now but at one point it was worth over 3 million dollars.
I remember when I was young and MTV ran a special on former wrestlers, and I saw Tony Atlas standing on his deck behind a small ranch house grilling wings on his grill, I couldn't understand why he wasn't living in a mansion with a personal chef. This was a guy who was on TV, after all, he must be rich. Little did I know..
Unfortunately as Tony himself said "it's not how much you make but how much you save". Tony was never known for his great thinking ability and at one time was living on a park bench, but he got better

*Weird thing that might factor into Andre's money is the 'OBEY' brand. Their logo is actually the stylized face of Andre and his estate may be getting royalties from that*
I'd say Mick Foley is a closet millionaire. Not double digits...but I can see like 4 million. He has been stated as frugal to a fault and he definitely got some big paydays in WWE in the early 2000s. You also never hear him begging for money in any social media. He probably isn't listed because he isn't going to share it openly.

I'm kinda surprised Kevin Nash isn't on this list. He made a lot of money in WCW, and he's done movies. I've seen him in an interview saying he still lives off the money he made in WWF before he went to WCW. Also, he gets a percentage of all nWo merchandise sales.

I am glad Undertaker has at least $10 million when he's been wrestling and supported WWF/WWE for decades. I know people were shocked about his autograph prices and restrictions in Megacon Orlando. Autograph prices have to do with how much they paid that company for Undertaker's appearance and wanting a cut of the money when autograph memorabilia is sold online. That 1991 rookie card and event tickets with Undertaker's signature can net a HUGE payday.

It honestly makes sense that The Bellas are on this list, in their time since they debuted in the WWE they were on Total Divas, they had their own spinoff show of Total Bellas, they had 2 wine companies called Bella Radici & Bonita Bonita, they have a line of hair care products called N+B, they have a line of clothing and lingerie called Birdiebee, And most recently they have partnered with Colugo designing a new collection of baby care items. Now if the Bella’s weren’t high on this list, THEN I would be surprised.

The Bellas are more popular than many "true" fans would like to admit. Total Divas and Total Bellas were two very successful reality shows. Nikki Bella was in "dancing with the stars" and now she's in AGT or something like that. They have a legends and Hall of Famers deal with WWE, they have several lines of clothing, Nikki is a successful real estate agent, I think they have a podcast and they monetize their Instagrams and they have many ways to make money. They might not have been the greatest wrestlers ever but they were smart enough to make the most of their time in the business.
